Bar Maipi

Nice spot to come to for a drink and something to eat. The place has multiple guía hedonista recommendations through the Years. We stopped here for a drink and snack before lunch as it seemed like a good spot when we always passed by. Very local spot and we were lucky to have a spot outside as their were pretty much fully booked for lunch. Only space by the bar left. The service was good once we got their attention and the food was good too (we didn’t have a full lunch as we weren’t hungry) but will definitely come back and would recommend to come here if you want a local spanish experience with some spanish tapas. Price was average.

Hands down the best tapas experience I ever had. this place has a very authentic and cosy atmosphere and a seasoned, focused and expert staff. A reason to visit the city.

Took a quick lunch here , poor Food 14 euros for few pieces of friend Calamari🙈🙈🥺 Go to next plage or fast food too 1/3 of price . Reallly small poor food 😩

The food is tops. A little expensive but top quality and cooked in front of the seating area. Would be eating here again.

Nice place, but probably surfing the success and recognition they've had in the past but currently, the plates aren't worth it. €16 for grilled calamaris and I could literally count them... the plate arrived and it looked like someone ate half of it. Way overpriced for what you get. There are much better options elsewhere.

AVOID!!! Overpriced for the quality and quantity delivered, inexplicable extra charge on the bill, and the owner is ignorant and abusive. I could tell by some of the staff’s expressions and body language that they know he’s regularly horrible to customers. I now see (sadly after the fact) all the one star reviews over many years saying the same thing. AVOID!! There are far better places in Valencia to spend your money, and you’d get much better food for the same cost or less.

Super pricey… small dishes for a very high price in Valencia. Food is good but not so good for that price. Traditional food like this one can be found much better in the area with a more competitive price. Also the sepia was very salty.
