Barbacoa is an absolute must if you're looking to enjoy delicious, South American-style tapas in Bali. The food is full of flavour, beautifully presented, and perfect for sharing – ideal for a relaxed evening out with friends or a date night. It’s also great value for money, especially considering the quality. The steak is a standout – cooked to perfection – but honestly, every dish we tried was fantastic. A special shout-out to Cynthia, our waitress, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. She guided us through the menu with genuine care and great recommendations, which really elevated the whole experience. Barbacoa nails the balance of atmosphere, flavour, and service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Such a nice place to celebrate a special occasion or just a nice dinner out. It is on the pricier side but worth every dollar. We had tried a few dishes and our favourite was definitely the grilled squid. I also loved their spicy margarita! Our waiter Putu was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Excellent food and outstanding service. Our server Cynthia was fantastic and took the time to explain each dish clearly. We chose the Feed Me option for two people and were extremely happy with the entire meal. The sourdough bread was incredible. We especially loved the steak and jumbo prawns, both perfectly cooked and seasoned beautifully. Would definitely return.

Outstanding in all areas last night. We arrived with no booking. Staff at desk accommodated and found us a romantic table. Drinks and food was ordered and service was quick. Food was incredible and the photos will be all the talking. Dinner at Barbacoa was a highlight of this holiday to Bali. 5 stars to the team on the night. Special commendation to Arya who was very attentive. Do yourself a massive favour and visit this special restaurant. 🙏

I am writing my long overdue review for my dinner experience at Barbacoa when I had my honeymoon in Bali, last year. It was one of my most enjoyable dinner when I was in Bali, Sinthya provided an exceptional service with superb food recommendations. Basically, all of the food that she recommended, from appetiser to dessert were mindblowingly delicious. We even ordered twice for the beef tartare and my husband said he has one of the best potato wedges in his life. I will definitely come back to this place especially for the beef tartare! ❤️

What an awesome restaurant with amazing service! The waitress was so warm and welcoming—super attentive and engaging throughout our meal. It was our first visit, and we were surprised to see the place completely packed (and we were the only Asians dining there). Felt like we weren’t even in Bali! We ordered most of the house favorites, and these were the standouts I’d totally recommend: - Woodfired Sourdough Bread (50K) – Just bread, but how is it this good? With roasted garlic, chili oil, olive oil, and balsamic made it the perfect starter - Beef Tartare (110K) – Silky and flavorful, no weird smell at all. Seasoning was on point, and everything worked together perfectly - Half Charcoal Chicken (190K) – One of the best mains! Flavorful, juicy, and cooked just right. The pickled green tomatoes added a sweet, tangy kick that elevated the dish - Pure Black Rib Fillet (590K) – Australian Black Angus, 300g of pure perfection. Medium-rare and super juicy, topped with a chimichurri butter that was next level! Don’t miss the Spanish-style potatoes with aioli (50K) and roasted pumpkin on the side—best pumpkin ever! Also worth ordering: - Crispy Chicken Wings (65K) – Sweet, savory, and nicely crisp - Croquetas with Pulled Pork (55K) – Creamy, packed with flavor - Baby Calamari Skewers (95K) – Tender and nicely grilled, with mint salsa and lime giving it a bright finish - Yellowfin Tuna Tartare (70K) – Fresh and well-balanced. The smoked yucca crema added a subtle sweetness and smoky touch. - Char-grilled King Prawns (180K for 4 pcs) – Tasty but a bit on the pricier side - Nitro Sundae (80K) – A fun, theatrical dessert with dulce de leche ice cream, chocolate fudge, and nitro coconut cream. Sweet and indulgent! Some other dishes didn’t leave much of an impression, but overall, everything was well-prepared and quick to serve. Portions are meant for sharing (around 3–4 people per dish), so if you come with a big group, it’s best to double up on orders. The space is absolutely stunning—especially at night—and the food quality, speed, and service make the slightly higher prices (targeting Western diners) totally worth it. No complaints at all—will definitely come back!

We are the Korean-Japanese couple that visited Barbacoa for dinner. Our experience at Barbacoa was fantastic, the food was nice and the service was great as well. Arya, a waiter that helped us a lot was very friendly and professional. Highly recommended place for a special dinner with your loved ones. What an awesome restaurant with amazing service, Okta was so welcoming and her attention to our table was so engaging. Thank you !!! What can I say about the food??? Nothing disappointed. Second visit we made our way through all the starters- like our own degustation. Flavours are fresh and link well throughout the menu- well done! We visited twice over 5 days.
