Bar mleczny familijny

I found this place thanks to GPT Chat. What an incredible recommendation... good prices and delicious homemade food. Recommended for tourists... although they don't speak much English, if you show them a photo of a meal, they'll sell it to you, and you can pay with a credit card.

The food was good, order soup and a bigger meal. It's was very tasty.

The mushroom soup is pure comfort food. Hearty and excellent. I also ordered cabbage salad with beets and apple, and cheese crepes. Everything was excellent! I asked for the English menu which made them laugh. Then you hand your ticket through the kitchen window to get your food.

The food was good. The (cashier) young "healthy" lady seems to be annoyed while asking some questions about the menu, if I understood myself I would never ask. However, she didn't have that 'welcoming attitude'. The old lady chef was really good prepping and serving the food fast. Even though they seemed to have left their "smile" back at home before coming to work.

Great food, taste like home. Not of you looking for fancy place but when you want to eat something good like home made. Prices should be much higher for this quality Traditional polish dishes. This is legendary place and I hope it will last forever. Im a big fan

The place itself is interesting, because it reminds of older times. The food is decent and the price is great. I would work on the service though, there was confusion with orders and the staff could be more polite. It’s good for a quick and cheap bite.

Old school bar Mleczny, very classic menu, priced are very good, this place is family run, I can only try recommend it.

If you want to eat traditional polish food and spend very little money, this is the perfect place. It's obviously different than a normal restaurant but the food is delicious and definitely worth it. As a tourist I feel like I have to give 4 stars instead of 5 because there's no english translation for the food and nobody speaks english there, therefore the only way to understand anything is to use google translate and watch as the food comes out of the kitchen.

This is the bar mleczny. It means that you will find a real Polish food for a fraction of the price. People could be really different. From students to retired and poor but kind people. Somebody asked me very politely if I could give him 3 zl (€0,70) as he was hungry. I bought him entire meal and it was just €2. Would you not help this way yourself. He could not stop thanking me. I would come back, to get a chicken liver, (watróbka), szczawiowa zupa and breakfast scramble eggs.
