Bar Loretta

Great service and great food. We came in around 5pm on a Thursday and it was pretty dead, but once 6pm came, it was very alive with almost all tables filled and the bar seats taken! Ray took care of us tonight and he was very on top of making sure our waters were never half full. We ordered the two burgers which were fantastic. The fries sucked- they were unseasoned and tasted frozen. The tater tots were just okay.

Started with a TJs Hen house, which had a great Smokey Mezcal flavor. Then a gin number with strawberries that hit the spot. For food I had the brick chicken with a fried egg and bread pudding. Superb. Several in our party got the burgers and they all looked incredible.

Bar Loretta was amazing! The food was outstanding — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, very attentive and welcoming, and the atmosphere was elegant yet cozy, making it a perfect spot for a night out. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, great drinks, and a memorable dining experience.

I always forget to take a before pic, but obviously I enjoyed the buffalo burger. Never had bison before, it was great! And paired really well with the Mac n cheese. Raymond was super nice! And so was the host that seated us. We came to recreate our first date and it was a lovely time.

This place is my favorite restaurant in San Antonio. The food is so delicious and the service is always impeccable. I visit at least 4-5 times a year.

Perfect spot for our date night. From the moment we walked in—late on a Saturday with no reservation—the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and flexible. Ashley, our server, was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I had the pork ribeye, and my wife ordered the shrimp—both were delicious, with rich flavors and beautiful presentation. Between the great food, Ashley’s amazing service, and the cozy, intimate atmosphere, Bar Loretta made our night feel truly special. We’ll definitely be back for another date night soon.

I advise making reservations to ensure no wait. Their reservations are simple online but their space is quaint, so don’t walk in expecting to get seated right away. Food is amazing ambiance is 👌👌. One of my favorite spot to take clients and out of town friends. Bar area is the cutest. Honest feedback: I think they’re having AC issues because we were sweating pretty significantly inside. Also wait staff can be a bit slow and not extremely attentive (but always kind overall)
