Barefoot Antigua - Private Boat Tours

We booked the shared boat experience to Barbuda, and hands down this was the best day of our vacation. Captain Keane and first mate Jayden picked us up on our hotel's beach and off we went! Picking up a few people along the way, we made the trek across to Barbuda. A bumpy ride for sure - hard to drink your first drink of the day haha - but Cappy did all he could to miss the big jumps. We were told history about the island, and pointed out some celeb homes before heading to a beautiful pink beach. It was everything you think it will be! Crystal clear waters, extremely private and raw beach experience with the most beautiful pink shelled sand. After a couple of hours there, we had the most delicious lobster lunch on Princess Diana Beach - it had the softest, most pillowy sand. All of this while being offered as many drinks as we could stand, snorkel equipment and pretty much full reign of whatever we wanted to do - though we chose to just relax. Keane and Jayden were so incredibly kind and really made the trip - but the boat was also very nice, comfortable and clean. It was so easy to book (even with my many questions, over excitement) with Yensa via email - while it was a shared experience she was able to pair us with a great group of folks even in off season. Worth every penny and probably more. If you are thinking of doing a day trip to Barbuda - this is the one!!

Our adventure around Antigua with Barefoot Antigua was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we stepped aboard, it was clear we were in for something special. The fishing was phenomenal — we reeled in fresh yellowtail snapper and got to experience the thrill of the catch firsthand. But the highlight? Cooking those snapper right on the beach for a fresh, mouthwatering lunch with the waves lapping nearby. It doesn’t get more authentic than that! Captain Ethan and mate Tykeal were absolutely top notch. Their professionalism, warmth, and easygoing nature made the whole experience feel like we were out with lifelong friends. They handled everything with skill and care, and their passion for the sea and for sharing Antigua’s beauty was contagious. If you're looking for a truly immersive, unforgettable way to explore Antigua — with great fishing, great food, and even better company — Barefoot Antigua is the way to go. We had an incredible day on the water with Stevie! He taught us so much about the island on the way to Stingray City, took us snorkeling in Cades’ Cove, and made us incredible local rum punches! Very knowledgeable and personable and we really enjoyed just it being my husband and I instead of doing a big, busy charter!

We had the most incredible day hosted with Barefoot. From the moment we met the boys on the dock we were in good hands. They greeted us with a fully stocked cooler and ready to have the best day. They were attentive and fun. We did the crossing over to Barbuda and they made us feel safe and comfortable the whole time, even my 90 year old grandmother had a blast in all the waves. They stopped in a remote spot where we could jump in the water and enjoy the quiet beaches before boating us over to an amazing lunch at Nobu. We were even able to fish on the way over. From start to finish we had a great time and would recommend to anyone who comes to Antigua.

We did a 1 day trip to Barbuda from Jolly Harbour with a beachfront drop off for lunch. Jojo and Alizze were master waterpeople. Jojo and Alizze deftly navigated the seas and got us right onto the pink sand beaches, in for a world-class lunch at Nobu Beach Club, and over to see reefs in crystal clear water. We learned about the natural history of so many places on the islands while we took in their beauty. The music and rum drinks were amazing and added to the fun. If you rent the whole boat this is a luxury adventure experience that I wouldn’t miss if you’re in Antigua. If your mega-yacht tender is in for repair, this a perfect substitute. My wife and I had an amazing time.

When we couldn’t make it to Barbuda due to weather Barefoot reassured us we could still have an amazing day on the water and they did not disappoint! Amazing hospitality, views, beaches, music and wonderful stop at The Hut for incredible food! JoJo and Chelsey made it an ABOVE and BEYOND experience! Highly recommend for your next Antigua experience!
