Bar Riva

So they could really use some more fans in there to keep it cool in the summer. The food was good and the prices are reasonable. I did expect more attentive service, though. Our waitress was awesome, but appeared to be the only one working. The others (2 bar tenders and one other server) were mostly standing around. I have not experienced that at Disney before. The prices and food would certainly bring us back.

Great poolside bar. Not a lot of food options as this is poolside but but I must say what they have is top notch!! Service was great as well!!

This is right outside the Primo Piatto at Disney’s Riviera Resort. It has a stunningly well-done indoor/outdoor feel with beautiful paintings of the ocean on the walls. The service was excellent of course. We got chicken strips, which came with parmesan garlic / truffle aioli sauce and they were some of the best chicken strips I’ve probably ever had. I still think about them a year later.

The food here was amazing! The burger is great as well as the seasonal pizza! Would come back again for sure. Our server was great as well :)

Greek salad used to have artichoke. They no longer serve wings. Overall a nice dining experience. Outside dining. No AC. They serve the best burger on property imho. Brie in their burger. I prefer this to the burger at Whispering canyon at wilderness lodge.

Bar Riva at Disney's Riviera Resort is a small open-air bar / café on Walt Disney World. It's conveniently located across from the main pool area. The menu is well thought out and varied. Service was friendly. Atmosphere was casually fashionable. Highly recommended.

Such a great place! If you are resort hopping or staying at the Riviera resort at Disney world, I highly recommend stopping here. It is a super cute place, great location and even on a crazy hot day, there's still a nice breeze blowing through. We ate the chicken tenders and they were BY FAR, the best I've ever had. They are wonderful!!! The service was impeccable- all of the staff was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Bar Riva. Another jewel away from the Disney crowds... take the skyliner and enjoy a meal away from the rush. Grill and bar. Non-alcohol drinks are delicious. Something for every palate. Food items: Grilled chicken sandwich comes with roasted tomatoes, mozzarella, spinach-artichoke spread on a toasted focaccia. Yum. Great balance of flavors and the chicken is so good. The bread isn't cruncy toasted, so doesn't break apart when bitten. This comes with a choice of salad, fruit salad, or fries. Trying to be a little healthy, so chose the fruit. Burrata salad is fresh, yes fresh,  heirloom tomatoes, fresh pesto, and focassia bread. The burrata is so fresh too. Tomatoes are lightly salted... you'll not want to add any salt... it's great just as the chef prepared it. Ginger beer is just spicy enough for those who enjoy fresh ginger. Hibiscus coconut refresher. Delicious. Dessert: Classic Tiramisu. Yes, it was delicious, and light, and all sorts of yummy. But you may get a larger serving for the price at the France pavilion at Epcot. Still delicious though. We ate it slow to savor every bite. Enjoyed this meal while watching the sunset. Memory maker. Try it out early evening. Back for an update snack in Dec 2024!! While waiting on our baked briee and side of fruit, wife went upstairs to Le Petit Cafe for a peppermint latte. (Seasonal) Everything was light and delicious. John made a great recommendation! Thanks brother.

After a filling day of some tasty treats at the Epcot F&W festival, the wife and I called an audible and decided to have a low key dinner at Bar Riva. Excellent call on our part. It is the pool bar at the Riviera, but it is connected$ to the lobby and the quick service restaurant so it does not have that kitschy pool bar feel. There is plenty of seating at tables and the bar. Be prepared though, your drinks are in plastic cups because of the pool. We settled at the bar and had a couple of drinks, served by Alex(?) or maybe Amie? (I swear we saw her the next day when we got drinks for the pool and her name tag was different from the day before. Though being a young female bartender, I could see maybe wanting some mystery to the public) Anyway she was laid back as a server, let us enjoy our drinks while we decided on food. Great server. We started with the arancini, which were as good as advertised by others, and there were plenty for us to share. We follow up with the panzanella salad and the seasonal pizza. The pizza was great, the crust was obviously fresh, not frozen. And while I loved the lemon and ricotta, w3 did wish the broccolini was cooked a little more. The panzanella was fresh, though I am used to ones more tomato forward, as opposed to this one that had some fresh greens as well. Good dressing. A chill dinner and I am almost positive you can order from the quick service restaurant next door, they surely share the same kitchen.

