Traditional Polish food served in a no-frills self service style. Order and pay at the bar and you will be called up when each dish you ordered becomes available. Lovely barszcz (beetroot soup) with uszki (meat ravioli). Excellent placki ziemniaczane z grzybami (potato pancakes with mushroom sauce). Very good pierogi z miesem (meat pierogi) done in a soft dough (rather than fried which I prefer). No alcoholic drinks available. Cheap, cheerful but delicious.

Very good food. We particularly enjoyed their bigos and goulash. Friendly staff.

First of all, the place is very clean and very calm. It’s a perfect spot for those who want to feel at home. I had the chicken cutlet with potatoes and it was so delicious! The soups, drinks, and salad are also very good. The man and woman who served us me very kind and polite. I definitely recommend this place. The prices are also very reasonable.

It's in a very touristic place, so it's clearly not the cheapest milk bar you'll find, but the prices are still reasonable. The owner was super nice and seems to speak every language! The goulash soup was great, very tasty. We were also served really fast despite the place being quite full. No alcohol served, so if you want to enjoy a beer with your meal, this is not the place for you!

Great place if you're looking for a home cooked meal for a reasonable price in a casual setting. Had the menu of the day with soup and goulash. Tasty! Nice view if you snatch the window seat.

My favorite bar when in Krakow. Very simple food and 1/2 the price of the hotel restaurant like The Sheraton. Food quality is 100% the potato's are out of this world and the pork schnitzel is to die for. It's self service but good fun. It can fill up quickly however even at peak time we were seen to quickly.

The friendly man behind the counter tried telling me he didn't speak much English, but he spoke perfectly for what we needed to accomplish. Sir - don't sell yourself short. All I can say is, "Excuse me, do you speak English," "hi" and "thank you." Your English is just fine. Also of note, they do have an English menu, which is a lifesaver since the food is in the back, not up front where you can point to it. I had the cabbage roll with mixed salad - super yummy, and a steal at about $5 (that included a bottle of water). A nice spot to duck in for a meal after seeing the neighboring sights.

Not a bar, but a cheap eatery where you order from the counter. The guy seemed a bit miffed that I didn't tip but if you pay up front then how do you know the service (or indeed the food) isn't going to be awful. The food was good though. Polish fare potatoe pancakes with mushrooms. Good, cheap, hearty.
