You have to really like rosemary to eat here. The chicken wings are not recommended not seasoned. The tuna tartare is amazing and the pizza was good but garlic is needed. I would return the food isn’t great burgers were a fail taste like oil and water. Chicken sandwich is frozen chicken cooked twice tastes like water.

I went for Saturday morning brunch and we were the only table so you think we’d have excellent service right? Wrong! The waiters were busy watching soccer on the tv and we waited 30 minutes until I got fed up and had to call them over to order. Then, the food took another 30 minutes to arrive. Mind you, it was a table of 4 people and we were the only people in the whole restaurant. It was a whole hour from sitting down to getting food which is ridiculous when you have full wait staff and cooks. I got the breakfast pizza and it was sad, just a singular egg and some spinach that honestly tasted expired. My friends at least liked their food. After all this, they overcharged me $25 for the pizza when it should have been $19. I’m not interested in going back after this. The only positive is that the ambience was nice while I chatted with my friends for an hour waiting to eat but the experience ruined it for us. Go at your own risk.

Food: The food was really just ok. Nothing really amazed me and some of the food was very unseasoned. Their lobster ravioli and shrimp was also very lack luster and only gave one shrimp that was chopped up. If you want to get food I would just get the appetizers and skip the main courses. However, the drinks were great so I would definitely go back to grab a cocktail. Service: Our waitress was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Ambiance: It's very standard but they do have a cute patio area and large windows that open up which is nice. Overall: I wouldn't be running back here but if I'm in the area and want to grab a nice cocktail and some appetizers then I would consider them.

Google
Great food, even better drinks. We sat outside. There was live music playing inside, that we could hear because of the large open entryway but there was also music playing on the speakers outside - wish the restaurant chose to play one or the other. Food was great, the orecchiette was very spicy but yummy. We started with the calamari which was fantastic. I got the champagne poetry drink - amazing! And my friend had the blackberry whiskey sour. The foam tasted like candy and he was a huge fan of the drink. Service was slow and inattentive. Our waiter didn’t seem to know a lot about the menu. Otherwise, a good meal and will definitely go back.

Google
I went to brunch not expecting much, as it is a known happy hour spot that attracts younger crowds and usually pretty busy. Well, I finally went today and I’m mad for not going to this place sooner!!! Brunch food was fantastic, steak and eggs on the brunch menu is actually the most succulent steak I’ve ever had and can’t beat that price. The wait staff, manager, even the cooks are so friendly. Eggnog espresso martini says seasonal but practically available all year round. One of the best martinis I’ve had! I’ll be back ALOT. If you see a 6 ft black female solo at the bar, that’s just me living my best life.

Google
I had pistachio & caramelized onions Pizza the flavor was amazing, my cocktail was delicious. Sister had pizza with vegetables she said was delicious. Calamari was cooked well. The waiter was friendly & service was good

Google
The Avocado salad (not on the brunch menu) was spectacular! The best thing I’ve ever had. The brunch burger was pretty basic and bland. The fries were something to pass on. The mimosas were good, although I felt like they could refill a little more frequently. I imagine that the normal lunch or dinner menu might be great since the salad was so good.

Google
I went for brunch with my siblings and I’ll say 5 stars for everything. Except maybe the metal tables outside in the sun haha but the brunch menu is stacked with options. I might not recommend the coffee but everyone loved their flavored margaritas! The avocado toast is huge, The frittata is very flavorful, The breakfast pizza was fire, and the French toast is a must have for the table to share

Yelp
Disappointed by the Food and Experience We had dinner here recently and left disappointed. We ordered the only steak on the menu, requested medium well, but it came out well done and very dry. The iced tea didn't even taste like iced tea, so I sent it back. The waiter said he would let the manager know about both issues -- but no one ever followed up or came to our table. The special was also poorly explained -- I thought I was getting branzino, but wasn't told it came with fried mashed potatoes. I was expecting a lighter, healthier dish. The interior is very dark and feels a bit gloomy. The outdoor patio is okay, but the presence of smoking guests nearby really affected the experience. Smoking should be restricted to across the street. Overall, the food was mediocre and the service was just okay. Not sure I'd come back.