Nice chill bar next to pools. Tom our server was great. Chicken grilled pasta Campanelle pasta with white volute sauce. Delicious. Signature burger and fries. Brie and black garlic aioli. Not really a fan of brie, I always forget that. High quality beef blend, cooked perfected. Very good burger next time will ask for different cheese. Provence Frose ciroc vodka and rose wine. After froses at Epcot I am hooked for life. They have a machine that is constantly churning. Cocktail menu has good choices. Cookie was burnt to a crisp, ninja could use as weapon. Our waiter does not make the cookies, he gave us Mickey bars.

We were staying at the Rivera Resort and walked down to try this Bar! The service was top notch! It always is at Disney properties. We really enjoyed this indoor outdoor seating. It was very beautiful. It's right next to one of the pools which was nice. We enjoyed our meals a lot. My husband loved his burger! The portions were HUGE. The drinks were very good as well. What a nice casual dining for this resort! Prices were reasonable as well. No DVC discounts unfortunately though!

Definitely the best pool bar I have been to at Disney. I had heard this place was great, so I decided to stop in with some friends. We took the Skyliner from Hollywood Studios here, and it didn't take very long to arrive. We were easily able to get seats at the bar, but later in our visit it got very crowded, so I would try to visit earlier in the day rather than later. We started out with the Cheese and Charcuterie, which was beautifully presented. We ran out of bread at one point, and our bartender happily brought us more without us even asking. I loved the selection of cheeses and fruits, and it was the perfect thing to share. To drink we all decided to get the Pineapple Mule. It was very refreshing and just strong enough. I was still hungry after that, so I decided to order the Grilled Vegetable Pita. The flavor was pretty good and the portion size was generous, but the pita fell apart almost immediately, so I had to eat the rest with a fork. I probably would not order this again. My husband ordered the cheese flatbread, which was pretty standard but did the job. I really enjoyed my visit here, and I would definitely stop by again if I were staying at a resort on the Skyliner. The hotel is very beautiful as well to walk around.

We stayed at the Riviera Resort and Bar Riva is conveniently located on the ground level by the pool area. It's a very lovely area that gives me Mediterranean vibes and service is friendly and efficient. I really liked my drink the strawberry daiquiri. It was the perfectly sweet refreshing drink I needed after lounging at the pool. My husband liked his pineapple mule. We ordered the cheese and charcuterie plate to share. They had other items that I was interested in but we were trying to save our appetites for dinner. The plate was just okay, I wouldn't get it again because we weren't a fan of certain cheeses on there. I have menu regrets and hope to try some of their other items if we ever come back.

I love the monte cristo here. I'm so glad they brought Monte cristo to Disney world as I've enjoyed it so many times whenever I'm at Disneyland. The sandwich is crispy and the jam is tart enough to cut through the richness. The interior is fresh and modern, kind of remind me of the restaurants I been to in Mykonos. The service is always good, as I would expect from Disney. The only thing is getting here is a bit of a pain as they don't allow you to park here if you're not not staying here at the resort.

I've been wanting to try the skillet cookie but this restaurant for a while now and I just got the chance to go and it was delicious. I love the cookie on its own, but the ice cream on top took it to a whole other level. I also really liked the sea salt. Next was the parm-garlic chicken tenders and it was tasty with the sauce and ranch on the side. The Greek salad was so refreshing with all the toppings, like the chickpeas and the bell peppers. I would recommend getting grilled chicken on the salad, it adds some protein to the dish.

