Three stars because the ambiance is lovely and our server was excellent. He was clearly spread thin but remained professional, attentive, and gracious throughout our visit.
I don’t expect every non-vegan, celebrity-led kitchen to fully cater to vegans, but in a hotel setting, especially at breakfast, thoughtful plant-based options should be a baseline rather than an afterthought. Unfortunately, the menu felt surprisingly uninspired. The only viable choices were an avocado toast with honey (not vegan) and a raisin oatmeal, which came across as minimal effort rather than intentional design. For a chef of this caliber, I expected more creativity and consideration.
The hash browns were well-seasoned but gummy on the inside, likely due to being cut too large to cook evenly, and maintain quality.
Additionally, a cortado was listed on the menu, but what was served was a macchiato. Our server confirmed this is what they consider a cortado, which felt misleading and disappointing at this level of dining.
