My nephew and I stayed for 3 nights, bed and breakfast. Rooms were lovely, and as a tea loving Brit I was happy there was a kettle in the room! Breakfast was great, lots of choice and good food. Quirky decor throughout the hotel, which I loved. The rooftop terrace is absolutely brilliant! The pool is more of a plunge pool, excellent for cooling off after a very hot day of sightseeing! Amazing views and Mojitos 😎

The room itself is nice—spacious, and the curtains fully block out light when needed. The shower has good pressure and the bathroom area in general is easy to use/well designed.||There are a lot about this hotel that rub me the wrong way—mainly the service. We were in the room when room service came in. I watched the way they cleaned the bathroom area. It was really jarring because after wiping the sink, the cleaner used the same cloth to wipe the inside of the cups used for drinking/washing your mouth. She also took one of my plastic bags and threw it away. ||Secondly, the hotel only provides bottled water for the first night. This sounds like a non issue at first, but the tap water isn’t drinkable, and you can’t ask the front desk for more water. The bottled water at the bar is 4 euros and at the front is 2.5 euros, which is ridiculous given that it’s super hot and we’re already paying so much for a stay. The bottles are also super tiny. Front desk told me I could buy water from the nearby supermarket, but it’s the principle of it all.||Finally, we decided to keep the waterbottles to reuse, but room service had come in and thrown all of them away even though we had placed them with personal belongings. It makes me feel that they’ll just throw away anything that looks like trash.||Overall there’s a lot that the hotel can do to improve, and it really does not lose much from just providing basic necessities. Even restaurants give free water.

This hotel is one that both my husband and I had wanted to travel to for a while, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked into the hotel and were offered a welcome drink we were made to feel important as a guest in the hotel. Queries were handled efficiently and the rooms were well equipped. The reception staff offered suggestions for getting around the city, which were helpful. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a great rapport with the staff on the rooftop bar. We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone.

During my stay at this hotel (room 306), I had an entirely unacceptable experience. A white shirt worth around €90 disappeared from my room after the housekeeping staff had cleaned it. I had left it clearly visible on the bed, and after the cleaning, it was simply gone. I immediately reported it at the front desk and followed up multiple times. No one had the courage to tell me in person that I would not be refunded. After days of silence, I finally received a cold and arrogant reply telling me to “take the matter to court.” No accountability, no respect for the guest. The bathroom in the room was ridiculous – essentially a tiny storage closet. The toilet was stuck inside a cramped separate space with a thin sliding door, which literally felt like walking into a wardrobe. Totally inadequate for a hotel in this category. And the much-advertised rooftop pool? Sure, it looks great in photos – but in reality, it only fits 6 or 7 people at most, making it completely useless for the majority of guests, especially during peak hours. The food wasn’t terrible, but it was grossly overpriced for the quality and variety offered. Overall, the value for money throughout the stay was very disappointing. With missing personal belongings, poor communication, undersized amenities, and unprofessional management, I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Never again.

The rooms are absolutely beautiful. The rooftop pool is a bit small, but very well-maintained and pleasant. The view from up there is stunning. The location is in a bit of a “rough” neighborhood, but if that doesn’t bother you, this place is a great choice. We were a couple traveling together and felt completely safe throughout our stay. In general, there’s a strong police presence in Barcelona, especially in areas like this — both in uniform and undercover — which made us feel even more secure. The breakfast was always fresh, with plenty of variety: sweet, savory, and fresh fruit options. All in all, we would definitely book this hotel again.

Came ro eat at the Barcelo Raval’s restaurant, and it was a lovely experience! The food was really nice, the drinks were good too, the staff were so polite, and the service was excellent! But this is nothing compared to the 360 views at the top of the hotel! There is a full cocktail bar at the top of the hotel (floor 11), a small swimming pool, and a large seating area that runs all the way round the hotel (360), with the most amazing and breathtaking views, especially at night time… Both the wife and I loved this place, and we will definitely visit again! See you soon. 😀🥳🎉🎊|Have Wife kivw😀

Google
Great place. Compact, but efficiently laid out room with very comfy king size bed. Very clean. AC works well. Nice shower with plenty of hot water. Very friendly staff. Easy check in. Roof top bar with panoramic view. Pool is more of a wading pool. Easy walk to the Ramblas. All in all a nice place to stay.

