My daughter and I stayed in Barcelona, Spain, a few years ago, and we were really excited to experience this lounge and recall our wonderful memories of our trip there. Balcony Lounge did not disappoint. The vibe was vibrant, energetic, and colorful like the city. The brilliant stained-glass wall behind the bar was spectacular. We stopped in to bring breakfast back up to our room upstairs but lingered for a while to absorb the beauty of this lounge. It's just incredible! Located on the lower lobby level of the Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Barcelona Lounge has amazing lake views of Lago Dorado from its patio bar. Overhead was a magnificent chandelier framed by sculpted columns that brought to mind a glistening Spanish sunrise or sunset. We got a ham, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich, an espresso, a cafe con Leche with caramel, and a sugar cookie to take upstairs to our room. Everything was delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. We loved this place and look forward to coming back again!

Beautiful Lounge located on the lower level of the Gran Destino Resort in Walt Disney World. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of comfy seating. Located on the lower level of the tower, the lounge offers stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a bright, airy atmosphere during the day and a cozy, intimate vibe at night. The decor is full of rich colors, intricate tilework, and ornate lighting fixtures. The space features plush seating, high ceilings, and a sleek bar area with warm wood and gold accents. Food & Drinks • Morning: Barcelona Lounge doubles as a coffee bar in the morning, offering Spanish-style café options such as espresso, café con leche, and specialty coffees, along with pastries and light breakfast bites. • Evening: As night falls, the lounge transforms into a chic cocktail bar, featuring a selection of Spanish wines, gin & tonics, craft cocktails, and tapas-style small plates. Signature drinks often highlight Mediterranean flavors, with high-end spirits and house-made infusions. Vibe & Experience The Barcelona Lounge is perfect for guests looking for a quiet, upscale retreat away from the typical Disney hustle and bustle. It’s a great spot for a morning coffee before heading to the parks or an evening cocktail while unwinding after a long day. The mix of European elegance and Disney magic makes it a hidden gem for those who appreciate a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. I had a Cinnamon Twist Cold Brew- it was a smooth semi sweet iced coffee with hints of cinnamon- very good!! Haven’t tried the food yet but still a great place to relax and have a coffee anytime of day or night.

Felt like we hit the jackpot of having a hotel bar this amazing right downstairs in the Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs. Came down here two nights for drinks and almost every morning for breakfast wraps and coffee before hitting the parks. Benji, David and Katie are all incredible, kind and fun bartenders— not only do they make delicious cocktails, but have wonderful Disney tips and great conversation! The build your own gin and tonic (I went with elderflower) and the French 75 were some of the best I’ve ever had, and my fiance loved his manhattans and bourbon cocktails. Definitely look forward to coming back here!

After a long day at the parks, we decided we wanted a drink or two. So we hopped over to the Destini Tower’s Barcelona Lounge for some cocktails. I had The Armada and my wife had the Build Your Own Gin and Tonic. Both great drinks with interesting flavors. The Artisanal Cheeses were also phenomenal. And pricing wasn’t too bad. All in all, it’s a great place to relax after walking around the parks all morning!

Came here for my early morning coffee fix. My quad shot Americano tasted weak and watery, despite them doubling the price of my drink for the extra double shot. Don’t come here in hopes for good coffee - the ambience is nice though.

Atmosphere is amazing. I really love the aesthetic of Coronado Springs lobby area. Looks so luxurious. I got a nitro cold brew and a lavender honey yogurt parfait. The nitro cold brew was fine. The yogurt was a little too much lavender for me...tasted kind of perfume-y.

Barcelona Lounge is a hidden gem in Walt Disney World. David is a top notch bartender there who totally changed my idea of a Gin and Tonic. They personalize and handcraft every drink for you. The atmosphere is beautiful. The music is perfect. This lounge and resort is a fantastic place for adults to do Disney! Try to spot the hidden Mickey in the colorful art mural while you enjoy your drink! 😋Favorites: Cafe Bombon and Elderflower Tonic.