Bar Riva is located at Disney Rivera Resort and is pretty much a pool bar. It is table service and located directly across from their pool. This is an open-air restaurant serving food and drinks as well as a walk-up bar. I want to like this place so bad, but it just is not that great. It's not good for drinks, but it is good for food. They have a few high-top tables, regular tables and then bar seats. It is not extremely large, and can get busy, but we have never had an issue finding a table. We have been here a few times and every time I have ordered different cocktails, and they are always terrible. They have specialty cocktails as well as a small selection of beer and wine. The last time we visited, my husband and I decided to just get a regular drink that any bartender should be able to make. I chose a lemon drop martini. First it was served in a plastic cup, it was extremely sour and actually very undrinkable. It was honestly like drinking straight lemon juice. My husband ordered a Manhattan. It was also served in plastic cup, it was not made correctly, and they did not use the correct cherries, they used Marracino. They both were also very small; I would say half the size of normal martinis. When our bill came, they also charged me $3 extra for a certain type of vodka. I was never asked and actually have NEVER been asked which vodka I wanted. They also use the house unless you specify. I was very upset that I was being charged extra for not even a higher priced vodka. My husband was asked which liquor he wanted in his drink and was charged $6 extra. So basically, his drink which was small and not good, cost about $20. We will not get drinks here again. Even though the drinks are terrible, the food is fantastic. We do actually really enjoy the food here. We have had a few different items on the menu, their menu has also been updated in the last few months. This last time, my husband ordered the Grilled Chicken Pasta which has Campanelle Pasta, Fennel, Sun-dried Tomato, Spinach, Capers, and Herbs tossed with Volute Sauce. He loved it. It was light and very tasty. It was not very sauce heavy, which is what he prefers. I went with their new Chicken Strips and chose the Parmesan-Garlic Sauce. These were fantastic! One of the best chicken strips I have had in Disney. They were crispy, crunchy and full of flavor. It was very garlicky and had big strips of parmesan cheese on top. We have also tried some of the appetizers in the past, such as the arancini and the baked brie. We have always enjoyed the food here. IN the future we will return, but we will not get a mixed drink. I would recommend just getting food, and then after head upstairs to Toppolino's (the restaurant at the top of the resort) and just get a drink there, they are much better! But if you are looking to get away from the parks or looking for a good lunch this is a great spot to come. It's worth checking out for the food.

One key detail to know about the Riviera resort's pool and Bar Riva--unlike the setup at the Boardwalk, the bar is not located within the fenced pool area. This design makes it more convenient for hotel guests and walk-ins, but less so for those relaxing by the pool. That said, they do have a dedicated server for poolside loungers, which was a relief, as this isn't clearly advertised anywhere. When I first arrived, I made the initial trip to the bar myself. Fortunately, about 30 minutes into my poolside lounging, a fantastic server named Tom showed up and took care of the rest. Lifesaver! The drinks are well-made but pricey. My tip: wait for the server and settle the tip at the end of your visit--it's far more convenient than tipping for each individual order at the bar. While I still lean toward preferring the Boardwalk setup, I have to admit--this place is definitely growing on me. Cheers!

Stopped in for an early dinner last night with my mom. I ordered the Mediterranean Salad which was $13.95 with chicken. Our server was Matt. He tried his best assisting all the tables but the restaurant here needs more servers. I also ordered a coke and it was $5. This bar and restaurant is right outside the gated pool area. They have burgers, salads and a vegan option. This restaurant is at Disney's Riviera Resort. 10/10 Definitely recommend

This is by far my favorite Disney pool bar! The food and drinks are so unique and absolutely fantastic! This time around, I sipped on the Il Tramonto, which has vodka, aperol, St. Germain, lemonade, turmeric, pomegranate, and orange. It was a fruity fragrant drink with floral notes. It was absolutely delicious! For food, we enjoyed the baked Brie and garlic parm chicken tenders. The Brie is always fantastic. Prepare to be surprised by the chickens tenders! They are so good and definitely not the basic nuggets you'd think! Service was good and you can't beat the pool side ambiance. We love this place.

Go just for the arancini they are amazing. The drinks...Disney is on a bitter. Aperol kick with their drinks right now. Finding a drink that was not bitter forward was rough. I got the Panzanella salad and sent it back it was covered in salt. But the arancini were what we talked about the rest of the trip.

Im sorry but how did I not know about this place? I am a travel agent and always distracted by Topolinos and have completely disregarded that there was an amazing bar and apps spot downstairs. WOW. I had a sangria (which was lovely and fresh) and all the apps I tried were super good. I had the baked brie and the arancini and both were fantastic. I am already dreaming about my next time coming and bringing my family with me.

