I ordered takeout twice and dined in once. Overall, the food is tasty and worth coming back for. I personally wasn’t impressed by the octopus burger, but their anchovies are absolutely the best. You can substitute the side for french fries. I also tried the calamari, which were good. Dine-in wait time was around 15–20 minutes, and the food came out fairly quickly. Takeout was ready in about 10 minutes. I’d come again, even after 3 times. I saw people eat their take out on the staircase next to the restaurant.

I went to try the most hyped octopus burger in dubrovnik. I was expecting a more intense flavor, honestly I think everyone could eat it even if you’re not into seafood. anyways it’s really good and in price considering the portions are huge and it’s located in the old town. the local is small, you might have to wait for a table if you’re a big group. the guys working there were super nice and sweet 🫶🏼

Great experience dining at Barba - everything from the ordering process to the speed of service and finally to the food tasting. It was top notch! We ordered a Shrimp burger and an Octopus burger - both were mindblowingly good. We will come back again for sure!

It's more of a street food place based on seafood and we loved it! We had to wait 25 mins for a table, you give your name and they call you when it's your time. The place is small but it's worth the wait. We had octopus salad and octopus burger menu, delicious 😋! I wanna come back again! Very friendly staff and still smiling, although they were busy as hell. The wine was also absolutely delightful

A great place in the old town to get a lot of value for reasonable price. Lovely staff, I even got a full guide on how to properly eat the fresh oyster when I asked plus a description on where is it from and how it differs from other oyster species around the world. Overally; welcoming vibe, reasonable prices and great taste of food, couldn't recommend it more! :)

We ordered the small fish and chips, and the octopus salad. Both portions were decently sized and tasted delicious. Price was cheaper compared to other restaurants in the area. The service was great, the servers were super friendly. Would recommend.

After a search for best octopus burger, Barba came at the top of the list. We got there before the lunch crush and was told by the wait staff that it would be 5 minutes since it's a small restaurant and had limited seating. The wait was as predicted and we ordered one octoburger and one octoburger combo. The fries and onion rings were crispy and delicious. The octopus burger was good and filling, but I am taking one star off because we agreed that there was just a tad too much secret sauce. We found that the thousand island-like dressing over-powered the flavor of the burger. Otherwise, the staff were nice, quick and efficient. The restaurant was clean but small. And being in a tourist area in the middle of summer, it's no surprise that we found the prices to be a little on the high size.

We had a wonderful meal at Barba Street food whilst staying in Dubrovnik. We had the famous octopus burger and the squid. Both were fantastic. The meals were large and yet so light and tasted amazing. The owners/staff were friendly and speedy without making you feel rushed. Affordable too. Would definitely recommend !
