Entering one is like taking a step back in time to learn about past customs and traditions," with interiors of elegant mirrors, porcelain, and wood paneling that recall the city's 19th-century political and cultural life." - Laura Itzkowitz Laura Itzkowitz Laura Itzkowitz is a writer and editor based in Rome. We went here twice during our visit in turin and didn't make a reservation in neither, had no problem getting in and finding a table however it is recommended on weekends. The signature coffees are really unique and worth trying and the hot chocolate was really delicious as well. The atmosphere is beautiful and it has a very classic vibe. The prices are on the higher side. They also have a selection of chocolate pieces you can buy that are amazing.

We went there twice because of the quality of the coffe and chocolate. We found a table easily both times.Pergaps because we just wanted coffee. And we bought chocolates. They were pricey but tasty. A must visit for tourists, we saw a lot of people that seemed locals too.

We managed to get a table at Baratti & Milano without a reservation, which was a nice surprise. The service was friendly and the place itself looks beautiful, with a classic, elegant atmosphere. The prices are on the higher side, but I guess it’s expected for a historic spot like this. I went for the classic Bicerin and it was absolutely delicious. They also have a selection of sweets and chocolates you can buy as souvenirs.

THE best hot chocolate in my life and I am not even exaggerating. I am not a fan of heavy, rich chocolate..but this is so different. The style and ambience of the traditional cafe is epic and so beautiful. Staff were also friendly and helpful.

Fabulous dinner, immaculate service. We had reserved a table as the restaurant was packed at lunchtime but it was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday evening!

Fun experience in a long-time Torino culinary institution. Beautifully appointed dining room with white table cloth, crystal chandeliers and dark oak paneling. I ordered cappuccino with whipped cream and a small tasting platter of 3 dessert petit fours. Cappuccino overpriced at €9. Petit fours were tasty, reasonably priced at €1.50 each. Service was average, my server was a little terse and unsmiling. Good for a one-time tourist experience.

As every famous place it can get very busy and the customer service is not as expected... I can only guess because the staff is tired and extremely busy… Nevertheless, it’s a great place to have a coffee, a cake and admire the incredible inner decor, it’s full of history. Way TOO OVERPRICED , but again, once in a lifetime it’s worth it 😍

As one of the must-visit coffee shops in Turin, the coffee and desserts provided by this shop are definitely among the best in Italy. The service staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. We will definitely come back next time.
