Cool concept. Great ambience.Our server was amazing with a great personality, very entertaining. The gin and tonic was good. Food was lacking flavor compared to the Indian flavors we are used to, but was filling. Naan was really good, as were the samosas. The dipping sauce for the wings had good flavor. Butter chicken was very tomato base forward without much other noticeable flavor and the Dahl was a little over salted.

Quite possibly the most delicious brunch place in Paris! The food was a really flavourful, delicious spin on typical brunch foods.The drinks were SO cute with 3D latte art (and delicious too) Staff were so welcoming, attentive & polite (not always easy to find in Paris 😉) We absolutely love the concept of the restaurant, it feels like you are in a train going through India. All the details were thought out carefully and it’s a great spot! We will be back!

Superb concept, amazing and super friendly service and great food and drinks. Awesome ambiance and concept as well. The seats are exactly like the ones on Indian trains (“berths”). The menu cards are awesome looking, the names of all the drinks are cool and funny too. I saw this place recommended on a youtube video in America and I am so glad I visited this place! Recommend this place, and i specially love the tandoori chicken.

This place is AMAZING! Great atmosphere, nice staff, good cocktails but the best part was the food. Make sure to try the mouthwatering garlic naan, the heavenly tender butter chicken and the delicious calamari.

This place is awesome! The ambience is great, the music is catchy and the staff is so nice! We had a few cocktails, every single one was delicious! The samosas were tasty! The garlic naan was so soft! The lamb dish was so flavorful and the chicken tikka was exceptional! Highly recommend this place!

Deff a new favorite in Paris! The concept and decor is super cool, the food is amazing and the cocktails are to die.. i’m not usually a rum or whiskey person but i tried 2 drinks with rum & whiskey and they were 🤤🤤🤤🤤 the staff is also super nicee, overall 100% would recommend this place ❤️ deff coming back

I went there with Friend's and family who were visiting Paris and It was a great experience , The cocktails we had was just amazing and the food was so tasty 😋, I would recommend this place, a bit hard to find it as its just at the corner of the street not very obvious to see straightaway. David was top , welcoming customers from the reception outside to the table and checking the all experience till the end that was also fantastic and in term of value wise or money wise its worth it to eat there not that expensive for Tourists in Paris.

Bar is located through a hidden door in the restaurant. The cocktails here are really great. Loved the lamb skewers too. Was not too keen on the chicken curry as it was pretty bland for my taste.

Creative cocktails, a friendly service and a nice ambiance. We enjoyed the food. However I thought the portions were a bit small. The meals were not accompanied with rice, therefore you need to order some naans. Well ventilated, the nice smell of spices did not stick to my clothing. Definitely will come back!

Baranaan is by far my favorite bar in Paris. It's gotten so 'bad' that I don't even fancy going to any other bar these days. Thankfully, my friends share my opinion. Here are some reasons why: - The cocktails. They are nothing short of amazing! I must have tried about every cocktail on the menu now, and there is really something for everyone. I tend to order the same one every time now as I've found my favorite (from the fall/winter menu: Panjabi Massala, a chai-based cocktail that tastes like a Christmas explosion, and from the spring/summer menu: Barabanaan, a cocktail that tastes something like a banana cardamom milkshake). I don't mind the prices at all (10-14€), because these creations are absolutely unique and delicious. Should you want something different, the bartenders can always make a custom made cocktail for you. - The tapas. I've brought several of my Indian friends here, and again, we've tried pretty much everything on the menu. They say everything tastes really authentic, and "like a better than average place back in India". What stands out to me personally is the squid, the lentil falafels, and the butter chicken. I could eat this all day, every day...! Of course, the naan is delicious and a much needed side dish for soaking up that alcohol you're sure to consume, seeing as the drinks are so yummy... - The concept. I adore the concept of this bar, first it being hidden away in the back of Elaichi, and then the idea of being in a train in India. The cocktail menu is designed like a passport, there are "windows" (tv screens) showing the landscape passing by. - The staff/owners. Every time we've gone to Baranaan, we always see the same staff working here. They are super friendly and always try to be very accommodating, and that pretty much goes for all of them. We've also had a chat with the owners sometimes as they tend to frequent the bar - very friendly guys. Honestly, the staff/owners alone make it worth coming back here! Great service. - The noise level. They play a lot of Indian music but it never gets in the way of conversation. Perhaps it's a little louder on weekends, but on weekdays, we always manage to talk to each other without going deaf and/or losing our voices. The combination of all of the above is enough for me to always want to return here. It's the kind of place where you want to be from the time it opens (18.30) all the way until closing time. The only regret I have, is not discovering this place earlier than I did. I plan on visiting as often as I can! ;)

One of the coolest speakeasies I've been to, ever. The drinks are kind of funky if Indian spices aren't your thing, but the naan was absolutely amazing -- a must-get with whatever drink you choose! Get ready to spend some money, but it's honestly worth it. The bartenders were all really cool -- it's definitely a younger crowd though.

This place is a hidden gem. Pun 100% intended (it's a speakeasy, enter through the hidden door in the tiger painting). The food was delicious. The cocktails were out of this world. The staff was incredibly friendly and the whole place is designed so you feel like you're in a train car. I only wish that we had a few more days in Paris so that we could go back!

Two stars for drinks and ambience. We came here looking at suggestion from a traveller's blog. We were disappointed with food options and the taste. We order three items, I don't remember the exact names, 1 was like lentil pakoras which were too salty, the butter chicken gravy was fine but chicken taste simply felt was liked boiled and third item was fried potatoes something, nothing special in terms of taste. Not recommended.

If I knew I was traveling to India by staying in the neighborhood... New bar, speakeasy with crazy cocktails! Just had the time to try two but will definitely be back for more, they make a Creme Brulee cocktail that looks like paradise!!! Had a terrific Goat Cheese Naan too, with Honey on top...yummy! Shot out to Gary at the bar and his Pineapple face!

It was an awesome place. Food was decent but hospitality was great!!! We had Momo as our server and he was great. Very helpful and kind. If you are looking for some decent Indian food and company then visit this place. They also have a hidden bar inside the restaurant which has nice ambience to hang out. Seems a lot of locals hang out here. Quite busy for Friday night!