Bar Riva, located at Disney Rivera Resort, is their pool bar but also a small restaurant with a small menu. It really serves as the resorts pool bar, as it is across from the main pool. You do not need to be staying here as it is outside the pool, so no room card access. We have come here a few times and where I do enjoy their food, their cocktails are not just good. I do not understand the hype with this spot for the drinks. This is a table service location, they have seats at the bar, tables and a walk-up area for just drinks. If you are looking for food, you will need to sit down, I don't believe you can get food to go, or I have just never seen anyone do that. It can get really busy at times, but we have usually had really good luck finding a table. My wife and I have been here a few times and have ordered different cocktails each time. Honestly, they are always terrible. For a pool bar, they just cannot make cocktails. This is a full-service bar, so they do have specialty cocktails, some beer, wine and can make different drinks. On our last visit, I chose to try just a Manhattan. I figured everyone can make it; it is a classic cocktail. My wife ordered her favorite cocktail, Lemon Drop Martini. My first issue is both of these drinks were served in a plastic cup. I understand this is a pool bar, but if we are sitting down and not leaving the restaurant, we should get a regular glass cup. My wife's lemon drop was so incredibly sour, her eyes were watering. It was really bad. My Manhattan was also very bad. It also sour, they used the wrong cherries, and it just was not good. My other major issue is these cocktails were incredibly small. It was probably not a normal size pour. My wife was not asked any specific vodka, she actually has never been asked this across Disney. I asked for a specific liquor which again I have had across Disney property. When our bill came, my wife was charged an extra $3 for a different vodka (again she was never asked) and I was charged $6. Her drink came out to $18 and mine $21. We didn't want to make a big deal or issue, but I truly feel if you are going to use a specific liquor to make a cocktail and you DO NOT ask the customer, then use the house liquor. A normal cocktail at Disney is around $14-$18 normally, and again she has had numerous Lemon Drop martinis around property. She has never been asked for a different vodka; it comes in the drink which is usually around $15. To be charged $19 for a TERRIBLE cocktail, unacceptable. I upgraded my liquor but again I have done that all over Disney. I have never been charged an extra $6. Again, to pay almost $21 for a TERRIBLE cocktail, unacceptable. Do better Bar Riva! We decided then, we will never get a cocktail here, beer or wine moving forward if we wanted a drink. The food here however, is actually really good, and the only reason it is getting a higher rating. We have had a few different items on the menu over our many visits here. However, their menu has also been updated in the last few months. On our last visit, I ordered the Grilled Chicken Pasta which has Campanelle Pasta, Fennel, Sun-dried Tomato, Spinach, Capers, and Herbs tossed with Volute Sauce. Oh. My. Word! All the food at Bar Riva was fantastic. I really loved the burger and garlic parm fries I got. Our kids all loved their food, too. I especially loved we could use our refillable mugs here! Our server was helpful and the staff here were all so friendly. I also love how the restaurant was open on most sides -- it made the vibe here so laidback and wonderful and had the perfect vacation feel! The food was high quality with a price that was super reasonable! If you're staying here I can't recommend it enough.

Stopped in here for a quick drink. Great open spot. Bartenders are great and can make you pretty much anything you want. Great spot to chill after a full day in the park

We're local and decided to walk to Disney resorts on a Sunday afternoon and found ourselves at the Rivera Resort bar. I tried one of their frozen cocktails, the frosé, and we had an order of the arancini for a snack. The frozé was typical and refreshing. The arancini was so tasty I forgot to get a photo first. Our order had 4 large pieces with a side of marinara to dip. The mushroom flavor wasn't overpowering and the cheese mixed through was nice and creamy. The bar service was great and the employees were so kind. It was the hotel pool bar without being in the pool gated area so many people came with walk up orders. It's located on the end of the building with a lot of seating and a nice breeze blowing through. We might find ourselves here again to try more dishes.

