A Must-Visit Spot in Myrtle Beach! Barefoot Landing is a beautiful and vibrant place that perfectly combines shopping, dining, and entertainment, making it a must-visit during any trip to Myrtle Beach. We loved the atmosphere here – from the charming boardwalks to the scenic lake in the center, where you can actually spot wildlife like turtles and even crocodiles! There’s a great mix of boutique shops, restaurants, and bars, and we especially enjoyed coming in the evenings when live concerts were taking place – the energy was amazing and added so much to the experience. The whole layout of the place is thoughtfully designed, making it a pleasant place to stroll around, whether you’re shopping, grabbing a drink, or just enjoying the views. We liked it so much we ended up going more than once during our vacation! Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a fun and relaxing place to hang out in Myrtle Beach. Don’t miss it!

What a beautiful place!! This is perfect for family a place to unwind, stroll around this place offer everything, from entertainment, food and activities, me and my family spend some times here, they have a lawn that you can get your own beach chair to watch their show, my daughter likes it and somehow participated, they also have a small inlet with boat and of course this place is surrounded by different kind of restaurants you have so many options, they also have a big playground where my kids spend hours of playing, and parents can always buy a refreshing drinks or cocktails while watching kids play, the bathroom is located inside the arcade, it's not clean enough that's the reason why I gave 4 star the bathroom is not maintained and it's stinky, other than that you can spend your all day on this place and I highly recommended family to visit barefoot landing whenever you visit Myrtle Beach.

Similar to Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing has quite a selection of shopping, food, and quality entertainment in north Myrtle Beach. During the day, visitors can shop for apparel, jewelry, and gifts or pick from a wide variety of attractions. Barefoot Landing is a shopping, dining and entertainment destination all in one. It is a must-see during your Myrtle Beach vacation. They have wonderful annual events, live music, great restaurants, and plenty of family-friendly fun all year round. It’s also very dog-friendly with specialty shops for your pooch and water dishes outside of many retailers around the complex. Lucy Buffett’s LuLu’s has a huge menu and is a great spot for families with little ones with a fun beach and plenty of seating. Enjoy the beautiful waterway views with a cold drink in hand at a few great spots around Barefoot Landing. We had the best time at Crooked Hammock Brewery

Barefoot Landing is a great little spot to hang out and kill some time and do some shopping. Most of the shops are overpriced touristy stuff but there are a few gems in there. The ticketed rides are extremely overpriced. Almost $7 to ride the carousel. There’s some nice views and the restaurants looked nice but we had eaten before we visited. Bring something to keep yourself hydrated as there are no water stations here (which is extremely annoying). Bottled water is $2+ at the stores. Seems like a disservice to not offer water when the shade is pretty limited.

Google
This is definitely the place to be in Myrtle beach. It has tons of shopping options both tourist and popular brands. It also has amazing places to eat and fireworks in the summer.

Yelp
We visit Barefoot Landing every year. Many options for dining, shopping, and family activities. It's a nice place to take a stroll after dinner too if shopping isn't your thing

Yelp
Such a fun spot to pop over to when visiting Myrtle Beach. They have everything from kids activities, to restaurants and a ton of shopping options. Not just retail, but also cutesy shops where you can purchase fudge, candy shops, beef jerky shops and such. We loved their candle store and picked up some items to bring home. Even if you aren't looking to shop it's nice to take a stroll around the water and you will always find some entertainment. Lots of country music for Wednesday night.

Yelp
Barefoot landing is such a cool complex, great restaurants, lots of parking and a wonderful collection of store from Ron Jon, the Mole Hole, to toy stores, magic shops and cookie, hey dude and Myrtle beach souvenirs. There is so much more. Fireworks on Monday night, a playground, free transportation via golf cart and a magician and entertainer at the main stage with free folding chairs. Plenty to do for the kids too, a carousel, a train and a trampoline jump, plus Lulu's arcade with a cool Ropes course. We just loved exploring and finding new places each time. Highly recommend crooked hammock brewery and Big Chill Island House, both different, but both incredible. Really want to try Lulu's one day, it looks top notch. There are so many places to eat, you'll no doubt find something that fancies your cravings.

