Bar N

We were looking to get away from the business of Dotonbori and stumbled across this place. It was exactly what we were looking for. Chill, cozy bar with good drinks. If we are ever in the area again we will be returning for the lemon sours!

We absolutely love Bar N! We stumbled upon this little bar one night. This bar is family owned for over 40+ years! The father (yukio) is the sweetest, and cutest man! We enjoyed a glass of whiskey with him. His daughter (Sensa? We think her name was) was also the sweetest and helped us choose some great drinks! We came here multiple nights in a row just because of the atmosphere and how kind they are. Love you bar N!!

We entered from a narrow alley to see an even more narrow and steep staircase that led us to an upper room where the Mr Miyagi of whiskeys guided us to our selection. If a discreet, unassuming whiskey experience is what you need after fighting your way through the crowded streets then come to Bar N.

Wonderful low key bar located down a narrow alleyway. I’ve been here twice and it seems to attract a mix of locals and tourists. Great selection of whisky, especially Japanese, and I have some new favorites after my most recent visit.

The most memorable experience in Osaka. Cozy bar that’s been owned by the family for 43 years. Owner is lovely and takes time to get to know you and recommend places to go in Osaka. Drinks are incredible and the family are so nice.

Fantastic bar, very cozy! The owner even shared with us some recommendations on what to do during our stay in Osaka which was a great help. Highly recommend!

Great way to end our visit to Osaka. Sad we didn't find this sooner. If you want a whiskey bar, this is a must.

No food but drinks and service were 10/10! Plenty of space available even on a busy Friday night. Classical music plays as you enjoy a wide variety of japenese whiskey and mixed cocktails. Truly a hidden gem!!
