Nice beach but the people selling things would not leave us alone :( be ware of a guy selling coconuts - he kept coming back to us and started a conversation each time, he seemed friendly at first but got aggressive when we kept declining his coconuts

Very big crowd, no sunbeds, you have to watch out for pickpockets and thieves, not my style unfortunately. The beach has fine sand, which is great, and the water is also beautiful, regardless of the fact that it is a city beach and that the port is not far away.

Beautiful beach! So very chill and relaxing to walk here. Have some quite nice facilities around as well, so pretty convenient.

Accessible beach by different means of transport ,a lively atmosphere all day long ,a good place for a stroll or a swim .no sunbeds ,only umbrellas ,it's overcrowded but you can find a spot .it has a great view ,nice but expensive beach bars .

This man-made beach is great because: it is located very close to the city center (15 minute drive from Gothic Quarter); large beach with plenty of space (even on crowded Sundays); sand is soft; young vibe; long breakwater into the ocean; shaded promenade near the shore; and pretty boardwalk. Topless suntanning appears to be permitted. Did not see umbrella rentals or chair rentals - bring your own.

On June 17, 2025, we travelled by public bus to the end of the line at Barcelona Beach. We were immediately drawn to the beautiful scenery of the blue sky meeting the ocean. We could watch planes taking off and landing at the airport. This side of the beach had fewer visitors, which we appreciated. We enjoyed our walk towards the W Hotel and finished with lunch at Fika. Afterward, we took a bus to explore other destinations in Barcelona. There were plenty of buses heading to the beach, making it very accessible

Great city beach. Nice sand, some reasonable beach bars and restaurants. Spoilt by aggressive, illegal hawkers selling drinks, massages, and tattoos. Would go back, but bring your headphones and ignore the pestering.

It's a wonderful City Beach that is very accessible and quite friendly. Of course, you have to remember, it is a City Beach and not quite the secluded beach. If that's what you're looking for, then do not go there. If you are enjoying Barcelona with all its amenities; culture, architecture, cuisine and beaches, then this is a good spot to go. We enjoyed it quite a bit and yes, they do have food, mojitos, sangrias, beer, wine and Mocktails, etc. Love Barcelona/España.