Yelp
We visited here on a Sunday evening, which meant that most shops and attractions were closed, but most of the restaurants were open. This was perfect for us because we could avoid the crowds and enjoy the evening at this place.  It's a nice place to spend the evening walking along the boardwalk, window shopping at the cute little stores, and taking in the scenery. I loved the walkway bridge across the pond.  It can get chilly in the evenings in the spring since it's by the water. Plenty of parking.

Yelp
I only explored a section during my visit. I also ate at Blueberry's Grill, so the shops I visited were the ones in that area. There was lots of parking and a variety of shops and restaurants. I like these type of outdoor malls and this one was very scenic. There were benches scattered around which was nice. It was a hot day and I didn't feel like walking across the longer boardwalk to the other side. But I want to go back and look around at those shops as well. I saw they have a carousel and I saw a playground type pirate ship. I also saw a toy store and ice cream shop so it seems this is a fun places for visitors of all ages, including kids.

Yelp
Crooked Hammock is a great spot and the Big Chill had good food and nice views of the water. We went here on a rainy day and hopped around to a few bars so it was perfect and enjoyed looking through the shops as well.

Yelp
A beautiful center that reminds me of our Jersey shore boardwalk. We ate, enjoyed adult beverages, took lots of photos, and shopped. Very pleasant and pretty!

Yelp
Nothing beats a day walking around Barefoot landing, checking out the cute shops, eateries, sampling wines, and enjoying the wildlife on the waterways. Beware though they do have a resident alligator. I even saw bald eagles! We absolutely loved Crooked Hammock Brewery.

Yelp
I love it here! So many shops to choose from! Fun way to spend the day! Lots of restaurants!

Yelp
A great place to shop, eat, and play. Good for all ages. Taco Mundo is fantastic. Ron John Surf shop is a must stop. Love all the little shops. Stop in the magic store too. Don't leave Myrtle Beach without stopping.

Yelp
A lot of great places to eat and great shops here! Check them out there is so much to do here and can be a fun way to unwind after a long day at the beach.

Yelp
Visited here as part of my south carolina Vacation with my parents in September. Just wanted to update my findings on this location- so they have plenty of restaurants here from Umbertos, (which is an italian food eatery), to other small places such as lulu's, River City Cafe, and many other eateries including the landshark that my parents ate at last time. They also have plenty of stores including small souvenir shops , as well as the carousel, and arcades. They also have The Alabama theatre, where one can view their recent show ICONIC, or see an tribute show from bands like abba, the eagles and more. again, off season, easy to park. Oh and lets not forget, totally easy to walk around in the area. Will definitely be coming back~
google avatar

Bruce K.

Yelp
I was here to enjoy some frosty adult beverages in the Crooked Hammock Brewery taproom on a Saturday afternoon. It's not quite season here so the huge parking lot was more than half empty and there weren't any big crowds on the boardwalk. Sadly, the carousel was not running today. Lots to do here to keep the kids occupied. Ice cream, fudge store, cotton candy, restaurants and yes, that carousel. It's a very neat spot! Yelp
This is one of the Grand Strand's many shopping meccas. What sets Barefoot Landing apart is that it has been here for decades and just seems to get better with time. It's a sprawling shopping area set around a very large pond. The entire place just sparkles with low country charm and charisma. There's tons of of shopping and dining options, and a little something for everyone. My personal favorite shop is the Illusions jewelry store. Several of my favorite statement pieces have come from them. Barefoot Landing is just wonderful.

Yelp
It is great to see how much Barefoot Landing has built up since my last visit 2 years ago. Barefoot landing is a staple when I visit Myrtle Beach as the Flying fish is located there and the flying fish is my favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach. Barefoot landing is a dining and shopping destination outside of the barefoot landing golf and residences. There are about 50 shops and 12 restaurants in the complex. Ron Jon, gift shops, tea and olive shops, a brewery with fire pits and outdoor games. Nice location for a sunset view over the intercostal.
google avatar

Steve G.