Bar Riva is the upscale cafe/bar at the Rivieria. It is located by the pool so you can do a quick grab and go. They also have a bar area and a small seating area. There is a small menu so don't expect a lot of options. The cookie skillet with ice cream had good flavor. The burrata salad was average at best. It is one of the only options at the Riveria so enjoy!

I found myself at Bar Riva while at the Riviera Resort waiting for my reservation at Topolino's Terrace. I thought a drink would be a good idea to unwind before dinner, so off we went. Bar Riva is technically a pool bar - it's located adjacent to the pool but has a covered space so you're not all out in the open. It's not a large space, but enough to hold a good amount of people who are at the pool. Color scheme is bright with mostly white walls and touches of blues. As we approached I noticed a few tables as well as the main bar that had seating - we made our way to the bar and started exploring the menu. There are typical bites as one would expect, and a few cocktails. The spiked iced tea was speaking to me, so I decided to go with that. The cocktail was good - it was kinda like a Long Island Iced Tea and had good flavor. The drinks were served in plastic cups which kinda took away from the experience, but it's a pool bar so it's kinda expected. Service was great, the bartender was really friendly and did a great job taking care of everyone despite being by himself. Overall, I had a fine experience at Bar Riva - this is by no means a destination spot, but if you're a resort guest by the pool it's a great place to grab a drink.

What a beautiful hidden gem of a restaurant. From the outside, it just looks like a regular poolside walk-up bar. That may be the case, as in you can order a beverage and bring it back to the pool but it's more than that. Extensive menu of food and beverages. This isn't your typical casual food spot with just chicken tenders, burgers and fries. I was really pleased with what they have to offer. It was our rest day and decided to check out different resorts. Riviera is such a classy, calm and relaxing place...would love to stay here some day. Looked at the menu prior to coming here and we had our heart set on the salmon with orzo. Wasn't expecting much but we definitely needed something on the healthy side since we've been eating "theme park foods" for the past few days. Wow!!! Pleasantly surprised. Salmon was cooked to our liking and the orzo complimented the dish really well. Portion was plentiful too. Definitely recommend.

This is a really cute place for drinks and quick bites right across from the pool! You can order to go as well as sit down and have table service. The workers were all really friendly! We tried the sticky wings and the mushroom arancini and enjoyed them both. The arancini came with a marinara dipping sauce that complemented them well. The wings were our favorite - they had a really tasty chipotle sauce that was finger-licking good! Would definitely come back to try out different drinks and bites.

Every time we have eaten here, the staff is fantastic. The food is delicious. Mary is an awesome person who works there. We so enjoy her personality and her attentiveness to the customers. Always good to see a fellow New Yorker. See you in a few weeks Mary.

Great food , terrible service. Even though it's spring break , They aren't crazy busy at all. 2 or 3 open tables when we got here. Told us to stand by an open table and they would be right over to clean it. 15 mins later - after no eye contact from anyone - even though the waitress walked past me a couple times, she finally cleaned it. We sat and then admittedly service improved. Got our drinks and apps in a reasonable time. Then again - nothing !! No one checked back, no one asked how things are or if we wanted another drink. (I did !!!!!) And now have sat for another 20 mins waiting for our bill. Again - food was really good , but what good is it if you can't have more ?? 1 star for service - 5 for food. Still waiting for the bill.

I've heard so much hype from Disney food bloggers that I finally gave it a try. I was in Epcot today and took they skyliner over to Riviera Resort. Bar Riva is an open-air pool bar. It was very welcoming and relaxing. The vibe alone is worth leaving the parks for a moment to unwind. I ordered the Il Tramonto and thought it was an excellent cocktail. The flavors are great and it wasn't too sweet. Based on the recommendation of one of my favorite food bloggers, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a side of fruit. I'm running Walt Disney World Marathon in a few weeks and my training strategy doesn't allow for any junk food between now and then so I thought this was a safe bet. The focaccia and the artichoke spinach spread were really fantastic. I loved all the flavors in this sandwich and it was a great deal for only $12.49. I would've loved the fries but I just can't right now. About an hour after I left Bar Riva, my stomach started really hurting. I'm not allergic or sensitive to any foods so I'm not sure what could've caused it. Maybe the roasted tomatoes? Regardless what it was, I'm in no rush to eat a sandwich again that made me sick to my stomach. There are some other menu items that looked great including the vegetable skewer and burrata salad. I'll have to try something else next time. This was a great stop on the skyline but from my experience today I would not go out of my way to eat here.