Google
The hotel is decent, though not great. The positives are that the overall vibe inside the hotel is chic. The rooftop bar is fantastic. The gym is pretty good. The negatives … the immediate neighborhood is not nice |even though it’s a close walk to the Gothic Quarter. It feels unsafe for women to walk at night. Young local men loudly congregate right outside the hotel until 5am nightly. The hotel allows guests to come in and use the gym showers while waiting for their rooms to be ready for check in, which is not a practice at higher end hotels. The room AC is not adjustable … it is obviously set by the hotel for all. And coffee in the room was not replenished.

Yelp
I'm a hotel snob, but I try to be objective so here's some pros and cons: Pros: the 360 rooftop bar is incredible. Absolutely stunning views, a nice little soaking pool, and great bar service. I spent most of my time on the 11th floor. Definitely a wonderful spot. Cons: it's a weird hotel. They were definitely going for quirky/chiche but then lost a lot of functionality and comfort in the process. The lighting is ridiculous- dark tunnels of hallways with LEDs set into the walls. If you have to use the common bathroom prepare to be plunged into darkness for your toilet adventures. The lighting in the actual rooms is also strange; you have to put your key card into the wall to get any of them to work (and then most of them don't work anyways). The hotel's location is a bit seedy. The square right outside is a known area of theft and pickpocketing so be aware if you are a tourist. The apartment complex on the other side is loud until all hours of the night and the windows provide little noise insulation. Definitely not a safe area to walk at night. The rooms were averagely clean, although there were some obvious moldy patches in the grout of the shower. And finally, we had no housekeeping service during our 3 day stay. We would be out most of the day with the "please clean" sign on our door only to return to the room exactly as we had left it. As a disclaimer, I did not choose this hotel as it was booked for us by a travel agent. I would not stay here of my own will and would not recommend anyone else to.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for 5 days and before booking we read a lot of reviews beforehand on how well situated it was here, how nice the view were at the rooftop and how modern the rooms looked. Now it's my turn to be able to write my review on our experience. Check in is at 2pm and checkout is at 12noon. (Love that the checkout is at 12 especially if we needed to get to the airport a little later). When we checked in, they had welcome drinks ready for us! They're not too strict about time of check in, we were about 1.5 delayed and they didn't mention anything to us. All the reviews about the location being centrally located was spot on! Took the Aerobus from the airport which stops at Placa Catalunya which is a 15 min walk to this hotel or you can take the Metro just 1 stop which is a 6-7 min walk! We wanted to be very close to a Metro so that it would be an easy commute to other places and we did, almost everyday! The M3 Liceu was the closest metro! 6-7 mins walk was La Boquera Market, La Ramblas and maybe 10 mins from Gothic Center and 12-15 to El born! The hotel is right across El Gato! The only downside to this location was all the migrants that were around here and toward the back of the hotel which didn't seem too safe of an area if walking alone at night. Atleast this was my observation, although nothing happened! There were supermarkets and lots of stores nearby which was great and bakeries for breakfast which was a plus! The lobby inside was chic and gave me NYC Standard hotel vibes, they even had a black horse! At the standard they had a white one at their rooftop bar! The hotel had every single window railing block which was a killer for taking pictures from your window. I understand taking safety precautions though, but don't expect to be able to take pics from your window or have a balcony! Another downside was the breakfast at this hotel! It was €18 PP and we did not opt for the breakfast to be included (with all the bakeries with fresh goodies and cafe we didn't think we needed to) and after tasting their breakfast one morning we were happy we didn't opt for this add on! They had a huge spread! Buffet style but it wasn't any good! Getting coffee at the machine wasn't easy at all and scrambled eggs tasted like carton ones which is surprising in Europe! The only good thing was the fruit!! My recommendation is not to get the breakfast here and go to 365 bakery right around the corner! The front desk staff was always pleasant and very helpful!! We had a king size bed on the 7th floor and thought the room was just right for us. It was just right for us two! No complaints there, they had a safe easy to use and the shower head was nice and big! They provided 2 bottles of water just the first day, normally hotels would give 2 bottles daily but this one did not. However they gave us a little bottle of red, on them! The famous 360 rooftop terrace view was a great way to end each night we had which is exactly what we did! After every night we just had a nightcap and it was pretty spectacular and calming! And my husband wakes up earlier than me so he was able to see amazing views of the sunrise at 7 too, one of the best views he's ever had of the sunrise he raves about! The rooftop is on the 10th floor, drinks were overpriced but you are paying for more than the drinks here! Two aperol spritz which was our drink of choice was €25, so def overpriced! On our last day, our flight wasn't until the evening so we weren't rushing to check out. Luckily check out was already at noon and every 2 hours after was €11 so we did a late checkout at 2pm and when we checked out, we asked the lobby to hold on to our luggage so we can enjoy the neighborhood and rooftop one last day before leaving and they did, gladly at no charge or timeframe! We had a great stay overall! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the breakfast they offer! Thanks Barcelo Raval for the hospitality!