Yelp
Place is dope. Restaurants, bars, shops, stuff to see like jugglers, guys playing guitars, alligators, carp, turtles. I know I gave it a 5 star but it needs better parking somehow.
google avatar

Olivia O.

Yelp
Clean place with lots of shopping and activity outdoor center. They have a ton of restaurants and bars.

Yelp
I love Barefoot Landing year round and on all kind of weather days. The shopping is great and the off season deals are good. The maps are helpful when you need to fins a restroom. Recently has a great lunch at Taco Mondo. I've tried to eat two times as Landshark. There is always a line or then they are not busy with empty seats and the wait is still 30 minutes.
google avatar

Ron D.

Yelp
We visited here several time's in the days we were in Myrtle. Enjoy walking the boardwalk looking for the turtles and alligators. This year we only ate at the Flying Fish, but Bully's became an almost daily interlude. I enjoyed trying the beers, although they didn't have my favorite discovered at the Liberty Grill. I found a few good alternatives. The waitresses were all very nice to us.. the elderly couple, lol
google avatar

Diana G.

Yelp
This area is nice. I liked it better than Broadway at the beach. They have restaurants and stores. The stores aren't as commercial. I loved their dog store and the prices at the stores are reasonable. The lake is full of wildlife. We saw a bunch of turtles and an alligators. There's plenty of parking. They had live entertainment the day I visited. They had lawn chairs set up where you can sit and watch the show. Be prepared to wait for a table at any of the restaurants. We waited 1.5 hours, but were able to shop while waiting, so it didn't bother us Don't skip this place when in Myrtle beach.

Yelp
Barefoot landing is so fun for kids and adults! So many stores to enjoy. The employees at the stores are so kind and friendly! The stores have high quality products that are worth the money. I definitely recommend Barefoot landing!
google avatar

Amber L.

Yelp
Wide selection of mostly small businesses mixed with different brand stores. Bathrooms were very clean and all the store staff were very kind. Parking was not bad and they have lots of different parking lots near different restaurants. Defiantly great for a low key family night out or a fun night for two!!
google avatar

Michelle Y.

Yelp
This place has a lot of restaurants to choose from along with a few shops to browse plus places to get ice cream, popcorn and other sweets! And it does have a carousel, train for the kiddos to ride and has a playground which is nice...

Yelp
Great place to walk around, shop, play, and dine! During our first day at Myrtle Beach, we checked out Broadway and while that area was fun and filled with things I wanted to do, I prefer the stores and the general atmosphere at Barefoot Landing. We came here after a nice nature walk, ended up with a few purchases from a couple of the shops, stopped to turtle watch, and had a nice lunch at one of the many dining options the area has to offer! The place is well-kept and clean and several of the bars in the area offered outdoor seating with some fans blowing mists to keep you cool while you sit and relax and enjoy some appetizers or a meal. There is an arcade for the whole family to enjoy in case the weather doesn't cooperate and a sizeable playground where children can play for free! There are some seats around the playground area for the adults to park and watch their little ones play! We were scouting the area for our nieces and nephews and recommended the big chess board for one of the nephews to enjoy while our niece enjoyed the big playground later that evening!
google avatar

Angel W.

Yelp
We love it here as there is so much to do!! Restaurants and all kind of stores that is surrounding a beautiful pond with wildlife. There is a playground for the kids too. Also, some of the places have fun things for the kids to play on such as an arcade and rope course.

Yelp
Nice cute quaint shopping area with Restaurants, Bars, Retail Shops, Specialty Shops, Play Area, Merry Go Round, etc. That sits along the Intracoastal Waterway.
google avatar

Pam W.

