Barfly's is my go-to spot in Baltimore! Their pizza is consistently delicious, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes every visit enjoyable. The staff is always friendly, and the extensive bourbon selection is impressive. Whether you're looking for a casual night out or a place to unwind, Barfly's never disappoints

Google
Amazing Pizza. Cold Beer. Huge Whiskey selection. What else can you ask for … oh cool music and awesome service. This place is great !

Kevin Kearns

Google
This is j just a beer bar. Whiskey advocate must have drank before their review. Just a food menu, no drink menu or bourbon list. Can't get near the bar to look at what they have, and it's definitely not more than a 150 bottles. waitress hasn't been back in about 30 minutes... Since she dropped food,, no asking if we wanted more drinks, nothing. When they finally did bring the check atleast she ran it quick, so we could go to a whiskey bar that wanted someone to spend more then $45

Great atmosphere and the food was fabulous. Quintessential bar galley style with a long wood bar and more seating in the back. Absolutely great evening with great service. It was loud with all of the people but still very fun. We would go back in a heartbeat and the drinks were good too!

Google
Barfly's pizzas are like the adult version of those airy cheese sticks you'd crush as a kid. The crust might actually be my favorite part of them. Better yet that you're able to order pours of whiskey while you dine on some carbs. Come with others so you can split a few pies + explore their expansive liquor list. 🥃 Edit: Do not get the wings or the chicken parm. Wings when we had them were really... Moist? Squishy? Chicken on the parm was just naked chicken breast without any breading or seasoning wasn't even pounded flat. + Half the sandwich was unsauced, just naked chicken. Pizza + liquor seem like the main things worth getting.

Google
The pizza was delicious! I absolutely loved the garlic Parmesan crust! It’s a must. The wings missed the mark on the sauce. Spicy bbq is sweet and not spicy at all. I would go again for the pizza for sure. The chocolate espresso martini was perfect.

Google
Great place in Riverside neighborhood to meet with friends for pizza and whiskey. Barflys has the best pizza that I have tried in Baltimore. The whiskey selection is great; however, the beer selection and other cocktails is limited—they focus on the whiskey. Service is good, the kind of service you get at your neighborhood bar. My favorite is the meat pizza, but you can build your own.

Google
Tons of options here! The people were nice and gave solid recommendations. They have a cool line of the Florida seltzers, which I was a fan of. We came in a big party and there was space for us at a large table. The pizza that other people got looked good, but there wasn’t much for this gluten free girlie.

Yelp
This place is INCREDIBLE!!! The whiskey selection is top tier, and their cocktails are delicious. Staff are super helpful and always happy to recommend a drink based on your preferences. The food (esp pizza) is also AMAZING! You gotta get the white sauce for dipping. Love that this cozy spot is in the neighborhood!

Yelp
We like the food here and used to go here often. The salad and pizza is really good but the last few times we have come here the service has been poor. The place is small and often it is very loud inside with patrons yelling and screaming. It's become a place where we order the food to go because it is not enjoyable to be there when it is filled with drunk people screaming. The last time we ordered carry out we picked it up and went home only to find that they messed up our order and so we had to go back and wait for them to make our order correctly. Last night I wanted to order carry out and they don't allow online ordering so I called the restaurant. A lady answered the phone and I started to order and then she just hung up the phone while I was ordering. I called back 4 times and they would not pick up the phone. So then I drove up there to see what's going on. I told the bartender that we tried to call ahead and order but the person hung up on me and we tried calling back several times. He didn't say anything in response. They don't seem to care about their business or customers so much anymore. It wasn't even busy or crowded, but there was a group in the back singing off key and screaming at the top of their lungs. We had to wait half an hour for them to make one pizza and a salad. The food was tasty but I don't think the hassle is worth it anymore. The person James who took waited on was rude and just didn't seem to give a crap. Seems like they have a new owner or new manager who is in auto pilot or burned out. Time for us to find a new place for pies. Food is 5 stars but the service is a zero at this place now.

Yelp
Good pan pizza / thick crust. Hot and Spicy pizza is the best. Roasted wings are tasty too.

Yelp
What a great little whiskey bar!! A friend told me about it so when I was looking for a place to meet a new friend for drinks it was the first thing that came to mind!! We sat at the bar and had great service from the bartenders and with such a vast selection of whiskey I can't wait to go back! I will have to give their menu another try before I comment because I wasn't impressed, however drinks makes up for it lol. It is a tight space as it's a converted row home but it didn't feel crowded until we were trying to leave.

Yelp
Cool whiskey bar in nice area w parking on the street. Pizza was good almost Chicago style, not my preference but it's good. Great selection of top tier whiskey and great service.
google avatar

Nithin K.

Yelp
One of our favorite pizza places in Baltimore. Probably my favorite pizza crust ever. Definitely check this place out. I hear that this place has a great whiskey selection, but I haven't tried it myself.

Yelp
Pretzel bites are really just a tasty way to get at their homemade mustard - holy cow it's good! Great pizzas - crust is nice and light. They are 6 slices so if you and another are starving either load up on great apps (like those Pretzel bites) and split one pizza or get two. They are awesome for leftovers as well. This is on our "must stop here" places when we are in Baltimore. Great local feel.