Yelp
Nice outside patio, good food, and strong drinks' Service felt rushed which is somewhat expected during happy hour, but the restaurant wasn't overly busy. Our waiter came to the table and said, "put your food in now because I won't be back for another hour," which was off-putting. Needless to say, we decided to finish our drink/apps and headed to a different spot.

Yelp
Met up with some coworkers for happy hour deals. Would have gave more stars but my party was disappointed our waiter wasn't very attentive, although he was accommodating with making sure my drinks were garnished nicely, they were not satisfied, because they bought a few things with no warning that it wasn't part of happy hour. I'm not sure when the first people from our party sat down, if they told him more people would be joining, because he wasn't very alert with catering. I tried their Margherita and hot honey pepperoni pizza. I feel like the spicy level was only a hint, it tasted more sweet than hot. The cheese had a nice pull. Both pizzas had a great crispy texture. I ordered short rib tacos drizzled with spicy aioli, I dumped the whole chimi sauce on it. It was so juicy with a nice kick, I wasn't disappointed. To drink I had the flavorful elderberry garden with butterfly garden gin, lemon, and grand marnier. It was garnished with an edible flower. I also had an Aperol Spritz proceso. It would have had a bolder taste if I let the rosemary sprig marinate more, but I had to chug it down because I was in a rush to go home. There are some good deals on that happy hour menu. My food and drinks were good and our orders came out quick. My coworker complained many of the portions were small. I would come again with someone else but suggest we sit at the bar and make sure they are alert of the happy menu items; my coworkers confirmed they rather not come back.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour. Drinks were good. Food was good. There was no one inside the restaurant just me and my party weight. Staff was very attentive. Could never go wrong with happy hour food and the service was quick. Spent about 2 1/2 hours there and it was a very good time. I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Enjoyed my dinner at Bar Rosso! The inside is full of high tops, large bar seating and regular dining tables. Have to pay for parking across the street but there were plenty of spots when I went on a Saturday night. The portion of the penne vodka and chicken parm was generous and the sauce was flavorful. The service was a little slow and drinks are pricey but overall a nice dining experience.

Yelp
This restaurant exceeded my expectations in all aspects. We had a Retirement Cocktail Party at Bar Rosso, and the food was simply outstanding! Every dish was made with fresh ingredients, everything tasted so delicious that it was hard to stop eating!! But what truly made the event special was the staff, Erika Mikoshi and her team were incredibly attentive and friendly. Planning the event with Erika made it such a pleasant experience. I will be recommending Bar Rosso to everyone I know!!!

Sarah R.

Yelp
Food and atmosphere is stellar. Service was attentive and kind. Diego is a star manager. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
Cute restaurant in downtown Stamford with lots around. Cocktail menu was unique, with lots of fun options. I really enjoyed the Champagne Poetry drink. We shared mozzarella fritta and truffle fries as apps. The mozzarella bites didn't have a lot of flavor, but the spicy marinara helped. Truffle fries looked fresh and tasted good. The spaghetti was pretty tasty. Restaurant had a weird smell to it (like hard boiled eggs), but staff was friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable as well. Would love to try their pasta flight if I visit in the future!

Yelp
I went to Bar Taco yesterday and had the best Margaritas made by Tommy the bar tender! My dad was visiting from Florida and my boyfriend and I brought him to Bar Taco! We had a great time! Tommy was very nice and served us great drinks! Thank you again!

Yelp
Loved sitting on the patio for a Saturday dinner after a movie at the Avon. Service was very good and the patio was lively. Started with Brussels Sprouts which were lightly fried and well-seasoned. The portion size was large. Entrees were the Pappardelle al Funghi for me. It was excellent and brought some home. My wife was not thrilled with her Fettuccini Primavera. It was bland-a bit more seasoning would have been great.

