This place has an incredible collection of vinyls, not only traditional jazz, but also more of an electronic, experimental and oriental side of jazz. The atmosphere is extemely warm, it’s the perfect place to spend your afternoon. Cocktails are amazing, wine as well! A suggestion would be to reserve seats, otherwise you might not be able to find a seat. Expect to be seated with other people that enjoy music, get to know them and have a chat.

It was a great experience to locate this hidden bar. The ambience was chill and cosy. You need to make reservation to avoid sharing a table. The music that was playing was terrible as it was too loud and too much screaming. I personally do not feel much of a laid back and Japanese concept at that time. Other than that, it was great.

Honestly, my visit at Bar Neiro left me speechless. This is not only a bar. This is sensory self-care, when appreciated consciously. It’s not the typical bar next door, you’ll only find it on purpose. Reaching for the entrance itself is part of the journey. It’s a longer “way”, in the end you leave behind your day and dive into an isolated living room-like space. Go there and you’ll understand what I mean. At Bar Neiro it’s all about listening. Not music consumption but active listening. A phenomenal ex-movie-theatre sound system is filling the room with a never before experienced quality of sound. The bar staff is putting on selected vinyl playing them full length. The whole room is keeping hundreds of albums and records so chances are high, you will get new music to your ears every time you go. Great music paired with great drinks. The attention to detail and quality with the craft of cocktail making and the drinks itself are simply perfect. Even though for the moment there are just close to 10 cocktails and a couple of wines on the menu, nothing was missing. Also, ask for a good Japanese Whisky or Sake ;) On top of everything the service was very very warm, attentive and welcoming. You always have a water with you. Either having a good chat about music and drinks or giving just the right amount of space to be with the music only, they tactfully make the magic happen. Thanks to Jeff and Viktoria for a sensational night! See you soon!

If you are looking for a more aesthetic "non underground" experience in the capital, this is definitely a place to visit. Well hidden in the inner yard, behind iron doors and in an old building on an upper floor, this bar plays with a Japanese theme for the decor and the cocktail creations. Sometimes you can also catch a contemporary Japanese jazz track playing through design hifi speakers. 📻Almost psychedelic jazz of rare vinyls accompanied by a glass of a masterful gin fizz will carry you far from the present moment. 🙏 Thanks to the personnel running this place, I have truly enjoyed my experience. This was a nice start of the night, before going to Tresor, historical industrial techno club

This was the best bar in Berlin, that I've been to. Not for parties. But great for focusing on the atmosphere, music and the drink. Waiting for re-opening.

It's an experience in itself to get to the bar in the first place. Located rather secretly in the backyard of a backyard you have to ring 2 doorbells to get inside a house and get up to the bar. The interior, sound system, service and drinks itself are top notch. Very creative and accurately curated drinks menu, but they also prepare drink classics off the menu

Perfect way to wind down after a long day, with the nice quiet music and an atmosphere where everyone whispers to enjoy the vibe. It was easy enough to find, though with ringing a bell it's more intricate than most. Bartender speaks perfect English, so tourists feel very welcome. Great cocktails at a very affordable price (10-15€)

It's a lovely bar with delicious cocktails. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I will be back next time when in Berlin. Space is cosy and seating is limited so would recommend booking especially for groups of 3+ people