Yelp
This lounge is located at Disney's Coronado Resort. It is open for breakfast and then again in the afternoon/evening. It is essentially just a bar but at breakfast they do have more options. We have been here a couple of times both when staying at Coronado and then again when just visiting the resort. You do not need to be staying here to come here. For breakfast they have a few grab and go items as well as a few hot items. They also offer specialty coffee options. When we stayed here, we ate here for breakfast since it was close to our room. This lounge is located in the new Grand Destino Tower, where we stayed. There is a larger food dining area in the original area of the resort. The lounge is also attached to a nice seating area with lots of tables, booths and chairs. The view is of the lake around the resort as well as high windows. It's actually very pretty inside. Recently we were visiting the resort and decided to grab a drink before the other lounge was open. We did not have the best service this time. We sat down at the bar, which is actually really massive. It took about 15 minutes for someone to actually come over to greet us even with multiple eye contacts with the cast members. There were two people working the bar, but they kept taking care of other people sitting at the bar and people just walking up to the bar. The service was very poor. Once one of the bartenders came over, we ordered, and he ended up passing out order over to the other bartender. We just really felt not wanted and almost a hassle even though we were ordering drinks. We were not really in a rush since we had about 45 minutes till the actual place we wanted to go was opening. I ended up ordering an espresso since I was highly annoyed. It was fine, it was made fresh, they actually have a really nice espresso machine. My husband ordering a Cafesito Delicioso - Kamora Coffee Liqueur, Licor 43, Espresso, and Heavy Cream. He didn't really want the cream, but the bartender did let him know they could make it with just milk not heavy cream. I did think that was nice of them to make that suggestion and substitution. In the afternoon, they also offer some small snacks such as hummus charcutier items. It's pretty quiet here in the afternoon since most people are at the parks. It was very peaceful actually. All in all, this is a lounge, nothing more. It is pretty good, not a ton of options but definitely a stop around the resort. I would suggest breakfast more than afternoon lounging as I thought the cast members were nicer in the AM.

Yelp
If I had stayed in the tower I am sure I would've appreciated this lounge more. As I was there at odd times they didn't have what I was hoping for. Granted, I wanted a mimosa in the morning and coffee in the late afternoon and these weren't options at that time. It was very pretty. It was almost too huge for me to want to call it a lounge. It wasn't cozy. It was more of a waiting area with refreshments.

Yelp
This bar is beautiful. In the morning it serves breakfast. The croissants are so flaky and delicious. We had them several times during our visit. We also really enjoyed the coffee options. At night it transforms into a lovely cocktail bar with so many tasty drinks.

Yelp
We came here for drinks and to watch the Fireworks from kind of the side of the hotel for Disney's Hollywood studios. The drinks were good. The service was fast and the ambius was really chill, something that you would like if you were enjoying a day at the parks and you just want to unwind for a little bit.

Yelp
This quiet little lounge is located at Disney's Coronado Resort in the Grand Destino Tower, right off the lobby. They are open for breakfast and then again in the afternoon/evening. This is what it says, a lounge. We have been here a few times, mainly for breakfast but have also visited in the afternoon for a cocktail. You will not need to be staying at Coronado to visit, however, it might be difficult to park here if you are not staying or do not have a reservation. Disney has been getting tougher on parking at the resorts. I personally prefer breakfast, if I had only ever been here for breakfast, my rating would be higher. It can be busy at breakfast since the Tower really only has this for food and coffee. If you are looking for a bigger, more options, breakfast, you need to head to the original part of the hotel. There are a few grab and go items and a few hot items available in the morning. There are also coffee options such as lattes and espressos. They have a few tables around as well as seating outside on the lawn (just a few chairs). This is very comfy, with large booths and lounge chairs. I feel like the thought is grab and go or take back to your room as there was never enough seating for the amount of people in line. It is also very beautiful inside with high chandeliers, lots of light from the high windows and views of the lake. My rating of 3 is due to the last time we checked in. We came in the afternoon, wanting a cocktail before heading to their other bar, Dahlia Lounge. They open about an hour and half before Dahlia Lounge opens so we thought it would be a good place to sit. We sat at the bar, which has a ton of seats. After sitting down, it took about 15 minutes for someone to actually come over to us, even with multiple eye contact, smiles and such to get their attention. At one point, the bartender even came over on our side, and did not even look at us. They just continued to help people walking up to the middle of the bar and the guests sitting on the other side. I finally went up and asked if we had to order in the middle, and we were told, "No, I'll be there in a moment". Which took a few more minutes. Once we ordered, he passed our order over to the other bartender. We just really felt not wanted and almost a hassle even though we were ordering drinks. We would have left, but we were not in a rush and still around 45 minutes till the actual place we wanted to go was opening. My wife was highly annoyed so just ordered an espresso. It was made fresh from a very nice espresso machine. It was fine. I ordered a Cafesito Delicioso - Kamora Coffee Liqueur, Licor 43, Espresso, and Heavy Cream. A lot of their coffee drinks with alcohol are made with heavy cream. However, a plus for the bartender, was she offered to make it without the heavy cream and just used milk, instead. She overheard me talking about the cream with my wife. I did think that was very responsive and nice of her. We didn't order but, they also offer some small snacks such as hummus and charcutier items at the bar. It's pretty quiet here in the afternoon and actually very peaceful. All in all, this is a lounge, nothing more. It's decent, nothing I would brag over and over about. I think service is better in the morning, but it could have been an off day last time we went. If you are staying here, I would say go. I would not suggest making a special trip to the resort just to come here.