Yelp
The ambiance is nice but we realized soon after we arrived why there weren't many customers eating there. It was mostly a bar crowd. We sat upstairs and were the only ones there and service was very slow. We ordered a Cesar salad and two pizzas. The Cesar came out fairly quickly and was huge but very dry and we didn't finish it. We waited at least another 45 minutes for our pizzas to come out and when they did, they were undercooked and barely eatable. We had to send them back and when we got them back 15 minutes later, the crust was burnt and still barely eatable. We didn't finish them. We complained about the pizzas and the long wait but we knew the waiter from another place he worked at so we paid the bill but we will never go back there again! Terrible!

Yelp
So, 50% off Sunday wine night was a pleasant surprise, and the octopus appetizer was absolutely amazing. The Brussel sprouts were good, but everything else we ordered had zero seasoning...it was shockingly dull. Avoid the short ribs Marsala (definitely not made with authentic Marsala wine...was some sort of sweet broth) and the stuffed chicken, which was recommended by the server!?!? This is supposed to be an Italian restaurant, and even the bread was flavorless! Would be a 1* on food if not for the octopus.

Yelp
The Stamford downtown is always amazing with its busy bars and restaurants. In the midst of everything, this Italian place is the perfect spot for a date night or a friends meet up. I totally loved the ambience. For appetizers, we ordered the crispy calamari with my modelo. Then we were in the mood for pizza. The pepperoni was classic and freshly baked. The pistachio is a delicious combination of goat cheese, caramelized onions, honey and pistachio crushed and spread around the pizza. Absolutely loved it. The parking situation can be quite tricky like any other place around the area. Luckily, this place has a limited curbside parking and 5$ parking lot right opposite the restaurant.

Yelp
More like 2.5 stars. I had higher hopes for Bar Rosso. They have a really nice brunch menu in addition to their regular menu. I came with another couple and we ordered from both and everything was just...off. First, during Sunday brunch they didn't have any Bloody Mary's. Okay fine, I had an aperol spritz instead and tbh it was the best part of the meal. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese "panini" and it was the furthest thing from a panini. It was a tiny little sandwich on toasted bread. It was...not good. My friend ordered the short rib tacos and she was disappointed. The spicy salami pizza was fine. We also had the truffle fries and Brussels sprouts. Both were soggy. The side of bacon was way over-cooked. The fried artichoke appetizer was one of the best dishes. As for the service, our server was brand new so she didn't know the menu yet. Drinks were served after food (big pet peeve), one drink was forgotten, I had to ask for a straw twice. What's nice is the outdoor setup. It's definitely cute and if you have a dog or just love dogs, they're dog-friendly. Inside is louder than a club on a Saturday night. Not my vibe, outside is way better. My recommendation is stick to the basics: pizza and pasta.

Yelp
Food quality has gone down over the years. The price does not match the quality and I was disappointed with my almost everything I ordered. I ordered the Caesar salad (stale croutons), lobster ravioli (tasted fishy but sauce was yummy), oysters (good), and the bolognese (pasta was not cooked correctly and sauce needed some love and seasoning). The service was great, I'm definitely adding another star for them. Attentive and quick to fulfill any needs we had. Ambiance ranges depending on when you go. Great for brunch, a quiet dinner, or drinks when they have a guest DJ. Overall the service and ambiance is great, I would probably spend my money there for brunch or happy hour. But I would not recommend it for their lunch/dinner menu.

Yelp
Recently hosted a 30 person karaoke party at this space and it was an absolute blast! Their team helped every step of the way from planning, to tech setup, to serving the party - phenomenal service through and through! The private room is a great space to host events and the food is excellent. They were even able to make billing a breeze; no need to chase guests for payments - saved us such a headache! Special thanks to Diego, Erika and Enzo - you guys rock!! Looking forward to booking this space agHighly recommend!

