Such a nice bar. I only had cocktails - but wow for the service and the quality of drinks

During my last visit to Basel, I had already tried to stop by for a drink, but unfortunately didn’t have the best experience. There was a queue of three parties — two groups and me on my own. I waited for more than 10 minutes without anyone checking in, giving a quick update, or even seating me at the bar as a solo guest. This time, however, everything was different — in the best possible way. After a short wait, I was seated at the bar. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and professional. When I asked for directions to the restroom before leaving, a very kind young lady even personally showed me the way. This is exactly how I imagine a visit to such a renowned establishment. If the service stays like this, I’ll gladly return anytime. 😊 American Express was excepted.

This is one of the most beautiful spots to enjoy cocktails in Basel! The view of the Rhine is exceptional, the drinks are delicious, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!

I recently celebrated my birthday there, and I can’t express enough how grateful I am for the wonderful experience they provided. The day started with a bit of chaos due to the unexpected heavy snowfall, which forced me to cancel many of my original birthday plans. I even arrived a little late because of the weather, but from the moment I stepped in, the team there made me feel at ease. The atmosphere was warm and beautifully decorated, setting the perfect scene for a special evening. The pianist was there and played beautifully throughout the evening, blending classical and modern pieces seamlessly. As a special touch, he even played Happy Birthday for me, which made the moment even more magical. And the birthday dessert—absolutely delicious! It was the perfect highlight of my birthday, and I could tell it was made with thoughtfulness and care. I’m incredibly thankful for the amazing hospitality and the effort. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for making my birthday so special!

we went there for some drinks Drinks: WOW the drinks are very good and excellent! just bring your big wallet with you..... service: one of the most professional places i've been. the employees are very well educated in the serving field! ambience: very beautiful and "old-money" fancy place. very great to hang out especially because they have a fireplace in the middle of the bar. totally go there! but expect a bill around $100.- if you get around 4 drinks.

Reviewing the hotel bar: nice atmosphere and good service, but CHF 18 for a large beer?! I've been to more than a handful of 3-star Michelin restaurants around the world and never paid prices like these...

had afternoon meal and drinks in the bar / lounge at the trois rois luxurious old fashioned place that shines giventhe extensive renovations. very nice bar menu and good service not a given in switzerland but les trois rois really fits the bill as a grand european hotel in that tradition.
