Barcelo Cairo Pyramids

Really nice hotel stay here. Clean comfy rooms, although I had to move once and the second room was quite small - but comfy. Good AC. Nice bathrooms. The rooftop restaurant had nice food and an incredible view of the pyramids. There’s an outdoor area you can see the view from or have a drink on although it was quite windy when I was there. The pool was nice and had a little bar and nice loungers around it. The pool area staff were helpful. I had a massage downstairs which was good and good value for money. The staff overall were friendly and helpful. Cash machines in the lobby were useful. Good location for the pyramids, though quite far from the airport. Breakfast was a bit limited. Overall a good stay here.

We liked the location, the staff and the travel company inside the hotel. We were able to organises day trios everyday at a very reasonable price. Mohamed and his team of drivers were fantastic. They made our holiday very special

We stayed for 4 nights and it was a fantastic, clean and well run hotel. The staff were friendly. We felt safe with security on the main entrance. We opted for the breakfast option but wish we had done the dinner option too as the food was great. ||The breakfast is served in a huge room so there were always enough tables no matter what time it was. They served a huge breakfast buffet with continental and cooked breakfast options. ||We used two of the restaurants. The first one downstairs was a cheap Italian which did the job. But the upstairs restaurant on the 12th floor was lovely. It had a rooftop balcony area that overlooked the pyramids. Food was great. I attached photos of the menu for this restaurant.||Location is about a 20 minute taxi drive to the pyramids. Every tour we wanted to go on had no problems picking us up from this hotel. We did venture out by ourselves to a McDonald's which was just a 5 minute walk but I would most likely advise to stay within the hotel when not on a tour.||The pool was lovely. Rarely busy. They offer clean towels and you can order drinks to you.

From the very first moment, their service was impeccable, always courteous, attentive to every detail, and genuinely committed to making guests feel at home. My wife and I spent 2 nights in this delightful hotel on the 29th and 30th May, 2025. This place is full of old-world charm with ornate lighting, panelled walls and a wide stairway. The restaurants are beautifully appointed with lovely paintings on the walls and opulent chandeliers above. There's even a gentleman playing the piano during the evenings in the foyer and he regales his appreciative audience with delightful yesteryear hits! The rooms are spacious and clean, the food in all the restaurants are way above average both in the variety and quality! Special mention must be made of the super-efficient Ms. Heman at the reception, Messrs.Youssef Salah, Attia, and Ahmed at the buffet restaurant for their warm and friendly service!! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at this hotel (Room#416) ! We would enthusiastically recommend this place to anyone visiting Cairo to see the incredible sights in this city!! The rooms are very spacious, clean and great AC. No issues in the rooms just a bit of renovations going on. The best part is the service 100% great at the restaurant, reception and tours, taxi services. The car and tours services has two wonderful people Mohamed and his son Ahmed Ghanem, both made the best of our 4 days in Cairo, Book directly with them, don’t try to save $5-$10 , their services is personalized. Thank you.! In regards to the food it was awesome and wonderful , no issues. Great pool.