Yelp
I've been pretty lucky with my restaurant choices. We passed this place several times and in spite of the pandemic it always look like everyone was having a good time. I wanted to join in on the fun so we came here one day for dinner and drinks. The Lobster Risotto was on the daily special and it was delicious. A nice blend of lobster chunks with cherry tomatoes. I also ordered the shrimp scampi pizza and you can smell all of the spices as the waiter was bringing it to the table. It taste just as good as it looked. For my cocktail I tried the barrel select margarita and the blood orange margarita. Both of the drinks were good but the blood orange had that extra kick. The restaurant was in compliance and was following the CDC guidelines and that's always a plus during this pandemic. The wait staff was awesome and answered any questions that we had. I will definitely come back again.

Yelp
Sunday brunch at Bar Rosso once again after a few years of sporadic visits through Covid times. The frittata was great, my date had the chicken and waffles. We both really enjoyed the food, our server Remi was great. She was on top of the bottomless mimosa refills, and was very personable. The only reason for the four star review is unfortunately while we were there we had a difficult time enjoying it because there was a group of men right behind our table watching soccer who were being very rude, changing the television channels , yelling really loud, using a lot of profanity, they were obnoxious. Most of the people in the restaurant were put off by them. They were bumping into our table, and tripping over our feet going back and forth to the bar to complain about the television channel. Management should have stepped in at some point. We would have stayed later, but we just wanted to get out of there after we ate because of the noise. We felt bad because there was an anniversary party going on upstairs, if I had paid to rent out the upstairs space for an event I would be upset that there was so much yelling and profanity during my event with the open floor plan.

Yelp
Mother's Day brunch today at BarRooso. Bartenders were fabulous, food excellent, & live band played Sinatra & Tony Bennet hits. Me and my granddaughter actually got up and danced. Thanks for making my Mother's Day special

Yelp
Please please don't come here. Your better off getting a sandwich deli. Firstly, they served me Chef Boyardee Zuppe (soup) that tasted straight out the can, I almost threw up. They served me salty octopus and salty penne ala vodka. I couldn't eat anything and my plates were all pretty much untouched. My waiter saw it and totally didn't care and still charged my table about $150 for $16 worth of food being ate which was the Margherita Pizza (it was ok). The food was all served cold and seemed as though it was sitting out for some time which is shocking because it took a while to get to us. Please don't come to this establishment. I don't eat at restaurants that have "bar" in its title because it usually signifies that they serve and specialize in bar finger foods and man did I make a mistake coming here. What a way to start the New Year.

Yelp
Bar Rosso did not disappoint. Service was excellent, the ambience of the place warm and friendly and the location perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Stamford CT. Their menu is not a pile up of several foods but a selection of good variety . I recommend their awesome chicken involtini, truffle fries and don't leave the place without trying their pannacotta drizzled with blueberry sauce!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was actually good but I got food poisoning from eating the calamari. The worst thing that can happen especially because the restaurant looked quite fancy.

Yelp
Rarely do you find a spot that combines all elements to make perfection. Stand-out quality is hard to find, and to have this right in Stamford Downtown through Bar Rosso is such a treat! I get very excited at the prospect of coming here because of the: ---Fantastic atmosphere - the place is enormous, wide open, and with a beautiful! design! New, fresh, spectacular, top floor seating overlooking the restaurant and outdoors, just glamorous in its own way ---An everything, diverse, and creative menu where you can pick from all sorts of dishes and, anything you choose, and each ingredient is cooked to perfection and made to taste splendidly! The pumpkin spice white Russian was delicious and the pesto thin-crust pasta was sooo tasty, as is the crepe! -- Excellent service that is courteous and respectful, without being overbearing or pushy, like most restaurants in the area. The staff are pleasant and there for essentials only, and they leave customers to enjoy their time in peace. Owners, management, and staff team -- keep doing what you're doing because it's working and takes Bar Rosso to a level of its own in the area. I happily await the chance to come here again.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the portion size for takeout. The pasta was good, but for $23 (no added protein, just penne ala vodka, and I walked to pickup the order) I expected a much fuller container.
google avatar

Yelp
I've only been twice so far, but both experiences have been positive. Good carpaccio (a lot going on with it but tasty), ok drinks, good wine list (although one of the times we visited all of the prices were listed wrong for bottles) Salad to go was great the first time I ordered takeout. Perfectly cooked salmon, friendly service. Ordered the same salad another time and the salmon didn't come out quite as well. Need to check out more menu items since they're so close to me.

