Barcelo Hotel Istanbul

I had such a wonderful stay at Barceló Istanbul mostly thanks to the incredible people who work there! First and foremost, I have to mention Ali , a waiter (casualty). He noticed my morning routine right away and made sure everything was ready just the way I liked it, without me even asking. His thoughtfulness and gentle presence made me feel completely at home. Amir, another wonderful waiter, also deserves a big thank you. He was always quick, and attentive, adding a bright start to every morning. Together, Ali and Amir made breakfast something to look forward to every day. A special mention goes to Chef Amineh, whose warm smile and positive energy filled the restaurant. Her dishes were delicious, but it was her happy spirit that made the atmosphere feel so welcoming. At the front desk, Dilara was both professional and genuinely friendly. And Hassan, the housekeeper, kept my room spotless with great care and attention to detail. Overall, the team at Barceló Istanbul turned what could have been a regular hotel stay into a truly personal and heartwarming experience. I can’t thank them enough, I left feeling like I was saying goodbye to friends.

We had a wonderful stay for 5 nights at Barcelo Istanbul. This is our second time in the city and had the best experience staying here. From clean, impeccable room that was spacious, had amazing views and a hammam bathroom. We always felt taken care of and the service is top notched. We wanted to give a big thank you to our housekeeping Ms. Nurten. She was the most kind and generous house keeper and always took good care of us and to our kids. We couldn't thank you more for such a memorable trip! Highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Istanbul and looking for a 5 start hotel that provides the best service, and in the heart of Istanbul.

We had a wonderful 5-day stay at Barcelo Istanbul. The breakfasts were excellent with a great variety and fresh options every day. The rooms are spacious with excellent sound insulation. The staff throughout the hotel were very pleasant and helpful, which made our stay even more comfortable.||I would especially like to mention Huseyin, who took care of our room (Room 617). The room was always perfectly clean, everything was replenished on time, and he was always kind, polite and smiling. His work truly made a difference and we appreciated it very much.||Thank you to the whole team for a lovely stay — we would be happy to return.

I stayed at the Barcelo hotel for 6 nights at the end of this October. The stay was absolutely incredible. I booked my stay through a third party and was anxious about the room arrangement but they gave me a great room with exactly the bed requirements I asked for. The service was great and staff were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a good range of food and pastries. It’s a shame there isn’t a dinner buffet. They have a restaurant but a buffet would be much better. The hotel is a few mins walk from Taksim square/ station and less than 10mins from istiklal street where all the local shops and restaurants are. It’s tucked away from all the noise which is a plus. One thing to note is when you check in you have to provide a deposit of 100 euros so make sure you bring some cash with you. Thank you barcelo. I will be coming back to stay with you if i visit Istanbul again.

I would like to express my great gratitude and thanks to the excellent staff for dealing with the guests. The breakfast was wonderful and varied with items that would satisfy everyone. Special thanks to Nour and Amana for their great treatment and distinguished service provision. Thanks to Mrs. Hanieh Baghestani /Guest Experience Supervisor, with her unforgettable smile, in addition to the high-class service. The room was really good & cleaning service was excellent. Finally the gym was amazing with an unforgettable view of the city.

My husband and I had the best stay. The location is ideal for staying in Istanbul. The staff are very kind and welcoming. The rooms are so clean and the room cleaning service is impeccable. Specifically Ms. Nurten, she always greeted us the moment we came out of the room in the morning, she put special details into cleaning our room and treated us with such kindness! It made us love coming back to our hotel. Overall, highly recommend Barcelo hotel for your stay in Istanbul!!

Nice clean modern and beautiful. The staff has gone above and beyond. AMAZING location close to Taksim square, less than 15 min. Tons of amazing restaurants and donor kabobs nearby. I wish I had stayed here instead of Hotel Hilton Bomonti because everything is within walking distance! Just remember, smoking isn't illegal in Turkey. So you might get rooms and floors that are smoking floors, make sure you don't end up with a smoking room. I was originally given a smoking room but Nazli and the receptionist stepped in and gave me an upgrade. The last room available too. This is such an amazing hotel. Yelp reviews are not truly reflective on how great the hotel is. If in doubt, cross reference with Trip advisor, endless 5 stars

We stayed for a week. Clean, service is very good. Employees are very helpful, polite, little English speaking which make life easier in Istanbul. Weather you like it or not, leave do not disturb sign still the cleaners come to the room to change the towels. The Champs bar in the hotel serves delicious, good food & servers are very nice. The only problem watch for the little steps in our big family of twenty people three , one in the bar , two during breakfast fell from those unviable stairs. The manager Ms Mitra is a great manager, very helpful nice& kind. Ms Filiz the cleaning lady is great, very helpful happy lady too.

An absolutely amazing hotel close to taksim center and just about all other attractions. We ended up getting a suite and it was beyond our expectations. Way better than the all inclusive resorts we paid $600 per night in bodrum. Service is also exceptional with attention to all details.

the employees here In Barcelo Hotel..especially the manager and the worker HASSAN had a small disagreement with my husband and HASSAN one of the workers at the Barcelo hotel told my husband that when he gets off work he will take off all of his work clothes and he will wait for us outside and catch us in the corner. it is unbelievable how these people are running this hotel. we feel unsafe and have already talked to an attorney and will be moving forward with a very big lawsuit we have come to Turkey to enjoy and no longer can leave our room due to the fact that we are afraid maybe the hotel employees will be setting us up once we leave.

Nice and clean hotel, very poor customer service!!! I left a full drawer of my clothes behind, I went to Greece, Called them many times and finally they told me to email and ask if they can sent my clothes to Greece, I had nothing to wear! I bought few T-shirts and waited for their response, they said that I had to arrange a ups pick up!!!!! I live is USA and had no clue what I had to do, I asked them to please send my clothes and change my card. But, They didn't do that.!!!!