HOP ON THE SKYLINER FOR A NICE LUNCH AT THE RIVIERA RESORT We recently had a weekend lunch at Bar Riva, a casual dining spot at the Disney Riviera Resort. It is a Skyliner stop away from EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. We ordered the Burrata Salad with Chicken ($15.99 + $2 chicken), Greek Salad with Chicken ($11.49 + $2 chicken) and Baked Brie ($13.49). I enjoyed the Greek salad but is it a Greek salad if it is made with spring salad greens (and not Romaine)? The grilled chicken breast was tender and juicy. The salad was large enough to share. My friend enjoyed the Burrata Salad on an earlier occasion but said that this day's salad was not as good - bland watery tomatoes, less greens and less confit tomatoes (a favorite). The toasted focaccia was soggy from the tomatoes. I felt $18 was pricey for the meh salad. We agreed that the best dish was the Baked Brie - the cast iron pot kept the cheese hot and gooey and the bottom crispy. Too bad the toasted baguette slices were cold. Be prepared to wait for a seat - Bar Riva is a small place and is popular with resort and park guests. It is also a stop on the so-called Skyliner bar crawl. We got the last free table at 2 p.m. Our server said the cocktail crowd starts coming after 4 p.m.

I loved it so much I went back three times during my stay! I stopped the first time for a fast drink but when I saw their menu was actually pretty healthy I decided to enjoy a nice crisp amazing salad there instead of eating more of the "bad" options in the parks, one of the best Greek salads I have ever eaten . The staff is wonderful especially the bartender Ken who made it a point to make every person sitting at the bar feel like an old friend ! The drinks are well priced compared to some of the other bars drinks you also can't beat the open airy feel of the place ! I loved it!

We arrived and there were not tables available. Which tells me the place is a hit and food and beverage is good. So we ordered from the counter in hopes a table would open up which it did when we came to pick up our wings which were great. My issue with this place revolves around one server. She greeted us and told us " we serve our own food here when I told her we were fine and just wanted a couple waters for now and we're ok on drinks" now our food was from this same place and fully intended on getting another round of beverages cause of course that's the right thing to do because we were at her tables and didn't want her to go empty handed. But when she proceeded to tell me I could go to a fill station and get my own water. Nope that it I I'm done with interacting with you.

Great little bar with some signature poolside drinks. Roberto is a top notch server. Inside ambience is very special and sweet.

The Il Tramanto we got from Bar Riva was great! I love the vibes that we got from this place and the food was great too! Not bad place to stop by if you are hanging out at the Riveria

The ambiance is wonderful & the Brie cheese was SPECTACULAR. Best Brie cheese I've ever had, it was much bigger than anticipated even though it does come out & at first appearance it does seem on the smaller side. Good place to be on Disney property but away from the craziness of the mouse in a sophisticated feel.

For a poolside bar, this place is fcukin amazing!! 4 star restaurant quality food with an amazing bar and wine selection. Bartenders were super friendly and made one helluva drink.

Decent little bar. Good food and drinks. Expensive but you expect that at Disney. Margie is very good and friendly. Ruins the experience when there are multiple loud children running around and screaming as you try to enjoy all the good things this place has to offer. You expect more kids than usual at a Disney bar/restaurant but staff here seems unwilling or afraid to ever do anything to stop it from ruining the experience of other paying guests. A child kept going to the seat next to my wife, touching her purse but parents nor staff did anything to help the situation. Disappointing.