Yelp
Some friends and I were visiting the resort and decided to grab a drink at the bar while we waited for the rest of the group. I went with their margarita and as a lover of margs, I can say that this one was really good! It's a great open area bar with plenty of seating. The bartender was very friendly and it was the perfect beverage while we waited!

Yelp
Cool lounge in the main location of Coronado Springs. Servers were not very friendly, but they seemed to be chatty with other patrons. Did not have any food.

Yelp
I will admit this was our second choice because we had hoped to hop into the Dhalia lounge prior to dinner but they don't open until 5pm. We did enjoy our drinks! The espresso martini was perfect. They pull fresh espresso shots which happens very rarely so I suggest it. Bonus points for the view and the large menu of drinks and snacks! The one thing that bothered me is that the male server (I'm going to choose to not call him out by name here) didn't seem that excited to serve anyone. It was maybe just not his day.

Yelp
David serves the best Espresso Martini on the planet. I trust a Colombian with my life when it comes to coffee!

Yelp
Miguel knows exactly what someone needs in the morning: a cafe bombón! Make sure you stir it if you get one. It is delicious and sweet and strong and heavenly. The service is great and fast. The whole bar area is excellent for any time of day and has many hidden Mickeys.

Yelp
Barcelona Lounge is a gorgeous bar with creative cocktails and relaxed atmosphere inside the Gran Destino Tower at my favorite Disney moderate resort, Coronado Springs. They have a few light bite offerings as well which you can't go wrong but their service is really something that shines. Our favorite bartender Ryan makes a fabulous espresso martini. They have a wide variety of liquor options. You definitely have to try for yourself while visiting Disney.

Yelp
We made a reservation for 7pm and when we showed up at 7pm we were told that we would have to wait for30 minutes or more even though we had a reservation. Do not recommend coming here even if you have a reservation. Go somewhere that respects your time and will honor your reservation time.

Yelp
Beautiful bar located below the lobby in the Coronado Springs resort. In the mornings, they have Croissant sandwiches, pastries, and Spanish-themed coffees. In the evening, they have drinks and appetizers. I stopped in for breakfast on my first morning. The staff were super friendly. They do open at 6:30am when everyone else on property opens at 7am. This is helpful for us obnoxious morning people who wake up early. It times out perfectly to get up and watch the sunrise over the lake, then head in for breakfast.

Yelp
Bartender was nice and knowledgeable! Love the stained glass and the drinks were amazing! For a Friday night it wasn't too packed, I liked that.

Yelp
Do NOT go here for a cortado or Gibraltar. Its 'a tragedy for having such a beautiful Rancilio machine that they don't know how to use it. Milk was way overheated and eggy. Shots were over extracted and drink served in styrofoam

Yelp
Great place and location! Located at the bottom of the lobby at the Gran Destino Tower! They open at 6:30a-12p for coffee and breakfast items etc! Then at 3p it turns into a lounge where you can grab a cocktail or a coffee, appetizers also available and enjoy the views until 12a!

Yelp
Located on the lower level below the lobby with bar and lounge seating. Their menu is very small with only very light appetizers. They have an extensive coffee drink list and alcoholic drinks. Spanish Charcutería $14 Olives and Fig Jam served with Sourdough *delicious variety of meats, cheese and condiments with grilled bread Service was pretty terrible to god awful over the course of 4 days. They need 1-2 people to just do coffee orders. The wait times were extremely long. They seemed to be understaffed every single day and everyone was complaining about the lack of service.

