Bar Vera exceeded all expectations from the moment we stepped in. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. Whether you’re here for a casual meal or a special evening, the menu truly celebrates quality ingredients and culinary finesse. What really set the experience apart was the staff. They were incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely helpful without ever being intrusive. You can feel that they take pride in their service, making each guest feel welcomed and well cared for. The ambience was also a lovely surprise; stylish yet cozy, with just the right balance of energy and intimacy. The new lunch concept at Bar Vera is absolutely amazing! Cafe Vera has truly become a must-visit spot in the Pererenan area. I had the Caesar Salad and the Cacao Nana — both were incredibly delicious! Everything was served with such care and warmth, and the staff were wonderfully attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. I left with a happy heart and a full belly — definitely recommending this gem to anyone visiting the area! ❤️✨

Staffs tend to wait for all the dishes to be ready before serving them altogether. It’ll be nicer if they had served whichever dish that was ready to the table first so we could enjoy it when it’s still warm. There were some hits and misses dishes.. Desserts were really great here !

This is my second time visiting Bar Vera. Wonderful vibes with wide range of mains and small bites. Steak (lack of taste) and tacos (soaky and I find the combination of filling is weird) are disappointing. Other than these two dishes, i think other dishes that we ordered are above average. Verdicts: I’m impressed with their burrata salad on top of zucchini and fries (they are not ordinary version of fries, give it a try!). It’s a perfect place to enjoy food and drinks with a group of friends/ with your date.

Bar Vera never misses. From perfectly crafted drinks to consistently delicious food, everything is delivered with care and style. The vibe is just right, relaxed but vibrant, and it’s clear the team knows what they’re doing. Always a pleasure to stop by. Highly recommend!

Had it once last year with my partner, and we simply had to visit again while back in Bali this time! Sure enough, food was top-notch once again, along with the ambience and service. Literally loved all dishes that we had ordered, we couldn’t even rank them because they were all good enough to be 1 🤣

Wow! Bar Vera...what an experience! I am a foodie who loves all the unique & exotic flavours we have in tropical Australia so the bar was set high before I even sat down. I attended the Sunday Brunch degustation and it was exquisite from the first bite. I have to say that potato bread normally wouldn't register for me, but it was so delicious we ordered another as it was the perfect accompaniment to the savoury capsicum, pomegranate dip. Next came the sea bass tartare in kefir...OH MY GOD! Blow your mind delicious with an intense basil oil accompanied by the zing of kefir. Then the burrata with gazpacho hit the table and it was every woman for herself as our spoons fought for the last remnants of the exquisite flavour pairing. This dish was devoured so quickly I wasn't able to get a photo, but trust me...it was beyond delicious. Having only eaten Halibut once before in Alaska, I was curious to see if it would measure up and did it ever! The Halibut was swimming in a superb leek veloute with savoury hints of caper and the toastiness of pine nut...YUM! Even the dainty sides of peas and zucchini along with a gourmet hash brown to accompany the main were beautifully presented. We delayed the clearing of our table each time as we weren't ready to part with the inspiring flavour pairings as we tried to decipher all the elements and enjoy every last mouthful. Lastly, we finished with petite fours and a mascarpone cake swimming in coffee sauce. The petite fours were an intricate flavour bomb of sensory trickery while the mascarpone cake was decadently rich and divine. I was so blown away by the calibre of the food, I asked to meet the young chef responsible so we could sing his praises directly. An unforgettable experience I highly recommend. Wish I could eat it all over again.

Definitely among the more pricey dinner options in Canggu but worth it! The whole evening was an experience itself. Amazing service and great food! Also loved the cocktails especially the dirty martini!
