Bar Vera Bistro & Wine Bar

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bar Vera Bali, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, striking the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. The staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring every detail was taken care of. The food was a true highlight, with each dish crafted to perfection, showcasing a brilliant harmony of flavors. The cocktails were equally impressive, expertly mixed and beautifully presented. The team’s professionalism and genuine hospitality made the evening unforgettable. I would highly recommend Bar Vera to anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience in Bali.

The food is sooo good and also the cocktail. I ask recommendation from the bartender, I said : sweet, fresh, not too strong… and voila… i love it, but i forgot what’s its name i think it’s “Tiger..” something

Had a lovely dinner (last minute) at Bar Vera, we didn't have a reservation, but the staff greeted us kindly and found us a place to sit quickly. Even though the venue is open plan it was comfortable inside. We tried mostly smaller plates to share from the menu. The red snapper tartare was the stand-out dish for me, fresh, perfectly diced (maybe your chefs can train my apprentice to dice a perfect 5mm brunoise?) The pork Jowel was also lovely. Cocktails were excellent. The new dirty martini was incredible, so dangerously balanced and certainly worth a try. Good selection of wine by the glass & decent by the bottle list of curated wines heavily french focused with some good Italian ones in there. Pedro Ximenez was amazing as well, just needs a mini dark chocolate cookie to go with it 🤩 The visit from the neighbourhood pug was also cute. 🤣 This venue is a little more on the pricey side, although it is still pretty reasonable in my opinion considering the level of service, food & beverage you're receiving. My only recommendation is to perhaps space out dishes a little better if people are doing more sharing plates. It feels a little rushed having 8 plates delivered at once.

To be fair, I think they are more to offer for dinner, but I couldn't make it and then lunch. Menu : very limited for glutenfree and vegetarian. I had this beetroot salad, nothing special. It's what you can easily guess for the taste. My husband had angus beef burger. Good meat but not medium. Fries - no need to make it too complicated. It's more like hash browns. Soaked too much oil. Not good. Cocktails: the first on the menu - something with 75, I thought it's like french 75, but it isn't and very very sweet. Too much honey shrubs. And the one with jenever also kinda like bramble but not the best. Very sweet. Service: mediocre. I found the servers in general ok. But I don't like that they aren't very informed about the dishes and slow. But they are quick to take our dishes away while i was still munching my last bits. I think dinner would be better.

The service here is fantastic, and the interior is beautiful. I'm really enjoying the music, atmosphere, and color scheme of the restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the risotto! I also appreciated that the staff advised me about possibly over-ordering since I was dining alone, which saved me from wasting food. Most places wouldn't do that and would just let you order more. Kudos to the management for training the staff so well! If there's one area for improvement, it would be the menu design, particularly the food menu. While there’s a great variety of dishes, the layout isn't very clear, making it hard to know exactly what I’m ordering. Other than that, the overall experience was good, and I’ll definitely be back.

I had an unforgettable New Year’s Eve dinner at Bar Vera! The atmosphere was fantastic, with a great vibe and a cool playlist that set the perfect tone for the evening. The food was absolutely amazing. The potato bread was the perfect start, and the cuttlefish and wagyu tartare were both bursting with flavor. The highlight of the night was the lobster agnolotti, it was cooked to perfection and truly exceeded my expectations. The service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful, making the entire dining experience seamless and enjoyable. Bar Vera is a must visit for anyone looking for top notch food, amazing service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

One of the best places I’ve ever been to fr. So so well cooked, beautifully served. Lovely staff as well. High quality ingredients. You can feel how they put their soul into things they do here. Thank you.

Amazing food, cuttlefish was incredible, duck juicy and skin crispy, my favourite dish was Hokkaido scallops with polenta, great vibe, big wine selection, if you are in Canggu you need visit this restaurant!
