After visiting the cathedral and doing a little sightseeing we stumbled across this place that was very crowded with locals having lunch. We sat at the counter and had drinks and olives while waiting a short time for a table. We each had the special which was fried squid, roast pork, potatoes and a pepper/ eggplant sauce on the side. A Russian potato salad as a side dish. My wife had a custard dessert that was delicious and we had two drinks. 28 Euros total.

Super neat, casual place serving local cuisine. Gets very busy very fast, so if you want to get a table, get there early. It's not fancy, but it's very good. Service is excellent, too, including the fact that they have menus in English.

Came here as we heard great things about it, but from the moment we walked in we got a dirty look from the waitress who looked like she hated her job and human beings. We sat down waiting to be served, but. I one came so my wife went to ask and again received rude behaviour from said waitress! She then slammed the menus down and walked off without explaining what and how we needed to order food as it was confusing as you had to write what you wanted on a small piece of player. My wife again went to ask for help politely, she shrugged and said no English! An English speaking lady helped but once we ordered drinks that human hating waitress slammed (and I mean slammed) our drinks down onto the table to cause them to spill. We then immediately decided we was not ever going to eat here, so paid for our drinks and left the waitress from hell behind, good luck wear cross if you ever come to this place.

It’s worth it waiting for sometime in a long queue. Tapa portions are one bite size and served quickly. The taste is good with some unique flavour .

Very popular central bar with terrace which was always full of locals. Staff were efficient and the food was great. We ate the best olives we had ever had, sausage with almonds, calamari with tomato and a stuffed tigre which was full of mussels rather than sauce! Highly recommended but get there early if you want a seat. Good range of wine too.

Wonderful local tapas place. We had a very friendly waiter who made all the difference since we don't speak Spanish. Had several local wines and multiple dishes. Fills up fast so go early.

This is the best Spanish restaurant I have been to! The staff is super friendly and helpful, they explained in detail what everything from the menu was. The food was fresh and recently made, it tased delicious! We had many things, including octupus that was amazing and mushroom croquetes that was mind blowing! The food and drinks were really cheap as well. We will definetively come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Murcia!

Yelp
Such a find! Recommended by a local. The staff are SO busy and yet so efficient and friendly. The tapas are great and so helpful for a non Spanish speaker being able to see most of the food laid out. A real buzz in the place.
The family business has been going since 1926 and I can see why!

Yelp
What a find! This place is unbelievable, everything is so delicious, and it looks like its been here for a while: the sign said it was established in 1926. Looks like only locals come here.
Staff is very friendly, great and fast service, and there is a menu in English!

Yelp
Truly a tapas bar. I ordered 5 items on the recommendation of the behind the counter host. All items were good. Some were heated before plated. It's like a walk up sushi bar for tapas. Small place in the center of Murcia near the Cathedral

Yelp
pongo dos estrellas por el personal que hacía lo que podía , la comida pésima grasienta y fría.
