A Perfect Family Stay at Barefoot at Havelock! We stayed as a family – parents and two children – and absolutely fell in love with this place. From the very first moment, Neha at the reception welcomed us with a big smile and such warmth, making sure everything during our stay was perfect. The food was simply outstanding – full of flavor, freshness, and love. It was honestly the best food we had during our entire trip in India. A huge thank you to Chef Trilochan for his kindness, personal attention, and the way he pampered us with every meal. The service throughout the resort was exceptional – kind, caring, and always with a smile. A special thanks to Wohid, who made us feel so welcome and comfortable every day. And the best part – the private beach! Without a doubt, it’s the most beautiful beach in all of Havelock – clean, quiet, with crystal-clear water and a breathtaking view. We stayed three nights at this resort, which is located close to Radhanagar Beach, a short walk through a tree lined path. The entire resort is nestled within a verdant forest, which has been protected and enhanced where necessary. The section of the beach where the resort opens to is generally deserted, except during sunsets, so you'll have the beach all to yourself though of course shared with other hotel guests. The staff are extremely friendly, and the food was amazing, with special mention of Chef Trilochand, who somehow managed to make the most mundane dish seem exceptional (think all caramel puddings taste the same? - then try one here). At night, we could hear the sounds of nature, frogs and insects cracking and trilling. We loved it so much there that we didn't even bother going to any other part of Havelock, just made the most of the beach and the resort. Definitely an experience you should try at least once in your life.

Barefoot is truly a 10/10 experience! 🌴✨ Everything about this place . the room, hospitality, food, and ambience was absolutely perfect. You could easily stay here just for the breathtaking beach view. Such a peaceful and beautiful property surrounded by nature. I also loved the thoughtful little details the restaurant named The Swimming Elephant and the reception called Dugong Dugong such cute touches that make the place even more special! 🐘💙 I genuinely loved every moment I spent here. If you’re visiting Havelock island, Barefoot is an experience you shouldn’t miss! 🌊🌿

This is the only place in havelock where we can stay inside actual andaman forest with tall trees, wild birds and actual private beach. Stay is comfortable and gives a wild resort vibes which is not everyone choice but it definitely give a different positive experience. Choice of breakfast could be better but lunch and dinner is good. This is place is definitely couple and kids friendly but may not be suitable for elders with mobility issues. I will definitely visit this place again for this exotic experience.

The most enriching and happy experience was at Barefoot Havelock. I've been to many resorts as I have a love for luxury hotels including Taj, but barefoot beats almost all in hospitality. All staff are so courteous and helpful. Any demand for food for my kid was met and as a surprise they don't even charge for kids food. It's at a prime location with my running to the beach atleast three times a day. Our experience with the naturalist Prathamesh was wonderful with he introducing us including my 5 year old to bird watching and it's beauty. If I could give more stars , I would.

I absolutely fell in love with the natural ambiance and the eco-friendly environment created at Barefoot. The resort feels like it belongs to the island itself — surrounded by lush greenery, peaceful vibes, and direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches.||The cottages are thoughtfully designed to blend comfort with nature, giving a rustic yet cozy feel. The staff is warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. What I loved most was how everything here is centered around sustainability and harmony with nature, making it a perfect escape from the busy world.

Our stay at the Barefoot Havelock was a disappointment especially as we presumed the cottages are in close proximity to the sea and with a view of the ocean. Instead we found the cottages were nestled among trees with overgrown vegetation. The approach to the cottages are uneven and due to rains the walkway was slushy at places. Not at all senior citizen friendly. The cottage room although spacious was very dimly lit giving an eerie feeling that some creepy crawley could drop from the thatched roof at any time. The feeling was accentuated when the hotel staff came in the evening to put mosquito / insect screens all around the bed. The thought that some bold insect could still invade the bed if the screen was not properly tucked did cross our minds. The bathroom was most disappointing especially as it is ill designed with no hangers to place change of clothes and the towel rack was right above the toilet. There is no TV or hotel phone in the room. Guests requiring any service have to contact the reception using their own phones over whatsapp. Mobile network & data connectivity is quite poor in this araa but wifi is available. We had opted for MAP plan during our stay which included dinner. There was no buffet and restaurant was serving food on a la carte even for breakfast. Indian and continental food are available. Service was quick but quality and taste of food was not too great. The only saving grace at the property were the personnel at the hotel. Each and every one of them right from reception, to house keeping and restaurant were doing their best to make the guests happy. Radhanagar beach which is near the hotel is truly fantastic. The beach is a short walking distance from the hotel through some mangroves. The approach is not safe in the night.

Astounding. |The only word worthy of describing our stay at Barefoot Havelock. You'll find luxury in nature's lap & just feel enthralled by the proximity of Radhanagar beach as well as the Tropical rainforest the resort is based in. Every morning you'll wake up to chirps of songbirds & patter of raindrops on the cottages. Get ready for an overdose of fresh air & calm vibes to cradle your stressed out minds to a dreamy life.. Just go barefoot in Barefoot & you'll never want to go back to reality!
