"A local favorite since the 1990s, Bar Przystań is a straightforward fish-and-chips joint located right on the beach in Sopot. It’s always crowded, especially on weekends, with hungry visitors lining up to order cold beers, fisherman’s soup, and fried fillets of Baltic herring, flounder, cod, and more. After placing your order, you’ll receive an alarm tile that will buzz when your food is ready. At that point, head up to the counter, collect your meal, and make a beeline for the sand, then eat under the sun."

Ordered the fish soup, salmon tartare and cod with fries. Tartare and soup were amazing, cod and fries also very good. Lines do form naturally from the crowds around lunch time as this is right beside the beach front. Line went quickly overall, 15 min wait. Cold dishes get served instantly and warm dishes arrive via buzzer once finished

We enjoyed delicious dinner as a group of 5. We ordered different kinds of fish, each one cooked really well. Our group’s fav was the trout! The hash browns were phenomenal! The fish soup was a bit too salty. At the end we also ordered cake which was okay but not as good as the main dishes. Would definitely come again for fish!

Really cool place but be prepared to wait a while for your food and fight for a table. It’s a self service restaurant and you have to queue to order your food and the queue can be super long. In the end it’s worth the wait, the fish are fresh and really good. The vibe is perfect and lovely I highly recommend the fried squid and the halibut.

Busy inside, but you didn’t really feel it while waiting in the queue and for the order. Fresh and tasty food, plenty of sits to eat outside and inside with the Baltic Sea view. Highly recommended. 😌

Typical place with fresh fish. I ate fried cod with french fries. It was delicious. Place is crowded (winter) but for me it's only confirmation that the food is great. You don't wait too long for the dish.

Food is nice , ambience is very relaxing - once you manage to get your food . It can get crowded quickly .

Excellent fish soup. There is a side stand where you don’t need to wait for a table inside.

The fish soup here is delicious! I had to wait in a looong queue, but absolutely worth it for their soup. The fish and chips were not bad, but soup was my absolute favourite. The restaurant is close to the beach so good place to have your meal.

Yelp
The best bread I've ever had!! That includes bread from America, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, Greece, Africa, and South America! Hands down, best bread ever!!

Yelp
Fried fish on the beach is a Polish summer staple. It going to say this is the best you'll find or it's a life changing meal. It's about the experience and sometimes you just have to dive in and go to the tourist trap. Grab a piece of fried fish, fries, slaw and a cold beer and just relax! Your at the beach enjoy it!

Yelp
Fish and chips. It's delicious and you can't go wrong with fried foods. This place is always packed because who doesn't love fried seafood. Grab a beer and wait on line. The menu isn't in English, so do what I did. Go to the counter and say fish and chips. You won't be disappointed. My friend ordered the smoked salmon, which wasn't as healthy a serving as this. While good, she said she got the business on the price. Do like I did and get the fish and chips!

Yelp
Overpriced and meh. If you want to stand in a super long line amongst a bunch of rude people, just to be served mediocre food, this place is for you! More of a cafeteria than a restaurant. For these prices, I expect a table service, not a plastic tray with food slopped onto it. Want a beer with your dinner? Join another line. The employees seem to be overworked and exhausted, the fish soup I had was good, but nothing extraordinary . Bonus star for a take out container- a glass jar.

Yelp
This place is dire. I paid 57zl for 6 tiger prawns that were probably freshly caught a few months ago. The place is a haven for retired German tourists who flock there cos they have German menus. Only place advertised along the promenade for fish and chips. This place is an expensive sh-hole. We went to 3 other places along the promenade much much much better and NO reviews on yelp. One didn't have electricity which seems to be a common problem in PISled Poland. Even so there place was hands down better. I didn't see a single happy face in Bar Przystan - even the workers looked depressed. Really bad place even by low Polish standards this place should be avoided like the plague.

Yelp
Great reason to come here all the way from California. Fish soup is the best soup I have ever had. Believe me, I have been to a few places but , when I am in Poland, I must come here.

Yelp
Bar Przystan is a bar but more popular because of its fishrestaurant. The owners opened the place in the beginning of the 90ties next to the place where the local fishing boats would bring the fish to shore. Przystan serves all kinds of fresh (fried) fish. Enjoy walking the 1 1/2 km from the Sopot pier along the beach to the Przystan and back after a nive meal of fish and few beers.

Yelp
When I notice that i would travel to the north of the country, I could only think of one thing: FISH. My head was several days with the illusion of eating good fresh fish. Because I am a super fan of fish and seafood, and, I have to say that so far in the capital, I have not found any place that highlights :/ So I'd made some research into the "best places" or "the most famous" of the Tri-City, to eat fresh fish. In my opinion, Bar Przystań has the label of "the most famous", because I expected much more. I took cod soup, which I must say was very good; and as a main dish a baked cod, marinated with paprika powder??!!! :O buf ... I can think of a thousand better ways of cooking, but it was edible. I did not like the pressure of the queue while you're deciding what to eat. Thus it is very difficult to choose, and even more if you're a tourist (core business of the town). For the rest, the place was not bad, located right on the beach, and this really scores points!!

Yelp
The place was crowded so we had to queue for a few minutes. The lady taking orders was working at full speed and though she did not spare us a smile she was helpful and spoke english. Atmosphere was rushed and I couldn't relax completely - mind you, we were silly and ate inside..! The food was quite nice, my cod was a bit dry, though. Side salad was ok and potato pancakes were awesome. Pricing a bit on the higher side but still very cheap compared to scandinavian prices. Personally I prefer smaller restaurants. I would recommend the place to bigger groups.

Yelp
For starters, it doesn't look good - at all. Just another beach fish and chips place, the usual tourist trap. Crowded, wooden tables that could be a little cleaner - you get the idea. But. The food! It is just brilliant - the fish soup is tasty and contains a massive chunks of pure fish meat - in fact, several sorts of fish. Just brilliant. Be warned, though - just this soup is enough to stuff you like a turkey. Then the starters - all sort of pickled herrings, in double cream, tomato juice - you name it. Then the usual suspects - fried fish with chips. Ask for the fresh fish, not the frozen ones - and you are laughing. This place is just excellent.

Yelp
The food is incredibly tasty. Halibut with herbs and salmon were delicious. But the place is quite small and very crowded. At first it's unclear what to do there, because part of the restaurant is self-service and the other part is with menu. We traveled to Gdansk on Easter holidays, the weather was cold and rainy. So we had to stay inside the restaurant. But I must say we got lucky, well we were hungry and came there earlier so we could find free table. But in about 20 minutes (it was exactly the lunch time) there were huge front line and people were fighting for a place to eat. But I'm sure that when the weather is fine and it's a perfect sunny day with no wind you can enjoy this place. They have lots of tables outside. And one more thing: be ready to pay more than you probably expected because the prices in the menu are for 100 grams and the piece of fish that you will probably order definitely weighs more. So be attentive!

Yelp
Great food great location. On beach. Waits are alittle long but worth it. Mainly seafood.

Yelp
Very nice self-service cafeteria located about 15min walk from Molo Pier in Sobot for reasonable prices. Quite busy especially on weekends but very tasty and different types of fresh seafood. Lovely location for seating outside at the beach in the summer.