Yelp
After visiting quite a few "lounges" around Disney World, we were somewhat disappointed with our experience at "Barcelona Lounge." The setting is quite pleasant, with big sweeping views of the lake that's in the middle of Coronado Springs and a large stained glass feature behind the bar that's reminiscent of the Sagrada Familia. However, the food, drinks, and service didn't really live up the the Disney standard or value that we are used to. The selection of drinks here is quite promising: they have both an array of espresso drinks (some unique to here), as well as a large selection of beer and cocktails (including Estrella Dam, one of my favorite global beers). However, we were a bit disappointed with the execution of the drinks; my wife asked for something a bit less sweet than one of the coffee drinks on the menu and the result was a drink priced over $20 (that did not seem to have ingredients that were very different from a $13 drink on the menu). The food was also a bit disappointing: while the marinated cheese in the "Taste of Barcelona" was good, the rest of the items on that plate and the charcuterie were just so/so. The charcuterie plate's selection of meat was paltry, at best. Everything in both dishes was extremely salty. WDW is an expensive place, but having dined at quite a few signature restaurants and similarly upscale lounges, including California Grill Lounge, Nomad Lounge, and Sanaa Lounge, all of the items we ordered here seemed to be of a much lower "value" than at other Disney dining choices. Lastly, the service at Barcelona did not meet the level we are used to at Disney. The server forgot my drink twice, needing to be reminded both times. He also did not bring us plates or silverware with our food, and it took us almost 10 minutes to flag someone down to get some. Lastly, the server should have also told us that the modification he suggested for my wife's drink would nearly double the cost of it. I am hopeful that this lounge will improve as time goes by, but, for now, I cannot recommended it for anything more than a beer or a to-go coffee.

Yelp
A nice chill bar to sit in for a drink in the tower. The view is nice. Can be loud since check in is going on right above you. Great selection of everything. From beer to whiskey to wine to cocktails. I had the Armada with Kentucky bourbon, cream sherry, banana liquor, cinnamon, lemon. This was really nice. Never had one before Deb had a Spanish margarita. Very tasty as well

Yelp
This rating is for daytime service, as a disclaimer. I did not try it out for drinks and appetizers in the evening. This became a regular stop every morning on our way out to the parks. Getting a good latte on the way out is so great because you need the extra pep to make it through a long day of magic in the surrounding parks! I also tried the blended iced espresso beverage and it was delish too! On top of that, there were some healthy convenience items like mandarins, cheese, parfaits, grapes, etc. for "normal" breakfast/snacks to keep me from eating mickey mouse cookies and popcorn all day long! Finally, my favorite treat here was the pastel de nata. Basically an egg custard tart. A great way to get a little sweet but a little protein to start off your day! And, it went well with the coffee! They had a decent amount of seating in the lounge area next to the bar. It's quite a hike from certain areas of the resort, but not to bad as a stop if you're already in El Centro or on your way to the parks bus stop 1. Also, it's convenient to the front desk and to Magic Express and bell desk (in case you're arriving or leaving). The baristas and cashiers were always friendly and I enjoyed stopping by each morning for my quick breakfast!

Yelp
Cool new lounge in the lower lobby of the Gran Destino tower. It can be noisy since it is right below and open to the main lobby above. Plenty of seating is available at the bar or at tables. Service was great, a decent selection of beer on tap along with their specialty cocktails on the menu. USB plugs available below the bar at in the seating areas.

Yelp
Drinks were amazing. Service a bit slow. Very upbeat casual area. Love the colorful backdrop behind the bar.

Yelp
We viewed five four tops from the hostess stand. The hostess said they were for future waitlisted walk-ins. They could not offer them to us until they exhausted a supposed waitlist. For 12 minutes we watched no one standing in line, and no new patrons. We left and dined next door. it's hard to recommend this place.

Yelp
Great place to get a drink before heading up to dinner or any time friendly serviceAnd generous with the alcohol. Nice view of the lawn and lake while you're having a drink

Yelp
We stayed at Coronado Springs for our honeymoon and went to the Barcelona Lounge a few times simply because of David the bartender. He was amazing and tailored every drink to our liking. He really knew his stuff and we would 100% come back just for his hospitality and knowledge.
