During my last visit to Basel, I had already tried to stop by for a drink, but unfortunately didn’t have the best experience. There was a queue of three parties — two groups and me on my own. I waited for more than 10 minutes without anyone checking in, giving a quick update, or even seating me at the bar as a solo guest.
This time, however, everything was different — in the best possible way. After a short wait, I was seated at the bar. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and professional. When I asked for directions to the restroom before leaving, a very kind young lady even personally showed me the way.
This is exactly how I imagine a visit to such a renowned establishment. If the service stays like this, I’ll gladly return anytime. 😊
