Bar du Marché

Didn't eat here but stopped for late drinks a couple of times on our recent first trip to Paris. The male staff are costumed as traditional French working men, with overalls / rompers and caps giving strong Jean Paul Gautier vibes. They were extremely kind on our visits there and we'll definitely find our way back. Also, great terrace, great people watching, nice bar snacks.

Good bar for a drink and observing the Parisian atmosphere. The food is a little overpriced (but normal compared to the area). I had the Penne Napolitaine and it was generally tasteless, like it was made with store-bought sauce, so wouldn’t recommend, especially for €21… Otherwise good and quick service.

Bar du Marché offers a fantastic location with a lively atmosphere that makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The vibe is on point, but be prepared to pay a premium for it. While the experience is enjoyable, the prices are a bit steep for what you get.

My wife a regular here when in Paris , Brought 2 rose wines 175 glasses with ice at bar , said we would go out side and sit down to smoke . Asked for bill and was charged 30 euros . Sadly they paid and left . That is a disgusting price , sure the waiter ripped them off

Toilet is disgusting, the whole hallway smells like piss. Glad i only drank two bad and overpriced espressos here, wouldn’t want to eat here, feels and looks very dirty. All the condiments in the kitchen dont have a lid, looks gross and i would NOT be surprised if there are some unwanted guests there. 🐭 I guess you pay for the nice location.

Decent bar that's very popular and serves drinks, including cocktails, and snack foods. Nice location with a good set of tables outside that are covered with heaters. Inside is a traditional bar on one side and restaurant on the other. Nice dining area and food is fast and service is at the table Overall a good place for a few drinks and snacks

Stopped here on a Sunday night for a drink with friends. Lively atmosphere considering it was a Sunday. Waiter was incredibly friendly. Large variety of different cocktails. Drinks were well made and tasted good. Stayed open until 1:30am on a Sunday which is much later than most in central Paris. Would return again.

Favorite bar in this area. We loved to be there every evening in Paris.