Yelp
I rest my case for my review. Lost a star after the Business Manager responded that they do actually charge you $3 for adding lime or soda to your margarita. I am sure adding ice is included with that upcharge.

Yelp
I came here last night for Stamford Restaurant Weeks last night and ate off of that selective menu. There was truly something for everyone. For apps, we devoured the watermelon cape was and the meatballs. Both were delightful. I chose the burger for my entree which had mushrooms, prosciutto, and balsamic aioli. My boyfriend and I agree it was the best burger we have EVER eaten. The bun may throw you off at first but it makes perfect sense for the sandwich. For dessert, we got both the Panna Cotta which was shockingly tasteful and the Zeppoles which were great and also a huge portion size. For restaurant week, you are getting a great deal. Drinks can raise your bill a bit so keep that in mind. Staff was great and knowledgeable. Very attentive as well. I can't wait to come back here soon.

Yelp
WOW. This place is amazing. My friend suggested it for girls night and I am TOTALLY coming back. Had to make sure to come onto yelp and leave a good review: Service: WOW. Their service is absolutely fantastic. Our waiter was super kind and very helpful. If we needed anything, we got it right away, and I mean literally in less than a minute. I never felt that attended. Food: As appetizers, we ordered the calamari and Brussels sprouts (forgot to take pictures) but HIGHLY recommend. Calamari was crispy, Brussel sprouts were flavored very well. For my course I ordered the Pappardelle pasta. WOW was it fantastic. I had all my friends try some of my plate and they all agreed it was top 5. My friend who isn't a huge white sauce kind of person even agreed. It's a little heavy, but I WILL be coming back for this pasta. Drinks: Fantastic. I love the variation. We ordered margaritas, this cocktail drink with a popsicle, and frose. Regular priced drinks, worth the money. Parking: We parked across the street in a parking lot for $5. I'm sure you can look around for street parking but we couldn't find any. COVID: All the waiters and staff were wearing masks. We sat outside and felt perfectly fine and safe. Tables were at a good distance. You're allowed to take your mask off when seated. I think they're handling it well. Conclusion: Great place, good atmosphere, great food, great service, will be coming back

Yelp
Stopped in for happy hour and had a decent time. The liqour prices aren't that big of a break from normal, and the food specials are on the smaller side, but the ambiance is wonderful and the bartenders are friendly. The building itself is in a great location and is very pretty. The interior is spacious and updated, perfect for corporate get togethers. Stop in!

Yelp
Came for a pre-birthday brunch and was waiting on a few more guests to come. In the meantime, my friend and I felt "rushed" because those from our party were running late so it was just she and I sitting at a table of 6 and not ordering anything. We get a cocktail (really good!), shots, and a platter (also good!), but again, I think the people who work there thought the other guests were not going to come in. They constantly kept "checking in" on us, which was annoying. When my other guests did arrive, we all ordered bottomless, which I definitely will say was worth the experience! I had their bottomless rose sangria and they were strong and yummy. We were also able to switch to different bottomless drinks. I requested them to play a different genre of music and they did that! Though the service could've been better in the beginning, I would go back.

Yelp
We had a great time here for brunch. Stamford/Fairfield County lacks seriously in the service aspect of dining, but not at Bar Rosso. Easily the most attentive, friendly, efficient staff we have seen around here. We constantly had enough water, food, drink; they cleared our dirty plates before serving the next course; and our waitress was always close by. In addition, the hostess was so wonderful - not leaving our table until we were sitting/situated, and explaining everything to us (where the restroom was, when to wear a mask) before the waitress even came by. Super impressive; other restaurants should take note. The drinks here are AMAZING and innovative. The cider margarita with the cranberry ice cube actually rocked my world. The blood orange marg was also delicious. The drinks are inventive and delicious. Finally, the food! Amazing - we went for brunch and everything was incredible (eggs Benedict, breakfast pizza, short rib panini.) We also got the chicken wings as an app, which were really good. Best of all, while enforcing excellent COVID precautions, Bar Rosso has that fun vibe we all miss - it's upbeat in here. People are laughing, smiling and enjoying themselves. It feels good. Absolutely come here - we can't wait to check it out for dinner.

