Barceló Aruba - All Inclusive

This place was great! Loved the acrobatic show, the pool and the beach! The room was always well kept by the cleaning staff. The pool activities and drinks were always such a great time:) great music! The Japanese restaurant was a MUST go to!! Such an amazing hibachi night was very satisfied:) The only issue is the other food options were probably the worst food at any inclusive resort I’ve ever been. The pancakes on multiple occasions were not cooked all the way, they had limited options, services at the buffet below the Italian restaurant probably had the most rude lady we encountered. The pasta station had a lady who only spoke Spanish and I noticed other guest were frustrated. She didn’t let me take my food until I tipped her, she held the food back until I dropped a bill down. Me and my husband were very disappointed in the food over all and with that lady. A five star hotel with 2 star food at best.

Overall, our stay at the Barcelo was wonderful. My kids had an amazing time, and the atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly. The buffet staff went above and beyond to make every meal enjoyable — always attentive, friendly, and efficient. Special thanks to Zotina, whose work ethic truly stood out, as well as to Zulay and Glenn for their cheerful energy and willingness to help with anything we needed. Their smiles made a great experience even better!

I wanted to sincerely thank Erica Jaramillo Rodriquez for outstanding managerial excellence She went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. She was the only one that was exceptional helpful and sympathetic. She made our stay enjoyable and stress free. She deserves a raise and the Barceló should train all their staff to be like her. What an incredible human being. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your amazing compassion and dedication to making sure all of our needs were met.

Our group recently stayed at Barceló in Aruba, and what was supposed to be a short trip unexpectedly turned into an extended stay when a storm in New York left us stranded. Traveling with a large group during an already stressful situation could have been overwhelming — but thanks to Erica Jaramillo Rodríguez, it turned into a truly positive experience. Erica was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we realized we needed to extend our stay, she stepped in with professionalism, calmness, and genuine empathy. She worked tirelessly to help us secure additional rooms, coordinated accommodations seamlessly, and made sure everyone in our group was taken care of. Her patience and understanding during a chaotic situation meant more to us than we can express. What stood out most was her warmth. She didn’t just “do her job” — she showed real concern for our comfort and well-being. She reassured us, kept communication clear, and made what could have been a very stressful extension feel smooth and manageable. Because of Erica, our unexpected extra days in Aruba became a memorable and enjoyable part of our trip rather than a travel nightmare. She is a true asset to the resort, and her dedication to guest service is outstanding. Thank you, Erica, for going above and beyond for our group. We are incredibly grateful!

This hotel sits perfectly in that mid-luxury sweet spot. The rooms are simple, modern, and very clean — comfortable without trying too hard. The location is perfect in Aruba, making it easy to get around and enjoy the island. What truly sets this place apart is the service — every interaction felt thoughtful and personal, and the staff went above and beyond to make the stay feel special. I have been to Aruba many times. Me and my husband celebrated our one year anniversary this trip and also came with another couple who also stayed here. Our friends fully enjoyed it, and the staff also helped my husband plan a surprise when your anniversary dinner on the beach!! Highly recommend!

I had an amazing stay at Barceló Aruba, largely because of the incredible staff who truly made our trip unforgettable. Every single staff member we interacted with was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive. Glenn, Claudia, Liza, and Zotina at the Palm Buffet went above and beyond every day with their warm smiles and outstanding service. Gerald at the Mexican Restaurant was fantastic and was hilarious, and Dan and Mary Jean at Kyoto were amazing. Especially Mary Jean who was an incredibly friendly and attentive waitress who provided excellent service and never disappointed. Hebert at the pool and beach was also amazing—always helpful, quick with drinks, and genuinely caring about guests’ comfort. These employees are truly the heart of this resort, and their professionalism and kindness made us feel valued throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the rooms were a major letdown. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, making it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep for most of our trip. The overall condition of the room felt outdated and did not match the quality or expectations of the resort. Because of this, we were quite disappointed with the room experience, which took away from what could have been a perfect stay. That being said, I want to sincerely thank Barceló for having such an outstanding team of staff. Their dedication and friendliness made a huge difference, and I truly hope to return in the future—hopefully to improved and more comfortable rooms.

After staying at Barceló in Mexico my husband and I wanted to try something new so we gave Barcelo Aruba a try. The beaches are so clean and the water is constantly stunning. Overall Aruba is just a beautiful place. The hotel itself is smaller, the rooms were a little cramped with how big the furniture was. We enjoyed the Italian & Royal Club restaurants, but the others left something to be desired they all seemed a little dated. The service was lovely, especially the Royal Level Restaurant where my partner and I ate daily. Melvin, Lissette, Carolina, Karina, Jaime, Maria & Joyce were incredible. I had many dietary accommodations and they were happy to make sure I had everything I needed. The staff were so kind and welcoming, we really felt like we made friends in our time there. I would recommend paying for the Royal level access. Between the Royal Restaurant and the extra bar on the beach it was definitely worth it. I also really appreciated being able to book excursions right from the hotel, which was very convenient. One thing to note is that the Barcelo is like the last stop if you take the bus from the airport, so it took us a very long time to get from the airport to the hotel. I think it was almost an hour.

This resort is beautiful and the staff are amazing! They go above and beyond and everyone is so joyful. Jhon was our server for dinner and was so helpful with suggesting sights to see on the island. Marie and Glembert were our waiters at breakfast and they were incredibly attentive and took the best care of us! Smiling faces and warm, kind people. Great patios and ambiance, outdoor relaxation areas, and the food is phenomenal here. Definitely recommend!
