Barahi Thakali Kitchen & Restaurant Pokhara

The food is of reasonable quality. The green sauce in the thali wasn't hot. The rest of the food was lukewarm and didn't seem fresh. The potatoes and vegetables were cold. Cold and lukewarm food can lead to more bacteria. The staff was friendly and unobtrusive.

First of all ,I have seen the review and thought it was the right place to eat so me and my friend went there to eat dinner!! It takes 1 hour for them to prepare a food for us and also the food was very smelly and not a good quality. (Honestly!! I think all the reviews are fake and given by themself !!) Staff are also not polite because when the other guest complains about there food they start arguing with them, which means they really don’t care about the customers. When we asked them to give another poppadom cause they gave us a soaky poppadom instead of crunchy one then they said it’s finished ! What is the point to open a restaurant when they can’t prepare a proper meal??? They even don’t use a fresh things for the guests. Not only us feels the same !! There were others guest also who are complaining the same thing. 1:no fresh food 2:uncooked meals 3:bad smells in there pork dishes. 4:unhygienic plates 5:very mean staff members. I will never be back again there and also told my friends about the experience we had here ,can’t believe lots of them also feel the same. Waste of money ,waste of time . So so disappointing. Need to improve a lot. ❌❌NOT RECOMMENDED ❌❌

It feels very disappointed !! I was the old and regular customer there from the beginning.but the thing is every next time i went there the quality is decreasing repeatedly which i don’t think is good for the customers. The last time when i was there ,there is a bad smell in their food so we returned it, but they didn’t feel any sorry about it. Even they add that on the bill . And the staffs who work there is very rude and ignorant. Such a shameful thing to do with the customers. So ! From now onwards i will never recommend any of my friends and family to face that issue here . Highly not recommend to anyone else.

Very bad thakali, service they took 1 hr to deliver food, they donot accept their faults , according to them customer's taste is bad.. never ever going their and never recommending others too

The Thakali Khana Set was absolutely delicious—flavorful, well-balanced, and authentic.