Yelp
Great views. Great drinks. Memorable last night in Barcelona. 360 views and chill music made for a special evening.

Yelp
The 360 bar is a must see if in the area. A gorgeous fall day accompanied delicious cocktails and a beautiful view of Barcelona from the 11th floor. Service was excellent! This was a nice deviation from the running around that tourists often do when visiting and I found the time here watching seagulls to be much needed.

Yelp
The hotel is clean but very dark inside. The neighborhood is lovely by day but dodgy at night.

Yelp
Wonderful, fun, entertaining hotel with amazing food. Food is very good with great pricing. Rooms had big beds, large showers with good hight and water temperature and pressure! Would recommend

Yelp
My stay was definitely comfortable. Clean facility, bed and pillows were comfortable. The interior was too dark for me from hotel lobby to elevator to hallway to room. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast were the same every day and I opted for it since it's much more convenient, most were ok except for the scrambled eggs which tasted funky. The location is NOT desirable, it's definitely ghetto. I would not return here. The metros station were all about 10 mins walk which is ok during daytime but I wouldn't recommend at night to be walking around the neighborhood.

Yelp
This review is specific to the rooftop. I was looking for a nice rooftop since it was a warm day after touring La Basilica. I came across 360 Rooftop on yelp while walking on Las Ramblas. Upon walking in the hotel looked very modern and chic. There's an elevator that takes you up to the rooftop, although it is rather tiny and cramped. The views were breathtaking and we were able to see the sunset. It wraps around the entire perimeter and has a small pool. There's also a mini area with fake grass and bean bags. I started with a rose but then made the change to the Aperol Spritz as it seemed like a pretty popular drink. It tasted pretty good and was not too bitter. I got a good buzz off of 2 of them. I'm not sure if they serve any food as I didn't see a menu so I wouldn't suggest coming here hungry. Highly recommended especially in the summer. I will definitely return on my next visit to BCN.

Yelp
We stopped here on our drunken trip through el Ravel. This was our second stop after Bar Marsella. We ended up closing this place. We were here in late March. Cold and not a lot of people here. Great funky hotel lobby. Elevator to the top. Seem like it's a happening place in summer. Had a couple of cocktails - staff was nice enough and attentive. Drinks a little over prices but great view - good times!

Yelp
*** This review is for 360 degree rooftop *** I wanted some sick views of the city for some drinks after dinner to enjoy the views and conversation. I turned to my trusty Yelp app. While surfing through the bars and rooftop hotels I came across the 360 at the Barcelo Raval and saw the views and said to myself we need to come here. Take an elevator to the rooftop and boom views for days! The roof top is trendy with amazing views of the entire city. You can grab a drink and walk around or sit at one of the high tops that circulate the entire rooftop. The roof top is circular (360) so you can view the city from all angles. Let me say the views are breathtaking, you can truly marvel the beauty that is Barcelona at night. The cocktails are what I expected, my girlfriend had wine because... well it's Spain and I enjoyed a Mojito with Havana Club that was sweet and refreshing. I absolutely recommend coming here during the day or night for good drinks and spectacular views!

Yelp
Our stay at Barcelo Raval was decent. The front desk was nice and the hotel itself is pretty chic with all it's contemporary art. The rooms were nicely designed but is starting to show it's age. For the price, the hotel did it's job. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the location is in Raval, known to be the seedy part of Barcelona because of drugs and prostitution (which we didn't know until we arrived). While I didn't notice much of this kind of activity, the streets are definitely a bit ghetto. Don't worry, it's european ghetto and not south central Los Angeles ghetto so we never felt like we were at risk, just something to note if you book your hotel here. The nearest metro is about a 10 min walk away on La Rambla. If you need a late night drink, there's a pretty cool cafe right across from the entrance of the hotel.

