Bar El Estrecho

Title: Hidden Gem in Marbella’s Old Town Review: I was looking to have an authentic Andalusian dinner and found it at Estrecho Marbella 1954. Tucked away in a narrow side alley off the beaten path, it’s easy to miss — but worth seeking out. The salmorejo was rich and smooth, the Russian salad fresh, the sardines fried to perfection, and the Padrón peppers full of flavor. The service was warm, and the whole place had a genuine local feel. Five stars.

We are working our way through the BEST TAPAS recs we have been given in Old Town Marbella. Last nights hidden jewel was right up there, a REAL authentic Andalusian welcome in every way. Fab tapas ⭐️ cava with top draw brilliant service from Pablo & Zak! Yep, it made the list! 👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🥂 Z

It was highly recommended by Google. I had the croquettes which were nice. But I could not taste any ham or chicken within them. But that maybe my mistake in that an error in translation as maybe they should of been specifically asked for. Very friendly helpful English speaking bar tener. It is a small authentic feeling bar in the old town.

We had a very delicious gastronomic experience here, apparently the oldest tapas bar in the area. As it's famous, I will suggest for you to go during lunch time. So not expect large or medium dishes, these are TAPAS! Was is a light snack. Well done to team of thus little lovely place

It was decent but the value is simply not there, neither in quality nor quantity. Expected more after reading reviews and guidebook recommendations.

Really good food and amazing atmosphere. Especially loved the Chorizo Al Vino (but everything was really good so you can’t go wrong)! Great waiter. If you’re tired of posh places with terrible food this will be your rescue.

We went as a 4, booked beforehand and had another brilliant experience. Food was amazing had a variety as seen from picture.. Definitely recommend.

This place is great. Yelp ratings seem unusually low compared to google and trip advisor. Service was astounding. Quick and attentive even though it was packed. They went out of their way to get us a table even though they were totally booked. Great food.

This place was just ok. We had a variety of tapas and the sangria. At the door we saw a bunch of trip advisor badges so we thought it would be good but we were a bit disappointed. The food was just ordinary.

Great traditional food and tapas. I had my first taste of boquerones here! I liked the marinated one better than fried but a must try. And shrimp pil pil! Omg. I wish they had outdoor seating but it's worth the authentic food. It's in a little alley and hard to find but delish

This place was great. It is quite hidden but we searched for it after seeing how highly rated it was on trip advisor for tapas. We were not disappointed. It's a tiny place with great and friendly service. I loved everything we ordered, which included the meatballs, Pork, sausage, tomato salad, croquettes, and a spinach and chick pea special. We had about 7 orders of tapas plus a bottle of wine and another drink and the total was $37 euro! Great experience.

Ordinary and basic food. The "1 Racion" which is the big portion was little food. We had the fish with oregano and it tasted too much like oregano and lime (This was a good portion of food but it's just the fish no sides). The Slow Braised Pork with Fries was a small amount of food. They put the fries on the bottom and the pork with sauce on the top so the fries get soggy.

Lovely cafe that serves traditional Spanish tapas. Wonderful food. Try the meatball tapas and red pepper salad.