The service is great and quick. The drinks here are delicious!! Forewarning its a lil pricey but definitely worth it. Also has a very nice seating arrangement

Hidden gem. While staying at Rivera this week, we appreciate having an open air full service restaurant that you can "come as you are" swimsuit and all. This menu offers all the same as the quick service plus more. I really enjoyed the sticky chicken wings the most followed by spicy Italian sandwich. The grilled chicken sandwich can be a skip (not much flavor). They also offer refreshing draft beer in up-to 22oz, a huge upgrade from the Epcot sizes. Just want an adult bev? No problem, there's a walk up order to bring back those drinks to the pool.

The atmosphere of this open air bar was wonderful. Its located right by the pool and near the lobby. We purchased drinks and then took them over near the water to enjoy the view. The service was fantastic as they have a little walk up area for to go drinks. There were plenty of options to choose from on their drink menu, we didn't look at the food.

What a gem- I was able to order a delicious Aperol spritzer and eat a veggie skewer all while dining Al fresco at the bar. It was quiet enough to enjoy the night but the bar itself was lively. The bartender was fantastic. If you're in the riviera area, you must visit!

Bar Riva is an open-air pool bar located inside Disney's Riviera Resort at Walt Disney World. The bar and the resort both opened in December 2019. The bar is most well known for their Mediterranean-inspired cocktails and light cuisine. It is conveniently located next to the Riviera Pool: the main pool at the resort. My wife and I visited Bar Riva while we were on an East Coast Road Trip. We had just had brunch at the resort's signature restaurant (Topolino's Terrace) along with our son and some friends of ours. Afterwards we explored the rest of the resort and made our way to Bar Riva. The atmosphere and the art on the walls reminded my wife and I of when we visited Italy's Cinque Terre on our honeymoon. After looking over their cocktail menu, we decided to order some frozen drinks. My wife had the "Provence Frosé" (a frozen delight of Cîroc Vodka and Provence Rosé Wine) and I had the "Patriotic Wave" (frozen blend of Cîroc Vodka, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto Liqueur, Pineapple, and Agave with Bols Blue Curaçao Liqueur and Hibiscus). The drinks were as refreshing as they were colorful. We enjoyed them as we rode the Skyliner which is situated right next to the resort. We would definitely stop by Bar Riva again!

We absolutely adore Bar Riva...to the point where even if we are not staying at the Riviera Resort we will still come here to grab a cocktail and have a relaxing evening. The set-up is pretty straight forward as this location does allow you to order grab and go style from the bar or has some limited seating options that are available as first come first serve. We typically end up at the table in the front corner, closest to where you enter closest from the resort style. Long, bench-style seating is available that runs the length of the wall and has charger stations built in so you can boost your battery life. If you grab one of these seating areas a server comes by to take care of all of your beverage and food needs. So far as beverage and food needs, Bar Riva offers a full bar as well as specialty cocktails/mixed drinks, bottled and canned beer, and some great local craft beers on draft along with the standards you'll find anywhere. I tend to opt for the local craft, often deciding on whatever local IPA they are offering. Food menu is somewhat limited but if you're in a pinch, it'll provide. The baked brie is quite a filling, shareable item if that's your thing and if not, who ever says no to a basket of fries? Pro tip: if you're there at closing time (or have opted to close down the bar) grab a last-call drink to go and walk down towards the lagoon with it. Enjoy the evening air and your fresh beverage in one of the rocking chairs under the night sky. It's the perfect night-cap, I promise.

Not your average Disney pool bar! Located directly next to Primo Piatto (Riviera's quick service restaurant) Bar Riva is everything I have ever wished for a Disney "pool bar" to be. While under cover, the bar and its seating were open air and facing the main feature pool. Even with precautions in place and tables distanced there was still ample seating either at a table, the bar, or at any of the tables located at the entrance (which were likewise, under cover). During our stay we tried several of the drinks and they were all great and a decent pour. We were sad to see the the Monte Cristo is temporarily unavailable but the Baked Brie off the Bar Favorites menu and the Spicy Italian Sandwich were delicious! We look forward to our next stay at Riviera to be able to enjoy the rest of the menu!

Great place to hang out and let the rain pass on our skyliner tour. The drinks were tasty. There was an abundance of servers, and everyone was friendly.

