HIGHLY RECOMMEND Barbour on Madison Avenue! Not only is their selection amazing and their store gorgeous, but the staff is always so kind and helpful - they make you feel like family while you are trying on jackets. I don't know why there is a single negative review of this store - it gets very busy there during the holiday season (like it does anywhere!) but the staff is always extremely attentive, even when they are busy. I will be a forever customer at Barbour on Madison!

I had a fantastic experience at the Barbour store in NYC. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and eager to help without being overbearing. The store itself is beautifully laid out, with a men’s and women’s and a dog section! You can tell they genuinely care about their products and customers, as they offer expert advice on care and re waxing services to keep your Barbour pieces in top condition for years to come. If you appreciate timeless craftsmanship and top-notch customer service, I highly recommend visiting the Barbour NYC store. I love my Reighton barbour and my dog niece, Zelda’s waxed jacket!

Really impressed with this place. They have a great selection — not just a bunch of random styles thrown together, but pieces that actually make sense together and make me feel classy. 😎 The staff deserves a shoutout. They were genuinely helpful without being pushy, and had solid insight on what fit well and what worked best for my body shape. It didn’t feel like sales talk — it felt like real, thoughtful advice. Left with a quilted vest, a tartan wool over shirt, and a classic Bedale wax jacket I know I’ll have for a very long time. Definitely worth checking out.

The product is known and speaks for itself. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Had a great experience gift shopping and with absolutely no heavy-handed upselling from the salespeople, also walked out with something for myself.

Exquisite iconic product but terribly merchandised!! I would buy a FULL coordinated outfit (top, pant, scarf, etc. but they do not understand coordination of items enabling and promoting a MULTIPLE sale!! I even had to call around to different stores to find/buy the MATCHING hood for my coat!!!

The store looks really nice and has a great atmosphere. I love the products and the staff was also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my questions and guiding me to exactly what I needed. Overall, a great experience!

Incredibly crowded: last Sunday the store was packed and the staff were doing their best to help everyone. Customers were trying on clothes everywhere, and I almost had to argue with someone just to use a mirror. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, even though I didn’t find the jacket in the size I wanted.

I had a wonderful experience at the NYC Barbour store on Madison Avenue! I found a sweater and fleece, and am thrilled with my purchases. Aside from the purchases, I want to give a special shout-out to the very friendly staff! They helped me find what I was looking for. I'm looking forward to returning to this Barbour store when I'm back in NYC in March.
