Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff is so kind and thoughtful. They have great attention to details. We ran out of toothpaste the last night and the cleaning crew left us a dental kit without even asking. Saved us from having to run out again. The beds are super comfortable. Shower is so clean and luxurious. For what you pay for its beyond worth it! Thank you Barcelo Crew!

An Outstanding Stay with Incredible Amenities From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The valet service was smooth, and the manager at reception provided a warm welcome, explaining everything clearly. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming — always smiling and ready to help. The experience was so good that I ended up extending my stay by two more days. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly—100% worth it!

I would like to start by giving a huge thank you to Selin — she’s truly a superstar! From the moment we arrived, she made our experience seamless. We were traveling with a baby, and thanks to her, the check-in process took less than five minutes, which was a huge relief. Seline also made sure we had one of the best rooms, and she went above and beyond to arrange a late check-out, which made our stay even more comfortable. Her professionalism and kindness really stood out. I also want to recognize Osman and Ardan from housekeeping on our floor. They were absolutely amazing — always friendly, attentive, and doing their job with genuine care. What a fantastic team! The breakfast staff were also incredibly welcoming and kind, making each morning a pleasant start to the day. Honestly, I’m speechless — everything was just perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service and hospitality. We felt truly taken care of, and it made our trip all the more special.

I stayed with my family at the Barceló Hotel for 10 days, and we were overall very satisfied. The location is excellent and very central. The hotel is clean, and most of the staff were very friendly and attentive. I have particularly fond memories of Amina from the breakfast team, as well as Nejdet and Hüseyn from the cleaning staff, who were exceptionally kind and helpful.|There were, however, two aspects that led me to give 4 instead of 5 stars:|The outdoor jacuzzi was not warm, although we had been assured beforehand that it would be. In fact, the water was cold. |When showering, water always leaked out from the door, so we had to dry the floor afterwards each time.|Despite these small drawbacks, we truly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return to the Barceló Hotel in the future.

During our stay, we were really impressed with the service from all the staff – everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and attentive, which made our visit truly enjoyable.||A special mention goes to Ugur and Ceren from housekeeping, who went above and beyond to ensure our room was spotless and comfortable throughout. This hotel has the best service that I have seen from all the hotels that I stayed at in Turkey . Every staff member smiles at you from the security to the bellboy and the cleaning staff. The breakfast was also excellent. The coffee is really good for a full automatic coffee machine. All in all it was really the highlight of my trip. The only critic I have is for the room itself. I stayed at room 522 and the plastic around the shower door was old and didn't stop the water from getting on the bathroom floor. So every time we took a shower the bathroom floor would get really wet.

I had a wonderful and memorable stay at Barcelo Hotel. The room service was excellent, and the room itself was spacious, comfortable, and always cleaned on time by the housekeeping staff. The location of the hotel was truly perfect, making it very convenient for exploring the city. On the downside, breakfast was rather limited. The buffet was not very rich, and there weren’t many dessert options available. However, the breakfast hours were very convenient. Upon check-in, we were asked to pay a deposit of 100 USD for the room. At check-out, we were surprisingly charged 260 lira for just one Coca-Cola, which felt a bit unreasonable. Some of the room facilities seemed slightly old, but everything was kept clean and tidy. Overall, I would like to sincerely thank the friendly and helpful staff at Barcelo Hotel, who made our stay enjoyable despite the minor shortcomings.

Nice clean modern and beautiful. The staff has gone above and beyond. AMAZING location close to Taksim square, less than 15 min. Tons of amazing restaurants and donor kabobs nearby. I wish I had stayed here instead of Hotel Hilton Bomonti because everything is within walking distance! Just remember, smoking isn't illegal in Turkey. So you might get rooms and floors that are smoking floors, make sure you don't end up with a smoking room. I was originally given a smoking room but Nazli and the receptionist stepped in and gave me an upgrade. The last room available too. This is such an amazing hotel. Yelp reviews are not truly reflective on how great the hotel is. If in doubt, cross reference with Trip advisor, endless 5 stars

We stayed for a week. Clean, service is very good. Employees are very helpful, polite, little English speaking which make life easier in Istanbul. Weather you like it or not, leave do not disturb sign still the cleaners come to the room to change the towels. The Champs bar in the hotel serves delicious, good food & servers are very nice. The only problem watch for the little steps in our big family of twenty people three , one in the bar , two during breakfast fell from those unviable stairs. The manager Ms Mitra is a great manager, very helpful nice& kind. Ms Filiz the cleaning lady is great, very helpful happy lady too.

An absolutely amazing hotel close to taksim center and just about all other attractions. We ended up getting a suite and it was beyond our expectations. Way better than the all inclusive resorts we paid $600 per night in bodrum. Service is also exceptional with attention to all details.

the employees here In Barcelo Hotel..especially the manager and the worker HASSAN had a small disagreement with my husband and HASSAN one of the workers at the Barcelo hotel told my husband that when he gets off work he will take off all of his work clothes and he will wait for us outside and catch us in the corner. it is unbelievable how these people are running this hotel. we feel unsafe and have already talked to an attorney and will be moving forward with a very big lawsuit we have come to Turkey to enjoy and no longer can leave our room due to the fact that we are afraid maybe the hotel employees will be setting us up once we leave.

Nice and clean hotel, very poor customer service!!! I left a full drawer of my clothes behind, I went to Greece, Called them many times and finally they told me to email and ask if they can sent my clothes to Greece, I had nothing to wear! I bought few T-shirts and waited for their response, they said that I had to arrange a ups pick up!!!!! I live is USA and had no clue what I had to do, I asked them to please send my clothes and change my card. But, They didn't do that.!!!!
