Everything was excellent. The pride here is evident in both service and food. The service was exceptional and kind, I was especially grateful for the handwritten menu translation. The food was also delicious, with very respectable value and portion sizes. We were especially impressed with the homemade crème brûlée! This was possibly the best either of us have ever had. Highly recommended.

Very very tasty food and a warm welcome with great service! All the recommendations from the staff were excellent. You have the choice between south Tirol and Italian dishes Both from Antipasti, Primi and Secondi. Also the wine recommendations were good.

Such a lovely spot! It feels like dining in someone’s living room. The service is incredibly warm and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was excellent—no complaints at all. We also tried the Prosecco, Americano, and red wine with our main dishes, and everything was great. At one point, the lights went out, but it actually added to the fun—people turned on their phone lights, clapped, and enjoyed the moment. They had it fixed within a minute or so. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I’d definitely come back. Just make sure you book it in advance, it was full on a random Tuesday night.

Well cooked mittle-Europa nosh. Rustic and authentic. Loved it. If you're calorie counting, maybe steer clear of the cheese based dishes, the quantity is abundant. Tasted great. Will go again.

Delicious food, traditional including some local Italian cuisine. We were in the children’s store across from the restaurant and were highly recommended it as home cooking when asking for a lunchtime restaurant on Friday , Merano market day . Was recommended to make a reservation and this was obviously needed as the small place filled up . Authentic well executed food including a Tyrol goulash with dumplings and my wife’s ravioli proudly made by the female server and owner .

Nice restaurant with good Italian food. Pasta and serve were great. The empty plates in the end says it all 😂

Finding authentic Italian (and South Tyrolian) food in Meran is not easy, especially if you want something that's a bit less touristic than the average restaurant, which you would find on one of the main streets. Luckily we found this little gem of a restaurant which is operated by a small family, with the "mama" in firm control 🤗 Our first attempt to get a table was in vain because the place is kind of small and the reputation is obviously not a secret anymore - it is packed from the first minute they open (7 pm) until the close. So, a reservation is definitely in order! We ended up eating there twice within three days and were super happy with everything we had. Between the five of us we tried most meals on the (small) handwritten menu... Bruschetta, Focachia, pasta Carbonara, Bolognese, Ravioli, Gulasch, Tiramisu, cake... Everything was freshly homemade and you could taste it. Mama and her daughter took good care of us and made sure we could barely walk when we left (because we ate too much) 😂 The open wine was good enough to have with dinner. The value for money here is the best I found in Meran. I cannot recommend this little family business more!