Yelp
BRUNCH!! On a whim a friend came up from NYC last month to check out the Stamford 'Hood and I had heard Bar Rosso was a good brunch spot, so we chanced it and LOVED IT! Bottomless mimosa/bellinis were perfect on this warm Autumn day. Food was delicious (so much I forgot to take pics). Ambience was friendly and filled with energy (great crowd even in COVID socially distancing spacing) and the DJ was off the hook! Wear your mask and keep 6' away but do go and enjoy the last few days of Fall at this great local brunch place.

Yelp
I went on a brunch date here on Sunday for Father's Day and I can honestly say this place is probably one of my new personal favorites. It has a high end atmosphere while still being casual enough to enjoy. The wait staff was spectacular, our waiter came and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. Drinks were also well made, I had the frozen mudslide and my girlfriend had the bottomless mimosas. The presentation of the mudslide makes it look a lot sweeter than it actually is, which is perfect for me. And the mimosas were made well, not too much juice and a nice champagne left for a day with no morning hangover! My food was good, I had the brunch burger, but the real star of the show was the Eggs Benedict Pizza. Please believe me when I say the extra dollar is worth it! I only have two things I say could be changed. Everything was fantastic, but the price definitely shows it. It's absolutely worth it and I may just be cheep, but just a little pricey. The hostess throwing me off. Personally I think the hostess should be better dressed than the patrons, as well as the rest of the staff. Overall a good time!

Yelp
I tried their Burrata which has been one of my fav apps lately, they added pomegranate seeds, candied walnuts and a balsamic glaze I also tried their avocado toast which was amazing I would definitely recommend to all the avocado toast lovers! one of my fav things to have for brunch is chicken and waffles weren't my cup of tea. The place is beautiful, the staff was very attentive and friendly. I can't wait to go back and try more of their food.

Devine D.

Yelp
This service was terrible. I went there for brunch for a birthday party and they rushed us for our "unlimited mimosas " and then wanted to tell us half way through to slow down because we're asking for them too often after we finished each one. Once I was told to slow down after we were all on our 6th one and not feeling a ounce of drunk wanted to speak to the manager because accounting her l we were going too fast. I spoke to her and as we weren't taking about what she told her server to tell us she threw her employee under the bust and blame her for everything. How do you not work as a team at a restaurant and not care for your servers. 0/10 recommend. Don't go!!

Yelp
Fantastic spot, nice ambiance, we sat at a high top table by the bar. Our server Erica was awesome, very professional and attentive while still being personable. We had the tagliatelle and the NY strip both were cooked to perfection. Will def be back soon!

Yelp
First time coming here for brunch. Was so excited to try the breakfast pizza with prosciutto and my boyfriend ordered a burger. We got there right when it opened and we were hungry! We ordered ice coffees and they came right away. We sat outside and there was a nice ambience. We were waiting patiently for our meals and continued having our conversation. Half hour, 40 minutes, we are like ok, what is going on? I asked our waiter, if they were any updates on our order or what and he said that since I ordered a pizza..they had to wait until the oven heats up which takes about 40 minutes. So it's my fault that I ordered a breakfast pizza?! Shouldn't they have someone heating up the ovens when they first open the doors or at least inform the customers. I couldn't believe! Then we finally get our food and guess what?! Mine is missing the main ingredient..the star of the show..the prosciutto! Come on...what is going on! So, I tell the waiter and he says are you sure there is suppose to be prosciutto? Like, yea, hello..I'm sure that's why I ordered it!! It's just a plain pizza with egg on top without it! So then he comes back after "checking" and says that they are out of prosciutto. Out of prosciutto in the morning?!!! Come on..I really wanted to like this place but sheesh. I don't think I would recommend this place to any hungry people that's for sure or anyone wanting something specific that they ordered.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the atmosphere the waitress and the drinks + food. The happy hour was amazing, all you could drink Margaritas, wine and mimosas for a very cheap price. Wonder if they still serve the same drinks for the same FIXED price. Worth going...may go there later today myself with wife. Cheers

Found this little gem in Stamford,CT. Great chef tasting menu for Valentines Day - delish! Say by the door so was a little chilly at times but overall great place!

