Barcelo Hotel Istanbul

My stay at the hotel was truly amazing, especially because of the excellent service, delicious food, and outstanding cleanliness. The staff was always friendly, polite, and ready to help with anything I needed, making me feel comfortable and welcomed at all times. The food was fresh, tasty, and offered a great variety to suit every taste. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel; everything was spotless and well-maintained. These details made my stay unforgettable, and I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel is incredibly clean, smells amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. From the front desk to the cleaners at breakfast and the cleaners in the bedrooms there is such kind thoughtful interactions especially with my daughter Sara. Special mention to Sureyya who cleaned our room she always packed Sara’s toys so nicely and packed all the shoes so neatly there really was extra attention to detail all around. I would definitely revisit Barcelo and recommend the hotel to family and friends. 5 stars for sure.

I stayed at the Barcelo Hotel for a week and had the opportunity to observe many aspects of the experience. Initially, I was inclined to rate it 3 out of 5 stars due to a very inflexible refund policy. I had booked the hotel for six nights, but on the fourth night, our plans changed and I needed to check out early. Unfortunately, I was informed that no refund would be issued for the remaining two nights. This kind of policy feels more in line with a budget motel than a five-star establishment. A true five-star hotel should operate with an abundance mindset — understanding that if one guest leaves, another will gladly take their place. That said, what truly sets Barcelo apart is its exceptional staff. I had the pleasure of meeting several team members who made my stay genuinely memorable: first and foremost, Melek Hanım from the room service team, Helin from the Champs restaurant, and Nur and Aylin from the breakfast team — you are all outstanding. Thank you for your warm hospitality and excellent service. I look forward to returning and seeing you again on my next stay at Barcelo.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Barcelo hotel — everything exceeded expectations! The service was exceptional from start to finish, and I must give special thanks to Najoua, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly stood out. She was always available to help with a smile and made us feel so welcomed and cared for. The facilities were spotless, the ambiance was relaxing, and every staff member we encountered was kind and courteous. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed at this hotel with my three children, including a toddler under 2, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and perfectly located, making it easy to get around the Taksim area. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us — even providing an international plug converter when we realized we forgot ours. Traveling with young kids can be stressful, but they made everything smooth and comfortable for us. Room service was surprisingly excellent — we especially recommend the pizza! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to families.

My recent stay was exceptional. Mr. Omer at reception provided outstanding assistance when I inadvertently booked for July instead of June. His professionalism in resolving this matter and securing the correct reservation was exemplary. The breakfast was delightful, and the room was superb. I will certainly return to this establishment during my next visit to Istanbul.

I had an exceptional stay at Hotel Barceló Istanbul. From the moment I arrived, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. The hotel itself is modern, beautifully designed, and ideally located in the heart of Istanbul, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers. The staff were truly the highlight of my visit. Every team member I interacted with was professional, warm, and eager to help—from the front desk to the housekeeping team. They went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable throughout my stay.[Special thanks for Hanieh from the front desk and management and Helin one of the kindest staff at the resturant] The on-site restaurant was equally impressive. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, blending international cuisine with Turkish flavors. Every meal I had was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The breakfast buffet was especially noteworthy, with fresh ingredients and plenty of healthy options. Overall, Barceló Istanbul exceeded my expectations. The combination of top-notch service, elegant ambiance, and outstanding dining made my stay memorable. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to every one.

Very good hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Great location — easy to arrive and leave by taxi. There are many restaurants nearby. I really liked it! I would like to give special thanks to the lady from housekeeping- NUNTEN. She was incredibly kind, always smiling, very helpful, and did an excellent job keeping the room clean and comfortable. Everything was always perfect and in place. I’m truly grateful for her warm and professional attitude.

Nice clean modern and beautiful. The staff has gone above and beyond. AMAZING location close to Taksim square, less than 15 min. Tons of amazing restaurants and donor kabobs nearby. I wish I had stayed here instead of Hotel Hilton Bomonti because everything is within walking distance! Just remember, smoking isn't illegal in Turkey. So you might get rooms and floors that are smoking floors, make sure you don't end up with a smoking room. I was originally given a smoking room but Nazli and the receptionist stepped in and gave me an upgrade. The last room available too. This is such an amazing hotel. Yelp reviews are not truly reflective on how great the hotel is. If in doubt, cross reference with Trip advisor, endless 5 stars

We stayed for a week. Clean, service is very good. Employees are very helpful, polite, little English speaking which make life easier in Istanbul. Weather you like it or not, leave do not disturb sign still the cleaners come to the room to change the towels. The Champs bar in the hotel serves delicious, good food & servers are very nice. The only problem watch for the little steps in our big family of twenty people three , one in the bar , two during breakfast fell from those unviable stairs. The manager Ms Mitra is a great manager, very helpful nice& kind. Ms Filiz the cleaning lady is great, very helpful happy lady too.

An absolutely amazing hotel close to taksim center and just about all other attractions. We ended up getting a suite and it was beyond our expectations. Way better than the all inclusive resorts we paid $600 per night in bodrum. Service is also exceptional with attention to all details.

the employees here In Barcelo Hotel..especially the manager and the worker HASSAN had a small disagreement with my husband and HASSAN one of the workers at the Barcelo hotel told my husband that when he gets off work he will take off all of his work clothes and he will wait for us outside and catch us in the corner. it is unbelievable how these people are running this hotel. we feel unsafe and have already talked to an attorney and will be moving forward with a very big lawsuit we have come to Turkey to enjoy and no longer can leave our room due to the fact that we are afraid maybe the hotel employees will be setting us up once we leave.

Nice and clean hotel, very poor customer service!!! I left a full drawer of my clothes behind, I went to Greece, Called them many times and finally they told me to email and ask if they can sent my clothes to Greece, I had nothing to wear! I bought few T-shirts and waited for their response, they said that I had to arrange a ups pick up!!!!! I live is USA and had no clue what I had to do, I asked them to please send my clothes and change my card. But, They didn't do that.!!!!
