Bar Gregory

We loved Bar Gregory in Teruel, as it serves food all day, where many of the surrounding bars stop after lunch and restart around 8pm. Much too late for us simple folk from Blighty who like our tea around tea time. So the menu is printed in English, and has a menu that will suit the needs of most people. The prices are very reasonable and the wine is not only good, but again reasonable. The team are very friendly and Spanglish is spoken, although as a guest in a hosts country, it's always good to use Google translate to try out a few phrases in order to communicate. Give this venue a try, as you won't be disappointed.

Very friendly staff and some great authentic tapas coming from the kitchen. Potatas Bravos was delicious, best I’ve had.

We've eaten here twice in two days, and we are only in Teruel for two days! Our favorite is the Albongidas. We've had the mussels and the arogonese salad, too. Both very good. Next time we are here, we will definitely have to come back. I don't know where else we can find meatballs this good.

Very bad service, the waiter and the cashier very rude, the owner was watching behind the bar and didn't say anything 🙄. I went there with some colleagues from work this afternoon when we finished our drinks I stepped inside by the counter but still public area to ask for the bill and explained that I wanted to pay inside because I didn't want my colleagues to see that I was paying for them. The waiter ignored me and her colleague came in a very aggressive tone asking me to get out and pay in credit card. I didn't want to make a scene in front of my colleagues but somebody should teach some manners to the staff of this place.

Walked in because it was the only place that had their kitchen open, not knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. Great quality food, not cheap but not expensive either. Very good price compared to the quality and the size of the plate. It was very busy when i sat down but that didn't seem to affect the service quality at all. The staff was polite, efficient and i got my plate served in about 10 or 15 minutes time. Very recommendable 👍👍

I have known this Bar Gregory for many years, way back. You chose whatever takes your fancy, a full plate or half plate. A Spanish tapas bar which I regard as the best in Teruel. You really can't go wrong. Little space inside, but if weather is good, there is no problem Staff are friendly and very helpful.

The best place for food, drinks, and friendly staff in Teruel I have spent many months here and I always find myself coming back to say hello to Anna, Maria and Gabby over some drinks and food.
