Affordable, cheap food, nothing special, more like a student food hall than anything else. Just go, order, pay, eat, begone. Not top quality, but top price - definitely. That's why you see such giant lines on these venues everywhere across Polskom

Simple, homemade, and tasty food — affordable, though slightly more expensive than similar places. It’s a spot mostly visited by locals, where the ladies don’t speak English and there’s no English menu. Even though they don’t have much patience (or time, due to how busy it gets) to explain, if you manage to translate and show the name of the dish, you’ll be well served. Card payments are accepted.

We only paid 6 euros per person, and look how much we ate!
For people who love Polish food, this is the best place to go — the only thing is, they don’t speak any English sooo… good luck!

This is obviously a nice idea and from what I’ve read a traditional place to get polish food. However if you don’t speak polish don’t even bother. The staff never gave me my food and refused to help until a kind young polish woman helped me out.
That said, the food was okay and cheap, but not worth the hassle.

I found this place thanks to GPT Chat. What an incredible recommendation... good prices and delicious homemade food. Recommended for tourists... although they don't speak much English, if you show them a photo of a meal, they'll sell it to you, and you can pay with a credit card.

Great food, taste like home. Not of you looking for fancy place but when you want to eat something good like home made.
Prices should be much higher for this quality
Traditional polish dishes.
This is legendary place and I hope it will last forever.
Im a big fan

Amazing place and food. For tourists - Google Translate is your best friend here - check the menu with it, choose dishes, write them in a note on the phone and give it to the teller. Enjoy the best local dishes!

This is the bar mleczny. It means that you will find a real Polish food for a fraction of the price.
People could be really different. From students to retired and poor but kind people.
Somebody asked me very politely if I could give him 3 zl (€0,70) as he was hungry.
I bought him entire meal and it was just €2. Would you not help this way yourself.
He could not stop thanking me.
I would come back, to get a chicken liver, (watróbka), szczawiowa zupa and breakfast scramble eggs.
