Barbeque Nation at Banjara Hills is one of those classic buffet places that has been around for a long time and continues to be a go-to spot for people who enjoy eating in large portions. I had last visited this branch around 5–6 years ago, and recently went again. Interestingly, not much has changed except the seating arrangement. The taste, thankfully, has remained consistent — which is a good thing because the flavors and spread are still as enjoyable as I remember. I am also attaching some old photos from my earlier visit, just to show how this place has been a steady choice over the years.
The buffet system here is definitely worth it if you are someone who eats a lot and wants to try multiple items. The variety is wide — starters, main course, desserts — and they keep the refills coming. But if you’re someone who eats less, then honestly the price (around ₹900–1000 per person) might not feel worth it. This place is really designed for people who enjoy indulging in a big meal.
One concern I’ve always had about buffets in general, and the same applies here, is food wastage. Many people just taste a little bit of everything and end up wasting a lot. I sincerely hope Barbeque Nation takes some steps to minimize this issue, because food wastage is something that should be avoided at any cost.
Another small suggestion from my side is regarding drinks. They serve alcohol here, and while that’s fine for those who drink, I strongly feel there should be a little separation between drinkers and non-drinkers. A lot of Muslims and non-drinkers visit this outlet, and it would be more respectful not to serve alcohol right next to their table.
Overall, it’s still a good place to visit, especially if you’re hungry and want to enjoy a wide variety of food at once. For me, the consistency in taste after so many years is a big positive, and that’s why I would still recommend it.