Yelp
This is such a cute place! I'm surprised they aren't busier but it is off season. I was with my mom and sister for a weekend trip and after eating at the Original Benjamin's, we wanted to walk off some food, and since Barefoot Landing is so close, we decided to stop in. Years ago when this area wasn't as developed, my parents owned a place at Barefoot Landing campground. We could come out on weekends to enjoy the beach. Barefoot Landing shopping was smaller but still cute. This has a mix of chain stores, souvenir shops and local shops. I ended up buying a cute t-shirt from a pet-themed store. There was a musician playing on the backside of the place and there was a rack of chairs so you could sit and enjoy. Weather was perfect for it! This is a nice family-friendly place to wander, eat and enjoy a warm Carolina evening.
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
What a fun place. Lots of shops to choose from including sweets shops like Royal Fudge and Wee R Sweets. The Ron Jon's is top notch with friendly, smiling helpful employees. The grounds on the Low Country side are lovely. Lots of things for children like an adorable train they can ride and a beautiful ok'd fashioned carousel. A nice pavilion for bands to play and Lulu's for dining and a cool play area conveniently located near a brewery in case the kids are driving you nuts!
google avatar

Aimee N.

Yelp
Barefoot Landing is my favorite touristy spot in Myrtle. It's classy, clean, has something for everybody and has beautiful waters with turtles and alligators. I have so much fun here just walking around and seeing the different stores, restaurants, play areas, tigers from Doc Antle (lol), and gators. Not to mention the House of Blues, Ducks Last resort and so many other fun things are here. This is a beautiful place and has many great stores and one of the coolest tiki bars I have ever seen.
google avatar

Rhonda F.

Yelp
I really enjoyed shopping at Barefoot Landing. It's a great open air shopping center on the water. The variety of shops was interesting. They offered clothing, jewelry and gift options. All of my cousins and I found plenty of things to buy. There a great snack options as well. The parking lot is huge. I bet this place gets super busy during the high season and it looks like it's capable of accommodating a ton of visitors. I would definitely return the next time I'm in town.
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
Great place to checkout if you are visiting or if you live locally. There is music and multiple options to shop, eat, and grab a cold refreshment by the water. Plenty of parking but can get busy during the summer season. Definitely a great place to take a break from the beach and spend an afternoon or evening.

Yelp
Walked around Barefoot Landing after grabbing lunch at the Flying Fish Public Market & Grill. What a bust! Not sure what all the hype about this place is. Yes, there's quite a few dining options to choose from (restaurants and fast casual) and tons of stores, but nothing that wowed me. Most of the stores were beachwear related, general store type places, or sold candy. Some of the stores looked closed even though the hours on their store front stated they were open. The amusement area was a joke, with very few rides for the kids. Even C, who is 4 years old, wasn't interested! Long wooden bridges connect one side of the shops to the area. For $0.50, you can feed the turtles/fish in the lake. Parking was easy to find as there are multiple lots to choose from. IF you come to Barefoot Landing, come to eat (Flying Fish Public Market & Grill and Sweet Molly's Creamery are good options) and not to shop/walk around. The T.I.G.E.R.S / Preservation Station looked pretty cool as well. Be sure to check their website though, because they were only open in the evenings when we were in town.
google avatar

Kristina G.

Yelp
This reminds me a lot of Broadway at the Beach but I feel its prettier, and less chintzy. Although it has its share of chintz. The outdoor areas feel more beachy and I enjoy it better even though its a farther drive for me. There's a ton of specialty shops and restaurants and there are also amusement options for the kids and live entertainment for everyone! There's literally something for everyone and I really enjoy coming here for an evening with friends or family and just enjoying the North Myrtle Beach life.

Cam G.

Yelp
The rental units are incredibly run down. Our unit's refrigerator did not work. The maintenance man told a clear lie to his management about the refrigerator was too full to cool. Then some bs about needing 12 hours for the refrigerator to cool. One of our party is diabetic, not a safe environment. I can't post pic of how refrigerator was not packed but this is the most insulting response I've ever gotten from a hospitality company. Avoid at all costs. Stay at Fairfield or Courtyard Marriott in the area.

Yelp
Love this area. So many great stores to explore and the layout of the place is beautiful. Plus our favorite restaurant - Taco Mundo - is here!