Yelp
Great hotel with reasonable prices. Wifi is free, and there is a roof top bar. Great views from the roof top, though we didn't spend much time up there. Laundry is available for a fee; I had a pair of jeans cleaned for 10.50 euro. Excellent location, within walking distance to many fantastic tapas restaurants, bars, attractions, etc. We were able to check in a bit early, which was very helpful. Staff was friendly. They offer a complimentary glass of champagne, which was nice. The room was a bit cool, and changing the room temperature controls had no effect. This was only a minimal inconvenience, we didn't even ask for help.
google avatar

Yelp
The prettiest sunset view in the city (that's easily accessible)! We ordered a mojito, sangria, and a gin & tonic. Gin & tonic was the way to go, for sure! Please order one... trust me. Sangria was great too. It gets a bit crowded, so I'd recommend going a bit before sunset to get a good seat by the glass. Highly recommend this awesome spot!

Yelp
We stayed here for two nights in August. BOOK THE BREAKFAST!!! The building looks like a mini tower. It's cute one might say- Once checkin is complete they offer you a glass of cava (Spanish sparkling wine) The rooms are modern and have automatic curtains. Bed is extremely comfortable. We got upgraded to the city view which was cool but there is a metal grate that takes away from the view. Nespresso machine in the room. The hotel features a rooftop 360 view and a pool. The pool is right next to the bar which is nice, but it only fits 8 people max. The rooftop is not just for hotel guests- it seems they may advertise the rooftop locally as an attraction.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in October. The hotel was clean with a fun and funky vibe that we really enjoyed. We absolutely loved the rooftop lounge, that alone made the stay worth it. The service was good. We got in reeeally late (about 1:30am) and it was nice to have a friendly, quick, and smooth check in process. The location was decent. There are some restaurants and shopping near by that are walking distance but to get to any real land marks you'll have to cab it or take a train. The neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy at times but overall we felt pretty safe. My only complaint is that the bathroom door didnt shut. It stayed cracked about an inch. So I hope you're real cozy with whoever you're rooming with, cause if not, you're about to!
google avatar

Sophie S.

Yelp
Amazing location for a 360 degree rooftop terrace bar with a pool. You can walk around and see the sea on one end and the Sagrada Familia on the other. Drinks themselves are nothing special but somewhat reasonably priced. Down on the lobby there's a dark and moody decor and overall a stylish ambience. The area can seem sketchy depending on the street / corner you head to, but if you keep your wits about and stay by the crowds there would be nothing to fear.

Yelp
Great: - hotel - staff - rooftop view - value - location - decor My friend and I had a nice stay here. Can't really complain. I'd definitely stay again.

Yelp
I stayed at the Barcelo Ravel with my fiancé when visiting Barcelona recently. It is a great hotel. We were specifically looking for something a little nicer than your average room and this was definitely that. There is a big emphasis on design at this hotel. There is a lot of art (contemporary), structure and plenty of mood lighting. The rooms are very modern. I had trouble sleeping on the bed as I found it a little soft, but my other half thought it was very comfortable. This just shows that it can all come down to personal taste. We also had a little trouble with the air conditioning. It only went down to 18 degrees but it was much too warm at night. There was a huge shower cubicle in the room with overhead rain shower, plus a handheld shower head. The bedroom and bathroom are fairly open plan so I wouldn't advise staying here with anyone you are not intimately comfortable with. For instance, the back wall of the shower is transparent so you can see almost everything from the bed! Also, there is not much distance between the bed and the toilet (not great for new couple romantic getaways). The staff at this hotel were very polite but there did not seem to be enough of them. Whenever I needed to go to reception there was always a queue with only one or two people working. The best thing about this hotel is the top floor which offers a rooftop pool, cocktail bar, plentiful seating and 360 degree views of Barcelona (complete with a handful of telescopes placed intermittently around the exterior) . This is definitely a must see even if you aren't staying at the hotel. Despite the little issues that I have detailed, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Madeline B.

