BAR TOKYO

Extremely talented bartenders do an impressive job crafting amazing drinks. Small atmosphere that is just perfect and quiet. Small cover charge that is 100% worth it.

Random find while strolling through Tokyo. An absolute gem! Super nice, cosy atmosphere with nice, subtle jazz music playing, fantastic bar tenders, and excellent selection of liquor, of course.

Nice atmosphere but ridiculously overpriced. 4000JPY per cocktail with cover charge 🤯 Wandered in off the street and there’s no way to know how much things cost since there’s no menu, but this is the most expensive bar I’ve ever seen even having spent a lot of time in pricey cities (Tokyo, NYC, SF…). A not particularly strong martini isn’t worth that eye-popping price.

Cool, old school vibe. Note that there is a 1,500 yen cover charge. A cover charge is normal in Japan, but it’s usually in the 500 yen range so this was quite high. Expect to pay $15/drink (2,500 yen/drink). I didn’t feel welcome as a foreigner, but it was hard to tell if it was judgment or if they didn’t feel comfortable speaking English.

This place sucks they apparently close 2 hours early even though they have customers. Trash don’t recommend

ちょっと小雨が降ってきて自分は傘を持っていない。おいしいお酒と雨宿りも兼ねて入っていました。 入ってみて周りを眺め、いい感じのお店であると自分の幸運で喜びました（雨宿りがキッカケでいいお店を見つけたかな？と）笑 初めにコンソメスープ・バーはバーコートでキッカリしているという所からまずそう思いましたね。 コンソメスープを飲んだ後、オクトモア14.2とジャックローズ。 1件前ではオクトモア13.2を飲んだばかりなのに。。。超贅沢笑 また行きたいと思います。

分厚い扉を開けると素晴らしい空間が広がっているバーです。ゆっくり飲めますよ。高いけど。

店員さんの対応はすごく良かったです。 ただ、ウイスキーのロック１杯（丁寧に作ってくれました）と付け出しのスープ、オリーブの漬物で、4500円は驚きました。ちょっといいウイスキーを知らないまま注文したのかも知れません。先に金額の確認が必要なお店です。
