This quiet little lounge is located at Disney's Coronado Resort in the Grand Destino Tower, right off the lobby. They are open for breakfast and then again in the afternoon/evening. This is what it says, a lounge. We have been here a few times, mainly for breakfast but have also visited in the afternoon for a cocktail. You will not need to be staying at Coronado to visit, however, it might be difficult to park here if you are not staying or do not have a reservation. Disney has been getting tougher on parking at the resorts.
I personally prefer breakfast, if I had only ever been here for breakfast, my rating would be higher. It can be busy at breakfast since the Tower really only has this for food and coffee. If you are looking for a bigger, more options, breakfast, you need to head to the original part of the hotel. There are a few grab and go items and a few hot items available in the morning. There are also coffee options such as lattes and espressos. They have a few tables around as well as seating outside on the lawn (just a few chairs). This is very comfy, with large booths and lounge chairs. I feel like the thought is grab and go or take back to your room as there was never enough seating for the amount of people in line. It is also very beautiful inside with high chandeliers, lots of light from the high windows and views of the lake.
My rating of 3 is due to the last time we checked in. We came in the afternoon, wanting a cocktail before heading to their other bar, Dahlia Lounge. They open about an hour and half before Dahlia Lounge opens so we thought it would be a good place to sit. We sat at the bar, which has a ton of seats. After sitting down, it took about 15 minutes for someone to actually come over to us, even with multiple eye contact, smiles and such to get their attention. At one point, the bartender even came over on our side, and did not even look at us. They just continued to help people walking up to the middle of the bar and the guests sitting on the other side. I finally went up and asked if we had to order in the middle, and we were told, "No, I'll be there in a moment". Which took a few more minutes. Once we ordered, he passed our order over to the other bartender. We just really felt not wanted and almost a hassle even though we were ordering drinks. We would have left, but we were not in a rush and still around 45 minutes till the actual place we wanted to go was opening.
My wife was highly annoyed so just ordered an espresso. It was made fresh from a very nice espresso machine. It was fine. I ordered a Cafesito Delicioso - Kamora Coffee Liqueur, Licor 43, Espresso, and Heavy Cream. A lot of their coffee drinks with alcohol are made with heavy cream. However, a plus for the bartender, was she offered to make it without the heavy cream and just used milk, instead. She overheard me talking about the cream with my wife. I did think that was very responsive and nice of her.
We didn't order but, they also offer some small snacks such as hummus and charcutier items at the bar. It's pretty quiet here in the afternoon and actually very peaceful.
All in all, this is a lounge, nothing more. It's decent, nothing I would brag over and over about. I think service is better in the morning, but it could have been an off day last time we went. If you are staying here, I would say go. I would not suggest making a special trip to the resort just to come here.