Yelp
This hotel is very nice. I love the design and vibes inside. The rooftop has an awesome 360 view of Barcelona like no other. The rooms were quite comfortable and the beds were incredibly comfy too. I had a great stay here overall. Each day we were able to walk to great places because of the hotels great location. However, I give this place four stars because of safety reasons. The area it is in seems as if it is up and coming. At the moment, the area is not the safest. There were two shootings in the span of two days during our 4 day stay. The locals warned us to watch our belongings due to pick pocketers. The area is always poppin' with people. Overall, the area does seem a bit rough at the moment. Each day we went to different areas so this did not bother us too much because we weren't at the hotel or near the hotel throughout most of the day.
google avatar

Rocky M.

Yelp
Wow! What an incredible view on the rooftop! We just happened to come here on a night where a fireworks show broke out (which seems to happen quite often with us, fortunately). If you're in Barcelona, check the rooftop out!

Yelp
As far as hotels go, Barcelo Raval has a lot going for it. It's a boutique hotel enclosed in iron mesh with a funky yet trendy vibe and great service. The rooms are small (we stayed in a superior room) but sleek with white+lime green accents and luxurious amenities. Don't be a dork like me and try to open the curtains by force to see out the windows ("What is WRONG with these curtains? Why won't they OPEN!!!! OMG it's so claustrophobic in here!!!"). The curtains are on an automatic track and can be opened by using the buttons next to your bed. The lobby has a combined Gothic Retro look if that's even a thing but it's a great place to people watch and enjoy tapas with strong cocktails and listen to deejays spinning at night. On the rooftop there's a pool and the most amazing 360° views of the city. It's worth it to visit the rooftop just to catch that view. There's tons of seating and cocktail tables that are ideal for sitting and relaxing-I would imagine it would be particularly nice during the summer. The hotel is in the Raval neighborhood which is ideal since it's not too touristy but close enough that you can walk to lots of restaurants and areas of interest. Barri Gòtic, Plaza de Catalunya, Mercat de La Boqueria, Ramblas, and the modern art museums MACBA and CCCB are all within walking distance. So is Quimet & Quimet, the one restaurant that cannot be missed while you are in Barcelona. WiFi is free which is pretty much a deal closer for me but trust me, this place has it going on.

Yelp
This hotel won't be for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's super clean, cool, and has friendly staff. The shower is big and warm, the beds are very comfy, and it's amazingly quiet considering all the noise that's happening in the Raval area. It has a beautiful view from the top and a clean swimming pool (which you can't swim in, it's too small). They have a solid fitness center (one of each kind of machine) that stays pretty empty, which I personally liked. They also have a pull-up bar and free weights. Also . . . FREE WI-FI!! I feel like a lot of hotels in Barcelona have yet to add that to their list of freebies. Things that people might not like: You can't open a window - it's air conditioning or nothing. Some people may like the idea of fresh breeze, although Barcelona air is so polluted, they might be doing you a favor. It's not really for kids (in my opinion). They have a bar on top and a shmoozy lounge, so it seems more adult. It's on the Rambla de Raval, right next to a "questionable" area that has a few streetwalkin' ladies. If that doesn't bother you, then you're fine. If it does, then you should probably find a hotel in the Eixample or a nicer neighborhood. I, for one, thought it gave the area flavor. If I ever stay in Barcelona again, I'd strongly consider the Hotel Barcelo!

Yelp
That s what I am talking about! Wow Wow Wow! That s how a hotel should work and function. I am sooo impressed with the Barcelo Raval I did not want to check out. At all. Never!!! I was clearly not ready leaving the cool funky atmosphere and most wonderful place, so I stretched the time to the limit and said bye bye right on the dot at 12 noon. Special thanks to Julian, receptionist, most professional hippy, always with a smile on his face and oh so "naughty" (in a good way). He made us welcome when we checked in, explained everything to the fullest and made sure we knew about the chill out opening times in the 360º bar. The double (deluxe) room we had was beyond words and I knew straight away: that is my thing! Special features are a coffee machine (in every room), and the automatic curtains. The amenities are well selected and plenty, the towels soft and the toilet is out of space. The Minibar is full of goodies and not too ridiculously prized. The bed: huge and comfy and ........ huge! No need to ask questions like: where or when is that? Cause at check-in we were given a little notebook (in castellano, english and catalan) with the metro opening times, map of the area and trip and tricks. Very cleverly done and pocket sized. If that is not enough information you will find a whole bunch of magazines about the city in your room. The hotel design is definitely unique and not only were my eyes treated to something nice but my nose as well. The smell in the entire building is fantastic. ( Wonder what they use, gotta have that for my flat, too). I could go on and on and on but one more thing i to be mentioned: the chill out bar on the 12th floor! Do not miss out on it. It is worth a visit and we actually just wanted to have 1 sundowner...well we stayed for 4! Pure relaxation! What do I say: do not only read my review: GO THERE yourself. Even if it is just for lunch or dinner. The food and service is exceptionally good. For lunch I had the vegetarian BBox which was to die for and is a reason to go back. I highly recommend the Barcelo for everyone who is in the city! Book in advance though (especially in the summer time) as they are quickly fully booked.