Yelp
I have been visiting since it opened (showing my age) and it has flip flopped over the years in terms of shops, restaurants, and vacancies. Glad to say it has picked back up. I miss Johnny Rockets and the general store, but still a nice hour or so to spend. Friendly workers, cute shops, and some fun kiddie things.
google avatar

Yelp
What a super fun outdoor shopping experience. There is lots to find and do here . Definitely something for everyone of all ages. We got ice cream , beef jerky, and sunglasses all within 10-20 minutes . Outdoor shops are a tad pricy but it's the super fun environment your really paying paying for. Parking is a little tricky since there isn't enough of it , but overall great experience. Family friendly for sure .

Yelp
Beautiful area. Lots to do...food, shopping. Wishing we lived closer to experience this all year round!

Yelp
Love this place. Always enjoy the stroll through and going to the unique shops. Such a nice clean atmosphere

Yelp
Nice place to shop, eat and walk around for the scenery. Plenty of great food options. There are several shops to stop in and pick up a novelty tshirt, cute outfit from Francesca's, cookie & ice cream shop. Something for every need.

Yelp
First impressions almost made us turn around. From the outside it looks worn and tired. There were some empty shop spaces so we were leery. Once we walked around a bit we could see there was s lot to offer from Barefoot Landing. The place is rather huge with specialty shops. Our favorite was the Bee place and the Candy store. There is a lake/pond in the middle so be sure to make it around to the other side. You can easily spend 3-4 hours in Barefoot Landing. We bought most of our souvenirs there.

Yelp
Visiting and my uber driver recommended it. Great for families. Lots of food & fun options.

Yelp
I made a quick stop at Barefoot Landing to get some honey barbecue beef jerky at the Beef Jerky Store. Since I didn't know exactly where anything was located, I walked across the bridge all the way to the other side looking for the outlet. I finally decided to ask some one where it was located. I didn't realize that the store wasn't far, I was parked really close to the store. I got the honey barbecue beef jerky, paid for it and was on way.

Yelp
So fun wandering along the bridge and pathways at this popular destination. Savannah bee company and shining sol candle shop we're our favorites this time. Perfect place to bring family and children to enjoy

Yelp
This is a must place to check out if you are staying in Myrtle Beach. The boardwalks all over the water is awesome, good shopping and plenty of different places to eat. It's great fun for family and beautiful scenery and setting

Yelp
We happened upon this place as we went to the Wild Wing Cafe for dinner. And we were lucky as it had rained the entire meal - letting up just as we finished. It turned nice so we decided to take a stroll. Like the other reviews I read said - there's a whole variety of niche stores. Something for everyone to spend money on (but not me!) They had everything from hats and sunglasses to knives and cups. They also had several ice cream stores - one of which the hubby went to. The thing we liked were the live performers. We were there on a Sunday evening and I was glad they had some around. There was 2 men playing steel drums, a guitar singer, and a guy walking around on stilts. Since I had to wait while hubby got his ice cream, I enjoyed listening to the one guy sing. We maybe spent 45 minutes there. I can't imagine spending much longer. OH - almost forgot the baby animals they have there. Several lion cubs, a monkey and who knows what else. Some couple was getting photographed with them - costing over $100! But the $$ goes to a good cause - so good for them. All to say, to kill some time, it was nice place to talk around. Recommend but not the actually buy anything or stay for any measurable amount of time. But that's just me . . . .

Yelp
If you visit North Myrtle Beach, Barefoot Landing is a fun place to walk around. This on the lake mall is very interesting. They have the local store that you have never seen. I would say small business in this location is thriving. The store is an individual building but you can interconnect the building from each door. Some building was built on pile over lake and make this place unique. They also has attraction for tourist such marry go around, maze, tiger ice cream and more. Restaurant is not lacking in this mall. The lake has the three series of bridge interconnected to the back of lake building. Many specialties store can be located such as Christmas Mouse House, Everything Purple, Black Market Mineral, Trickmaster, and more. The compound is pleasant to walk at early morning or sunset. Although there sign beware of alligator near the lake, but we did not see one. I am guessing they did not find many food here :)
