Such a lovely spot! It feels like dining in someone’s living room. The service is incredibly warm and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was excellent—no complaints at all. We also tried the Prosecco, Americano, and red wine with our main dishes, and everything was great. At one point, the lights went out, but it actually added to the fun—people turned on their phone lights, clapped, and enjoyed the moment. They had it fixed within a minute or so. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I’d definitely come back. Just make sure you book it in advance, it was full on a random Tuesday night.

Very very tasty food and a warm welcome with great service! All the recommendations from the staff were excellent. You have the choice between south Tirol and Italian dishes Both from Antipasti, Primi and Secondi. Also the wine recommendations were good.

Finding authentic Italian (and South Tyrolian) food in Meran is not easy, especially if you want something that's a bit less touristic than the average restaurant, which you would find on one of the main streets. Luckily we found this little gem of a restaurant which is operated by a small family, with the "mama" in firm control 🤗 Our first attempt to get a table was in vain because the place is kind of small and the reputation is obviously not a secret anymore - it is packed from the first minute they open (7 pm) until the close. So, a reservation is definitely in order! We ended up eating there twice within three days and were super happy with everything we had. Between the five of us we tried most meals on the (small) handwritten menu... Bruschetta, Focachia, pasta Carbonara, Bolognese, Ravioli, Gulasch, Tiramisu, cake... Everything was freshly homemade and you could taste it. Mama and her daughter took good care of us and made sure we could barely walk when we left (because we ate too much) 😂 The open wine was good enough to have with dinner. The value for money here is the best I found in Meran. I cannot recommend this little family business more!

One of the best restos bistrots in Italy. Excellent food, extreme conviviality, we felt like being part of a family. I would recommend 1500% this place.

One of the best Restaurants in Meran. It is a local restaurant, don't expect a fancy touristic style, but the food is delicious. On the menu you find south tyrolian dishes as well as standard Italien food - no pizza. You can sit outside in the street or inside, with a possibility to watch the chef in his kitchen. The service is excellent. The chef's wife and his daughter do everything to fulfill your wishes. Follow their recommendation and share, to try as much as possible. Reserve early, they are no free tables between 7 and 9 p.m..

Excellent home made fare at a very reasonable price. The Lasagna is great. We had appetizer, main meals, water, 1/2l wine, coperto (breads), desserts, caffe and sambuca for 47euros.