Yelp
Nice hotel in Barcelona. Close to Las Ramblas and tons of eating choices close by. Service was very friendly and 360 round rooftop bar area was very instagram worthy. I was not a fan of the room though because the lighting is fluorescent and made me feel like I was in a garage. Bed was comfortable. The pool on the roof was tiny and oddly shaped.

Sam S.

Yelp
Really decent hotel at a great price. Staff were friendly and spoke english. Location was great, taxi stand right outside and a couple of supermarkets and restaurants. The room was cool, with mood lights and interesting modern decor, electronic curtains. The beds were amazing, so comfertable. The pool is very small and the sauna also small but they were fine. The 360 degree rooftop offered great views of the city. Only negatives were that there wasnt much sound proofing, there was shouting in the street and all was heard from the room on the 4th floor. Also noises from above and in corridor. Additionally, when you say each room has a nespresso machine and you end up with a kettle, don't say you will get one! Overall i would reccomend this hotel, great value and comfortable and clean.

Yelp
The upstairs 360 bar area is really great to go up on a sunny clear day and grab some breakfast/brunch and enjoy the sun. I did not stay at the hotel, but inside it looked very modern and clean-- there were some pretty kitschy furniture, but it gave the place some character.

Yelp
Amazing 360 degree view. Limited bar selection but prices reasonable considering the setting.

Yelp
This is an amazing property. Funky design and close to everything you want to see. The staff is super friendly and easy to work with. The views from the rooftop bar are excellent and the bar staff is top notch. I would highly recommend this hotel. Excellent value for the price

While the bar service is painfully slow, it's still a nice vantage point. I will probably return, armed with plenty of patience.

Yelp
I have such a mixed reaction to this place. I'll start with what I liked, and then move on to what I didn't: Pros: Hotel: VERY MODERN, ultra swanky, dimly lit, cool, cool, cool. Rooms have floor to ceiling windows and a blackout moving curtain. Everything is electronic from a touchpad near your bed, including your ac, curtains and lights. You can get free wifi, but you have to ask (you have to get a personal username and password, plus you have to re-sign in every time you lose reception). Food: Pay for breakfast every morning, it is definitely worth it. Tips: They serve you Nespresso if you as for it. They also serve champagne :) Location: Situated in the Raval distrit, which used to be the red light district, but now boasts a very diverse population along with still a few ladies of the street. Location is central to wherever you want to be, and I actually enjoyed being in a place that was so diverse. Outside the hotel is an oval shaped blvd and on the weekends they have live concerts, outdoor dining and events. It's nice to have a lot going on near your hotel. Cons: Hotel: The AC only goes down to 17 degrees celsius. While this was OK most nights as long as we blacked out the curtains, one night we sweated like crazy. Service: Lady at front desk = rude. Man standing at the door doing nothing all day = useless. Asking for a cab to the airport = THEY WON'T. What kind of hotel is this? There was a rollerblading race going on outside so we couldn't find a cab. The hotel refused to call us one. We had to drag our luggage to another hotel that proceeded to call us a cab. ???? I give this place a 4 because of all the pros, but SERVICE really needs IMPROVEMENT.

Yelp
Although I didn't stay here, my girlfriend and I visited a few times just for the 360 view on the rooftop. It gives you a beautiful view of the entire city from the ocean to the mountains. Very nice place to just sit down, converse, enjoy a drink, and soak in the landscape.

Yelp
I absolutely loved my stay in this hotel. It's a rew blocks away from Las Ramblas and la boqueria. The hotel itself is great, very trendy and the breakfast buffet is out of this world, incredibly unexpected if I'm being honest. My room was always clean and even the hallways smelled freshly clean all the time. The upstairs panoramic view was awesome and so was the bar. I highly recommend this placement time you're in Barcelona.

