This resort is beautiful and the staff are amazing! They go above and beyond and everyone is so joyful. Jhon was our server for dinner and was so helpful with suggesting sights to see on the island. Marie and Glembert were our waiters at breakfast and they were incredibly attentive and took the best care of us! Smiling faces and warm, kind people. Great patios and ambiance, outdoor relaxation areas, and the food is phenomenal here. Definitely recommend!

I had an amazing stay at Barceló Aruba, largely because of the incredible staff who truly made our trip unforgettable. Every single staff member we interacted with was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive. Glenn, Claudia, Liza, and Zotina at the Palm Buffet went above and beyond every day with their warm smiles and outstanding service. Gerald at the Mexican Restaurant was fantastic and was hilarious, and Dan and Mary Jean at Kyoto were amazing. Especially Mary Jean who was an incredibly friendly and attentive waitress who provided excellent service and never disappointed. Hebert at the pool and beach was also amazing—always helpful, quick with drinks, and genuinely caring about guests’ comfort. These employees are truly the heart of this resort, and their professionalism and kindness made us feel valued throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the rooms were a major letdown. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, making it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep for most of our trip. The overall condition of the room felt outdated and did not match the quality or expectations of the resort. Because of this, we were quite disappointed with the room experience, which took away from what could have been a perfect stay. That being said, I want to sincerely thank Barceló for having such an outstanding team of staff. Their dedication and friendliness made a huge difference, and I truly hope to return in the future—hopefully to improved and more comfortable rooms.

8 days in paradise is not enough….. Aruba must be one of the most beautiful places on earth. The Barcelo All inclusive was awesome. Service at The Palm was fantastic!! Particularly Ruthmila and Marieanna. They were so welcoming and great service. Hudson was always a great help on the beach. Amazing human being. As our trip draws to an end we always look back with great memories..

Nora and Jonathan were great at Kyoto! We enjoyed the food. Rodell from seafood and steak place was also amazing. He went out of his way to make my grandmothers birthday special. He even drew a picture of her on her dessert plate. The food was delicious highly recommend.

The hotel was okay overall, but there were some issues that affected the stay. The room itself was terrible (1/5) — the toilet was broken and some of the lights did not work, as well as mold growth, which was extremely disappointing. Pillows also extremely thin. Service was below average (2/5). We booked a two-bed room but were given a one-bed room instead. When we brought it up, the manager said nothing could be done and only offered rollaway beds, which was not ideal. On the positive side, the food was decent for being inclusive and the hotel restaurants were actually good. The staff at the restaurants were amazing, especially Jason Manuel and George at the Japanese restaurant — they really stood out and made the dining experience enjoyable The location is also very good with great beachside access as well as many things to do around the hotel. Overall, it is a decent hotel, but room maintenance and front desk service definitely need improvement. Attached pictures is of beef ribeye that is raw touching the ready to eat cheese slices. extremely unsanitary. Also attached is mold in the room.

My husband and I came here for the first time this past week for our wedding anniversary. The reviews for this place were great so we booked. I will say that the location and beach are the only real highlights of Barceló Aruba. The resort sits right on a beautiful stretch of beach, and the area is very convenient for getting around the island. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The food was awful across the resort and well below what you’d expect for an all-inclusive property. The beds were old and extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Our bathroom had visible mold, and the room overall felt outdated and poorly maintained. The pool area needs repair, and instead of being relaxing, it was made worse by obnoxiously loud music that played for long stretches of the day. It felt more chaotic than enjoyable. The crowd is also older which is great but we were hoping to meet other couples our own age. Overall, the resort is in serious need of renovation and major improvements. If you’re considering staying here, you’d be better off choosing another property in Aruba and enjoying this beach without sacrificing comfort and cleanliness.

Overall, it's a nice hotel in a central location. Service was consistently good, especially in restaurants. Japanese restaurant was memorable with Jason and Manuel providing superb service! They were great with my little one. Most staff and bartenders were very nice and we didn't experience any negatives in terms of service. One negative was that they didn't provide hair conditioner or body lotion. When we called, they said they were out of them...indefinitely. I haven't been to a hotel that wouldn't provide those basics in the last 20 years, but, oh well, we had to go out and buy some, so, maybe bring your own. Otherwise, it's a standard all-inclusive with decent food and nice beach, which is the most important factor for us. You have to get beach chairs early, there were some shenanigans with towels, but that's standard at all-inclusive resorts. In my opinion, this was a good value for the price.
