Great vibes.
Very crowded with no table service. You’d have to order and pay at the bar.
This seems to be a place with mostly locals. Everyone was having fun - eating , drinking and dancing.
Food was delicious, especially shrimp skewer
Bread was a bit stale but I wasn’t too bothered by it
Waitress was very friendly and patient with taking my order in English.
If you’re ok with noise, self-service and crowd.. I’d say go for it.. you will walk out with a fully and happy belly. Price was reasonable in my opinion
So glad I went to this bar.

Great little tapas bar. Noisy, full of locals, music, singing, great food and drink - just the perfect night out. Gets busy so you need to wait or get lucky to get a seat. Ordering from the bar but the food comes quickly.

Just a special quirky place, a traditional Tapas bar. A great choice of Tapas, great drinks, fantastic staff and a great atmosphere.
A constant merry go round of customers.... go in choose you drinks and tapas, find a shelf / table and enjoy the experience.

We went on Sunday afternoon, fantastic place filled with lovely local Spanish people. We had a feast of tapas and wine for €27 . The pork stew with potatoes was mouth watering . It’s busy , it’s loud and you may not get a table but be patient it’s worth it . My favourite place on our trip so far . Love how you get the bill written on the bar 🤣

A lively, friendly bar with tasty food! We went at Monday lunchtime in January and it was still very busy with locals, clearly a popular place. The staff were friendly and helpful. You order and pay at the bar. The customers were also nice, as two of them pointed it out when I dropped a €5 banknote when paying. The food came out out quickly and was really good. Especially the prawns on a skewer and goat's cheese toast. I would definitely come back if I'm in Malaga again.

Didn’t eat here so not rating the food; just ordered drinks and spent the rest of our time here enjoying the vibe of this super cool tavern. Favorite bits were talking to total strangers who were locals. And asking staff about various drinks that everyone kept ordering at the bar. We passed by this spot a few more times on our trip and it was always packed to the brim at night. So if you want a local experience certainly worth checking it out.

This place was fantastic. The staff were amazing. Great tapas and drinks 👌 me girlfriend and I managed to prop against the bar as the small tapas bar was rammed on a late Friday afternoon. Really great atmosphere if you’re looking for that. If you’re looking for a quiet drink this isn’t your place on a Friday afternoon. Can’t recommend this place enough

I got the tip from a local. Very friendly staff. The bartender, in particular, is incredibly kind and attentive. The atmosphere is truly Spanish. A authentic interior, cozy, crowdy and noisy. Just the way you want it. The oxtail was divine and buttery soft.

Yelp
It's loud and cozy and what you expect for a smaller, local Bar.
Got here around 8 on a Monday evening and it was like a competition to get to the Bar to place an order. Give one of the Bartenders a wave and that's about it.
Ordered a Vermouth to start-local and tasty. I wanted to try the Flamenquin and asked what other Tapa is a good one to try (smaller). The kind Bartender suggested the Zucchini Tortilla. Solid Omelette with Zucchini and very good (but it isn't really small). Star of the show was the Flamenquin (and this alone would've been enough unless sharing)
Pork with peppers breaded and fried with a side of Patatas-excellent and I haven't seen this one anywhere else locally.
Friendly people behind the Bar. Just gently navigate your way to the Bar for your order-friendly local crowd. Surprisingly, they slowed down shortly after I arrived. Must be Holiday on a Monday night effect.

Yelp
I had read about this tapas bar on Trip Advisor and we decided to stop here for something to eat...the place was packed around 5pm.....definitely light crowd, according to our server Dani. It gets really busy after 8pm.
We eventually got some free room at the bar and we ordered several nice tapas to eat along with some cañas (small glasses of beer). She gave us Victoria which is a Malaga beer brand and it was really good...
The place was loud, lively and fun. A really cool place to stop by if you are in the area.

Yelp
Great authentic tapas atmosphere but the food itself was so-so. We got her early on a Wednesday evening and though crowded were able to snag to seats at the bar. I began with a red wine and then decided to try some vermouth since it is so popular. It was pretty good. I think I will stick with the very good and very inexpensive Spanish red wine.
We ordered a number of tapas after getting the free olives with our drinks. Again another place where the menu is on line from a QR code so to make it easier given our limited Spanish we made a list.
We started with the seafood stuffed avocado which was probably the best thing we got. We misordered some cheese instead of meatballs and it was decent. The tortilla was also pretty good as was the cheese and ham empanada. The flamenquin we ordered was a disappointment. Many of the hot tapas were microwaved!
Overall a fun vibe but the tapas was a mixed bag.

Yelp
Finally came here for dinner and was disappointed by the food. I wonder what the hype of this place is all about? The singing waiters? The cheap food? Every time we passed by it was packed so we thought this place would be great. To my dismay it wasn't. I would skip this one if I come back. Trust!

Yelp
Great small local eatery popular with the locals. The first time I went there at 11pm at night the place was full. Tried a second time at noon time during the day which is early for locals and I was able to get a seat. Highly recommend the flamenquin there. The other dishes were good as well but not as memorable as the flamequin.

Yelp
This was a stop we made to try so many different types of tapas and it was delicious. Meatballs, roasted pork, sardines, empanadas and against my normal preference, a melted goat cheese with grilled onions. As we look back over the day, it was the tastiest thing we tried, which is hard for me to admit. It was the perfect way to wait out a little rain.

Yelp
Great place! Lively, excellent food and drinks. Stop by for a drink and a tapas; all the fun!

Yelp
This little bar is such a quintessential hole-in-wall. It has great tapas, an amazing wine selection, and is situated perfectly for some great people-watching. Stop by for croquettes and a glass of wine after shopping or exploring.

Yelp
A fun place to grab drinks, nibble on tapas, and and unwind after hours of sightseeing. The music is fun and loud but not obnoxiously so. The crowd is mixed; we saw college kids, young parents and older folk. The food is simple and tasty- try the empanadas (spinach or chicken and mushroom). They also have a great bottle of house red. We got a Tempranillo-Cabernet Sauvignon blend that was delicious, and only EUR 10 for the bottle!

Yelp
Local bar. Busy and friendly. Our man-bun waiter sang along with most of the music, good voice. Lots of tasty tapas. Several barreled drinks. I had a red vermouth, my husband, a dry.

Yelp
Another amazing tapas bar in Malaga - really nice staff, local guests and authentic atmosphere. Be sure not to miss the vermouth de barrillo.