Yelp
A great hotel in a fantastic location! I was in Barcelona on my own for a work conference and the airline had lost my luggage. The front desk staff was so helpful in letting me know where I could get replacement clothes, toiletries, etc. The room itself was very modern and clean. The rooftop bar is great, although pretty quiet when I was there. The only thing I'd say is that the front lobby has a very overpowering scent of men's cologne (think Abercrombie & Fitch) when you walk in. Not too bad, but still pretty strong. Highly recommend this hotel otherwise.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this hotel. It is centrally located to shops, restaurants, museums, etc. Allowing you to walk to any destination. Excellent service! Modern, colorful, and a bit of Alice in Wonderland feel!

Yelp
This review is for the rooftop, not the actual hotel. This hotel is a great place to sneak into, and by sneak, I mean walk through the front door, jump into the elevator and hit the button for the top floor. The rooftop is a nice oasis, complete with a sweeping 360 view of the city. The hotel itself is quite an eyesore and doesn't really fit into the aesthetic of the Raval District, but I surely recommend a foray onto the rooftop for a nice view of Barcelona.

Yelp
My first impression was great, however the lighting arrangements in the lobby and the rooms remind me of some other late night establishments. The open design of the bathroom is weird and claustrophobic. The idea of two single beds squeezed together as a double bed is one, I am not a fan of either. Friendly staff, great location!

Yelp
Pretty good hotel in a very convenient place - a quick walk to La Rambla, 15 minutes to the beach, and a quick walk to several metro stations that take you everywhere else. My complaints are that although I guess I like the big metal mesh covering I wish I could have opened the window, and the receptionist wasn't very helpful (told me I didn't need to call and make a reservation for a restaurant near the beach and once I got there I found that clearly wasn't true and when giving me directions to touristy place they could have also told me that I should buy tickets online instead of getting there and standing in line for a ticket). Also, the brunch is weird - they seem to push it as the really 'cool' thing to do on Sunday but when I stopped by (didn't go) there was no one there and for the price the food didn't seem especially spectacular. Otherwise, a nice comfortable and quiet place. Was glad I stayed here but don't feel like I need to go back - next time I'll check out another neighborhood.

Yelp
This was my first trip to Barcelona and i had no idea what to expect. Read many reviews and was skeptical about the location of the hotel but the idea of the pool was hard to resist. The hotel was AMAZING. We arrived to it in the middle of the night, only to find out that our reservation was for same time NEXt year. Hotel Stuff was super accommodating. Within 20 min we got 2 rooms(was suppose to have triple )until the next morning, until we figure out how to deal with MY mistake. Next day, another group of friendly staff presented me to a triple room, with an amazing view(ask for higher floors for better view). Room was big, clean, very modern(my daughter loved all the buttons)and the beds were VERY COMFORTABLE. The only down side to it, there was no door between bedroom and the shower and i had to accidentally get a peek of my mother showering. i hanged my scarf in the door frame and that resolved all the "problems" The Barcelo 360 bar with a pool was superb. I wasn't planing to make laps in the pool so its small size didn't bother me. It was fabulous to end an afternoon on roof with a yummy Sangria and stunning views of the city. Walk to Ramblas takes 5-10 min. and even though it seems little sketchy, didn't cause any issues. 10-15 min to the coast and the Hop on hop off tour bus (which i highly recommend). over all loved it!!!!! very modern, very W style, cool and hip. stuff very friendly rooms clean and functional A/C worked perfectly. you get better deals when book through hotel website.

Yelp
I booked this hotel on my first trip to Barcelona which was part of a bigger trip including Paris and London. Wanting to stay in Design hotels, this seemed too well priced and centrally located to pass up. It is indescribably modern and styled to perfection. Every inch of the hotel from the lobby/lounge/room to rooftop which is a 360 degree view of Barcelona screams Sex. We stayed in the junior suite which is their largest room on the floor in 920 which has a separate living room with bathroom in the middle and a king sized bedroom. The bed may be bigger than a regular king, it was enormous. If you are sharing the room in this hotel with someone you are not very close to, it may not be the hotel for you because with modern design and lots of glass, you will see each other naked at some point. It is a 5minute walk to La Ramblas, the Champs Elysees of Barcelona. You can take this street down to the water which we did on our first night for paella and tapas or the other way, deep into the city into Exiample, or cross La Ramblas into Barri Gotic. The incredible Farmer's Market is on La Ramblas very close to the hotel where you can buy every single fresh fruit ready to eat to chocolates and ham. There also great restaurants in the market you can sample everything sold in the market. There are chain hotels more familiar and higher priced hotels I've seen friends stay at in the city but this is where I'll be returning.

