In Palermo, Secrets and Stories Await Around Every Corner

"Bar Timi, located in a piazza around the corner from the Palazzo Gangi, is run by the burly proprietor Liborio. The bar serves local wines like a white wine from the slopes of Mount Etna, offering a typical Sicilian experience."

Cute little spot in the centre , we came here for breakfast! Simple menu but everything is so delicious! After our walk we came back to try the famous negroni! And definitely didn't dissapoint! Went down too easy! Timi is a lovely smiley guy, we had a good chat! Great service, we will definitely be back

I have eaten and drank here for breakfast lunch and dinner on different occasions and it was amazing every time! The ingredients are fresh from the owners farm; the coffee and wine selection is excellent. You must order the parmigiana and bake my day plate. The breakfast croissants and granola is also delicious for breakfast!

Best Negroni I‘ve ever had! Well balanced, not too strong nor to sweet/bitter. Great work! The caponata and parmigiana were incredible. Highly recommend!

One of the most delicious Aperol Spritz I’ve had in Palermo, the parmigiana and the lasagna were ducking NICE and absolutely delicious, I’ve honestly never had anything like that before. YOU REALLY NEED TO TRY! And of course, the service it was AMAZING that makes all the difference, thank you for that.

The owner of this local bar challenged me in a very unusual way. He asked me to recall the best Negroni I had ever had in my life, the place and the time. After a short pause, I gave him my answer. He then invited me to try his Negroni, with the promise that if I agreed it was as good (or even better), I would write him a review and give 5 stars. Well… let’s just say the fact that you’re reading this review should tell you everything about the outcome. Absolutely perfect Negroni, balanced, elegant, unforgettable. If you’re a Negroni lover (or simply appreciate a bar with personality and heart), this place is a must-visit. I hope I’d get a free round after this review :)

Very empathic owner. I was offered to try their olive oil, almond cream, pistachio cream and mandarin marmalade that is produced in their own farm. I had a nice little talk with the owner. I didn’t see any menus, but you can ask what they offer. I had an ice orange juice, and ice latte, which seems to be very rare in south of Italy. Limited seats indoor. There is AC!

I just had a magical moment tasting the best Negroni of my life. Wow. The lasagna, stracciatella cheese and everything else we had was spectacular. We bought a jar of olives to take home because they were so delicious. 10/10 and beyond.

Hands down it was the best Negroni I have ever had. The pistachio crème that is made by the owner is literally life changing. We will absolutely return on our next visit. This place is by far one of the best places to come in all of Palermo! Edit: purchased some olives to bring back to the hotel but they didn’t last until the next bat because we ate them already. Seriously SO good
