Our wagon driver, Marin, was a delightfully talented young woman. She was a positively cheerful and entertaining, as well as informative driver. We learned a lot about the horse teams, especially our Belgian Draft Horses, Lone & Ranger. She also told us about some of the local fauna, especially the choke berries and how they have produced so well this year in the Bridger Teton Forest that it has attracted a lot of black bears to the area. It was fun riding in the covered wagon to the cowboy dinner and show. The covered open air Pavillion was nicely heated and had many red and white che Meredith tablecloth covered picnic tables with old fashioned enameled porcelain salt and pepper shakers along with horseshoe designed napkins holders. It was an all you can eat dinner of roast beef in gravy, chicken breast in bbq sauce, corn, special recipe baked beans, salad with ranch dressing, dinner roll & butter. They also had a cowboy cookie dessert and offered, lemonade, water, coffee and hot chocolate. The food and drink were awesome! The show was entertaining and we found out that our driver, Marin, could sing and play the guitar. Her brother, Harim, is a very talented fiddler, who could play while moving around, even getting on top of one of the picnic tables! As if he wasn't already looking to be one of the most awesome fiddlers we have seen, he upped his game and played the fiddle behind his back. We enjoyed our time with Bar-T-5. This is a great experience for a date, a family or a group. All ages would enjoy this activity.
