We were searching for a spot to find a quick drink prior to dinner and we found so much more with Bar UK. Eiji’s bar and story made for our favorite stop in Japan. Pay close attention to the artwork on the walls. The art form is mind blowing when looking at the intricate detail. With over 800 bottles of whiskey from around the world and an expertly crafted cocktail menu, it would be hard to go wrong. Read through the guest book and you’ll find stores of those who sat in the barstool before you. This is a must stop in Osaka. Thanks again for your hospitality, Eiji.

Incredible bar. This place specialises in whiskies and other spirits. I was blown away by the cocktails (I came with my parents who are whisky and gin drinkers). Our bar tender, Eiji, was very humble and kind. He was knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this place if you want to try Japanese cocktails, whiskies and other spirits in Osaka! If you are not sure how to get here, make sure you go down the stairs!

Eiji the owner was the sweetest and most knowledgeable person about rare ad common whiskeys from all over the world. His small bar was filled with so many amazing finds. Prices are incredibly reasonable. Definitely worth stopping in and hearing about his life. This is everything that is really good about Osaka.

Eiji made us feel so at home at his cozy pub near Osaka Station. So sweet and welcoming, along with an incredible selection of whiskys. This is a must-visit if you’re looking for a cozy drink and a good conversation.

Eiji san makes the best cocktails! I had one with sazerac and it was so good. He also kindly let me video his very unique and cozy shop. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Osaka.

This is whiskey heaven. The owner was an incredibly kind, helpful and interesting human. Retired at opened the bar which was his dream. He's been collecting whiskeys for nearly 30 years and has some wonderful expressions. Go for a dramm or 3, sit, talk and listen. It's more like a 6 star place for me. Only 10 seats, but worth it if you can go.

I really don’t know where to begin, I started my search on google maps looking for a bar to remember for my partner and i’s first trip to Japan. I read about Bar Uk and knew it was going to be a hit! With the most impressive selection of whiskey and spirits any person can ask for! An atmosphere so creative and inspiring through the stories from the wonderful owner Eiji, it made me feel super special and delighted to be apart of! The drinks are so well priced and our conversations with Eiji are something I’ll treasure forever! There’s a toilet on site, a smoking area and a lovely large cocktail menu, each having a description for easy decision making! But don’t fret if you are lost Eiji is the most welcoming and knowledgeable man and is more than willing to help source the right drink for you! A portion of lovely nuts to accompany your beverage was a generous touch! If you are able to fit in an hour or so to check out Bar UK you will not be disappointed!
