Barceló Oviedo Cervantes

It's definitely worth the value. We stayed for just one night to explore Oviedo, but we truly enjoyed it. Upon check-in, we upgraded to a room with a tub and we were pleasantly surprised to see how it was designed - as if a walk-in closet with separate shower, toilet, and a nice tub with a glass window to the bedroom. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable, you don't wanna get out of this bed. The overall decor is very pleasant, nice colors. The restaurant onsite has a good variety of choices, the ambience is very nice, and the staff was very courteous and polite. The breakfast venue was great as well, with many options to choose from. The location is nice, close proximity to the old city and center. A very pleasant experience!

This was a very classy hotel where we had a lovely comfortable room with excellent shower facilities. We didn’t use the bar, dining facilities or breakfast because we were worn out from our travelling the previous day and just wanted to get a rest. I’d recommend the city because it has a beautiful old town that is a short walk from the hotel. We happened to stay when the San Mateo festival was finishing so were able to enjoy some of the street music and activities that happened over the weekend.

Barcelo Cervantes Oviedo is well located for walking to the park and the cathedral area. Reception staff were very nice and helpful. Room was good sized. The bed and bedding were comfy. Bathroom was large with a jetted tub plus a small shower. Parking garage on site was a big plus. We had a poor experience at the hotel restaurant but otherwise enjoyed our stay.

Very modern hotel with all the amenities - kettle, mini fridge, iron, safe. Very good breakfast and nice bar in the lobby area. Comfortable beds, nice linens. Sliding doors separate "bathroom/dressing area" from the rest of the room. Toilet and shower behind their own doors within the dressing area.

The hotel is great, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the food was much better than I expected. The bed was comfortable and the location is great too. There is a parking garage was right next door available for self-park. The breakfast buffet was higher quality than I standard. This hotel is a great price and value. I also had laundry done and the service was high quality and fast. I will absolutely be returning in the future.

We fell in love with Oviedo and one of the best parts was our hotel choice. The lobby and bar area are warm and convivial. Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet and well-appointed. Staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

Room was nice, clean. Dental kit, vanity kit and shaving kit provided. Breakfast buffet is well-stocked, with added options from the kitchen, and the staff very helpful. Tip: See picture, entry by the coffee machine. In addition to a hidden drawer of Schär-product (croissants, crackers, cereal bars, different types of chocolate bars), the kitchen will heat up gluten free mini-baguettes with crunchy crust (Betina) in 10 minutes upon request. Suitable for single travellers.

Not a bad location but in a very noisy street and when we asked about moving from the noisy front of the hotel we were advised that all of the premium rooms were on that side - some great design there! One night in 5 we couldn't turn off the some of the lights and it was too late to do anything about it until the morning. Not expected at this level of cost.

Nice hotel in a great area in Oviedo, not far from the park or cathedral. Safe feel, excellent service, remodeled room, great breakfast buffet, and good food at the restaurant. As with most places here, dinner opens late. If you're used to eating before 9pm, I suggest finding a Sidreria nearby for a drink and small snack.
