Bar Torpedo

I think bar Torpedo is not about only the food and its taste but about the experience you get, the main thing of that place is the atmosphere, that you enjoy with a very tasty food and drink. The bravas are probably a must to take, the bravas sauce is delicious. For the burger I don’t think you can go wrong with any them, tho the chicken one was very tasty. To go with your food you have a great choice of wine. (Don’t skip the dessert)

We came for the pastrami sandwich but we actually liked more the lamb ribs sandwich 💗 seems like it is coming from heaven. I do recommend to get some natural cava wine as an appetizer 👅 The sandwiches are not too big, so it is perfect if you are in the mood of having a small bite to eat.. **

The interiors of Bar Torpedo are beautiful with marble table tops and forest green tiles — perfect location and cold A/C inside. I do have to say that the “patatas bravas” had way too much dip and it overpowered the fries. The hamburger was a 7, I normally like something crunchy and fresh in every bite. Fresh lettuce, onion and tomato, or pickles would have been really nice. We got really good and friendly service.

We came because we heard that the sandwiches are really good, so we thought we could give it a try. We tried the melted patty and the "costilla" ribs sandwiches with fries. They were indeed pretty good. (I liked the one with ribs more) On the downside, i found it a bit pricey, considering that they aren't coming with fries, and we had to pay extra for ketchup and also extra again for mayo. The fries were mediocre, at least i felt they weren't fresh, most likely frozen ones. (Sorry if im mistaken) The atmosphere was nice, i might return but most likely not to eat.

I've often heard that the burgers here are the best. The service was great and quite fast. We had a classic burger, which was good; the bun was really soft and delicious. However, the patty lacked salt, but overall, it was really good and juicy. It is a bit expensive though—12 euros for just a burger, with no salad or fries included.

The patty melt is absolutely delicious! The fresh, crusty bread along with the beef is what set it apart. Their croquettes weren’t that good though. They lack significant taste.

Overall good place to stop for a bite, and friendly service who really tried to help with the language barrier. The patatas bravas were good and the pastrami sandwich was tasty with a nice rich flavour and vinegary salsa to cut through. I would say that the meat (tongue) was a little tougher than I'd like, and when the hot sandwich cooled with the cheese it was harder work than it should have been. Nice to stop for a drink and a snack.