Yelp
The service is terrific here. Food is some of the best I ever had and it is always fresh. Servers and kitchen staff pay attention to all the small details. Their antipasto is wonderful and a great value for what you receive. The food is made with care and they pride themselves on presentation too!!! A+++ rating!!!

Yelp
Bar Rosso. More like bar No-so. My family decided to make reservations for Sunday brunch here after having a decent brunch here. We walk in and there's a DJ playing LOUD house music at 11:30 am - Who wants to hear club music on a Sunday morning during brunch?? Our experience was already off to a bad start. We were seated upstairs, and our drink orders weren't taken for ~20 minutes! After placing our drink orders, we got our drinks about 15 minutes later. 35 minutes into our family Sunday brunch all we had was cold bread and drinks. My parents ordered iced tea- the iced tea was warm with not a single ice cube! After finally placing our order about 45 minutes after being seated (skipped appetizer because we were so hungry), we finally received our food. Unfortunately, the food was as bad as the service! For starters- $19 steak and eggs. COLD. Didn't even bother having them make a new order because after an hour in to painfully loud and obnoxious music and horrible service, we were ready to get out of that place. Then, my sisters Egg order was wrong. Received bacon instead of sausage. When they replaced her bacon with sausage, it was burnt to a crisp. Have you ever cooked in a coal fire barbecue? That's what the sausage looked like. Only giving this place 2 stars because we didn't have to pay for the cold steak and eggs. Needless to say, we won't be back. Bad service, cold food, below diner quality sides, and 7.50 for 2 seltzers? Won't be back. And again, if you want to listen to loud club music while trying to cure a hangover with brunch food, come here. You're the only person who will enjoy it.

Yelp
Been here twice to eat and once for drinks only. They had a dj on a Thursday night and he was really good playing a good mix of music.. shots and drinks were made well. The first time I ate here I had the pulled tacos appetizer and they were amazing. The tiramisu was delicious as well. I recently had one of their specials (spinach ravioli in pomedoro sauce) and it was way too garlicky to eat .. I sent it back and got a salad, which I wasn't feeling either. They took both those items off the bill and comped our table a round of shots. They have good wine here too.

Yelp
Wow! The service was excellent food was great and dessert was just outstanding I've never been to Stamford to eat until today and this place was truly outstanding. They just kept coming back with more mimosas without hesitation during my time here at brunch. I had the tuna tartar to start followed by the English muffin bunch option then to kick it off the crème brûlée cheesecake! If you're ever in the area I would definitely check this place out!

Yelp
Sat at the bar, two women. Waiting for service. Random dude walks up to the bar to my immediate left, he gets served first. Another random dude walks up next to him, he's served before us again. I walk out. How rude.

Yelp
I was originally going to Volta for lunch but it was a super-hot day and my friends didn't want to sit outside (the inside of Volta is nothing special). Bar Rosso is right next door and none of us had ever been so we went there instead. We were so surprised when we walked in. This place is pretty big and it has such a nice ambiance. It's warm and laid back with a trendy vibe. We had amazing service- our waitress Kamila (or maybe Camilla) was GREAT. The food blew us away- everything was so good. We ordered garlic bread, truffle fries, fried mozzarella balls, bruschetta, crispy Brussel sprouts, crispy calamari, arugula salad and drinks. Those were the best truffle fries I've ever had and the mozzarella balls were delicious. No complaints what so ever. I wish I found this place sooner!! They have happy hour from 4-7:00pm on weekdays- you cannot beat that! Sunday's, they have 50% off bottles under $100 and a great wine list. This is my kind of restaurant! I will definitely be back.