Yelp
Coming from the hospitality business it's (unfortunately) difficult to be impressed with GOOD SERVICE. However when it happens it's a joy and let me tell you what a pleasure this hotel was to stay in. Sure it's funky and hip and cool and different and trendy but what sets Barcelo Raval apart for me is the excellent service. From the onset Julian in reception set the tone: funny, informative, naughty, professional and really happy. And followed on from there, from the lunch waitress to the chill-out bar staff to the porter to the housekeeping staff to the breakfast waitresses..... In fact everyone we came into contact with was polite, happy and friendly. As for the amenities, top class. The rooms obviously are state of the art, the common areas interesting and inviting but the highlight has to be the chill-out area on the room from 6pm on. Do yourself a favor and take sundowners there one night but just make sure you get there early as it does get very very busy. Free wifi is available throughout the hotel and two iMacs are available in the lounge for you to use. There is a gym and spa downstairs but you probably won't use it as there is so much else to do here. Overall a fantastic place to visit and well worth it!!!!!

Yelp
My wife and I spent four nights at Barcelo Raval and were very happy. The location is very centrally located, and not right on the La Rambla, which is a good thing. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are very good for what I have typically found in Europe. The decor is very modern, and they make good use of the space. You definitely won't go wrong by choosing this hotel.

Yelp
I was looking for a great view of Barcelona without climbing a lot of steps Barceló Raval was perfect! My sister and I enjoyed walking around and seeing the 360 view of Barcelona and also had a great glass of Sangria. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the city.

Yelp
One of the BEST views of Barcelona in all of Barcelona! You get a 360 degree view of the whole city. The hotel has telescopes around the circumference of the building. It is smack dab in El Raval and you can see the beach, Montjuic, Tibidabo, MNAC, La Sagrada Familia. This lookout spot is exclusive to hotel members but I am a student in Barcelona and I just walked in like I owned the place and took the elevator to the 11th floor. Upon exiting the elevator, I feasted my eyes on this breathtaking view. It's a must go!!

Yelp
This hotel looks very nice inside and out. The hotel inside is very dim lit. You would think you're in a scary movie or something. Everything in the room is electronic. Windows cannot be opened . The air conditioning is very poor. The room Only feels fresh. You cannot lower the thermostat. There is no AC in the hallways. When you come out of your room is very hot outside. Shower is see through. If you're not traveling with your spouse, very little privacy. Swimming pool on the top, very small. I wouldn't even call it a swimming pool, cause you can't swim in it. The pro's of this hotel are that ,it's very clean and ,state of the art technology. It's very close to everything. Las Ramblas is walking distance. There are many restaurants close to it. Would we stay here again??? NO

Yelp
I booked Barcelo Ravel for our honeymoon based on the Tripadvisor reviews and I was not disappointed. It's in the Ravel district of Barcelona which is a little run down but on the up, kind of like a Soho sort of area. The hotel itself is located on Ramblas Del Raval which is a small square surrounded by restaurants and local shops. A brilliant area. We were 10 minutes walking distance from the main Rambla with all the shops and millions of tourists and the Liceu Metro station (which is on the Green Line - Line 3). Also, we were 10 minutes walk from the CCCB and MACBA museums which are a must see. The harbour/port and beach are also easy walking distance with more fantastic bars and restaurants on the way. Our room at the hotel was one of the Superior rooms on the 8th floor with a view out over the local area, not super exciting but better than looking at the side of a building! The super king size bed was a little on the large size but it was really comfortable with lots of pillows. I especially liked the shower; a large glass cubicle with a single large head on the ceiling with excellent water pressure. A nice bonus in the room was an Nespresso machine which was free to use and was restocked every time the room was cleaned! All in all we loved our trip to Barcelona but next time we'll probably stay somewhere a little cheaper as this was a real treat for our honeymoon.