My group visited this bar at the urging of a friend and I truly was not excited to go. When you hear the word "pool bar" you think crowded and uncomfortable, just feet away from screaming splashing children. However, this bar is a bit set back from the pool area and boasts some very nice, quiet views of the pool and skyliner. At a resort that quite honestly is not my favorite, they got it right at this bar. The atmosphere is very European beachy and modern. I really liked the decor, especially the gorgeous mural on the main wall displaying the Italian coastline. It has a few fun details included, like a Disney cruise line ship and the Riviera resort itself painted tucked away on the far right. I also really appreciated the heat lamps they had on the ceiling. It was a bit chilly when we went but these warmed the space to a very cozy temperature. They also had an array of unique cocktails at the bar here. Typically, when you've been to one Disney pool bar, you've been to them all. It's the same sickeningly sweet Pina colada, frosé, and sangria over and over again. But at Bar Riva it definitely seems like they took the time to create some special new drinks for this location with a fun French/Italian twist. Don't worry, you can still get those sweet drinks if that's what you're into! We didn't stop here for food but the large group next to us got a few plates and it smelled and looked amazing. Yet another pleasant surprise from this place. As always with any Disney experience, the staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. We had a few picky people in our group requesting some changes to the menu items and our server was happy to oblige. She even handed us a few extra coasters as little souvenirs to take home.

For a pool bar, the food here is really excellent. The menu is a bit small, but all of the food we got we great! I'm not sure if you can eat shrimp pasta during the pool day, but if you're looking for a quick dinner arrangement with great food - that pasta is key! I really loved the monte crisco, it's been a long time since I've had one, and this was great. I was worried about it being too heavy, but it was lightly fried but still full of flavor. I was hoping for a bit more punch with the dipping sauce, but it wasn't really needed, since the sandwich came with so much flavor. Personally, I loved the salad - it was perfect for the pool day. Easy, light dressing, enough protein and a nice mix of veggies. It's a win.

My husband and I stumbled upon Bar Riva before visiting to go to Toppolinos and boy, are we glad we did! This is one of our "go-to" bars when we're visiting Disney! It's just a quick sky liner trip over from Epcot (which is where we're usually at), or you can have no problem parking (if you have a reservation). They have a bunch of specialty cocktails, and I've never had a bad experience with a drink I didn't like! It's not a huge menu, but their sticky wings are so good! They're served with a chipotle agrodolce and truffle aioli...YUM! Recently, I tried the grilled vegetable skewer and I LOVED it. A vegetarians dream with tasty grilled vegetables flavored beautifully, a plant based cucumber yogurt, quinoa salad, all served with a huge grilled pita (aka it's basically a veggie gyro but fancy)! Finish the night off with a cocktail to go, and head up to the rooftop terrace to watch the fireworks (they even stream the music)! Great job Disney - we love this bar and will absolutely be visiting again, and again!

Love this place. Great vibe and nice food and drink offerings. It is a great fit for the Riviera resort. You can grab a drink and take it back to the pool or you can have a nice lunch and watch a game on their screens. The cast members/ bartenders are very attentative and most have been there a long time and they really make spending time there enjoyable. In my opinion it is the best pool bar on property.

Cool little bar at the resort that's conveniently located near the pool with a full bar. Great blended drink options and also mixed drinks. Lines can get a little long and can be a bit more organized, but kinda what you expect from a bar. Prices a bit high but the norm for a place that's owned by Disney. Overall cool place and worth getting drinks from.

Decent bar and snack options for beverages and light dining. Try the sticky wings (which are sticky). Prices are about a average for Disney resorts.

This was delicious!!! ALL OF IT, the sangria, the beer, the chicken wings. This is a perfect place to get a bite during CoVid, it is outdoors and open. We ordered on the phone and our food was ready in less than 10 minutes. Fresh, flavorful and filling.

Please bring back the sticky wings!!! It was the best item and the reason we consistently made it a point to visit here multiple times each week we vacation in Disney!

Bekah, Chris, and Edwin were wonderful and attentive while we had a specialty cocktail called Il Tramanto (sunset in Italian). The wings are fantastic as well! Can't wait to go back to this relaxing pool bar!