Yelp
A local favorite pizza spot. I love coming here to get a beer and enjoy one of their pizzas. They offer 10 inch, thick crust pizzas here, which are a good personal size. This time I got the white style five cheese pizza and it was delicious as always. They used to keep dressing bottles on the table, but no longer do so, those who have put it on their pizza before know how good it is. I recommend asking for their homemade dressing to dip the crust in!

Yelp
I'm a visual pizza eater. You know, it has to look a certain way. It needs to sell me on the idea that it has flavor, the perfect crunch when bitten and an acceptable ingredient to crust ratio. So I definitely bookmarked this place after seeing pics. I stopped in early yesterday afternoon so parking was a breeze right on Fort Ave and getting a seat at the bar was even easier. There were just a few of us so service was quick. The only thing that gave me pause was the extensive whiskey menu. It was a little overwhelming but I powered through. Grabbed 2 oz of a rye and ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza. The pie was delicious. The crust was light and crispy yet hearty and fulfilling. And if you should get a bite of the crust that's been cooked a pinch longer, it's a party in your mouth...or maybe that was the rye. Either way...listen Yelp friends, you've done it again. You were right and I'll be back.

Yelp
The owners are well versed and generous with sharing their knowledge of the ~300 Bourbons and ~1000 Whiskeys they pour, many of which are hard to come by small batch versions or their personal pics of barrel selects! AND they have THE BEST pizza in Baltimore!!
google avatar

Yelp
It had been quite a while since I last had Barfly's pizza, so when the urge came over me, I went with it, and it did not disappoint. The crust is ample and flavorful, and the sauce on the barbecue chicken had just the right amount of heat. I got it to go, so I didn't spend much time inside, but the bartender was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Just as I remembered.

Yelp
Disappointed is all I got to say. My friends and I were thinking of a place to order pizza from. Being the pizza connoisseur I am, I've already tried all the pizza spots in Baltimore. I suggested Matthew's Pizza, but it was closed. As my previous review, this is the perfect dupe for it and to our luck Barfly's was open for about 30 more minutes. I called around 9:30 PM on a Friday night. Their kitchen closes at 10PM. I stated my order and the man on the phone said, "ok 5 pizzas!" I corrected him and said "no only 4 pizzas!" But then I counted again, and he was correct. 5 pizzas. We also wanted fries, but they ran out. He said the order would be ready in 25 minutes. Got to Barfly's in exactly 25-30 minutes and the food was all ready. I left, got gas nearby and realized that I was a pizza short! Considering I was so close, I decided to hop back on over and see if I can get the pizza they missed. Nope. The kitchen was closed and the chef had left. Apparently they only charged me for 4 pizzas. But still,~$60 for 4 pizzas?! Damn. A bit confused because the man on the phone corrected me and said it was 5 pizzas, when I thought it was 4. Got home and had a slice. The dough was chewy and definitely not crispy. The slice seemed slightly undercooked. Me and my friend (who has been here before) both thought it wasn't good this time around. Not sure because it was take-out or what. Not completely downgrading my review, because I did enjoy my first time here. Hopefully next time will be a better experience than this time.

Yelp
We've done take out from Barfly's numerous times and their pizza is definitely 4 stars. Last week, for the first time, we went in for dinner and drinks with some friends. The bar is cozy, has a lively mood, and is a little more catered to the sports scene. The service was a little lacklustre, we waited around for a while for someone to ask for refills and to get our check (in the end went up to the bar). The pizza, as usual, was fantastic, but I had to drop a star for presentation. Everything (drinks, starters, and pizza) comes out in single use plastics/paper plates. Maybe I could have let the drinks and starters go, but when the pizza was brought out in paper plates, I was really disappointed. I would appreciate a little more thought and care into this aspect of their service, from both a presentation and waste perspective.

Yelp
Everyone this pizza is amazing y'all. When you come to Baltimore stop in. It's all kid friendly!

Yelp
Absolutely loved it here! Me and my boyfriend came here for a casual Valentine's Day dinner and it exceeded expectations! For drinks I started with an IPA which was super fresh and ended with an old fashioned which was delicious and strong! We started with the veggie platter which, had a good variety of fresh veggies with ranch. I wouldn't usually recommend a veggie platter but this really hit the spot and wasn't dry at all like a lot of other places. We got the shrimp Diablo pizza and the Buffalo chicken pizza. The shrimp Diablo was very good but the Buffalo chicken just knocked it out of the park. I've never had bacon on my Buffalo chicken and now I can't go back! The crust here really deserves its own paragraph because it is just that good! It's crunchy on the outside but, soft on the inside and even better dipped in ranch. Overall, very comforting, neighborhood bar vibes with amazing drinks and pizza!

Yelp
We came here for a game after trying to go to 2 other bars and finding them already full, but I'm glad we ended up at Barfly's! It's not a rowdy crowd but definitely filled up with some dedicated Ravens fans which was fun! The pizza wasn't bad in my opinion, the wings were decent, and the beer of course is beer, can't complain! The bartenders/wait staff were friendly, and I liked the wooden bar/interior. Also, this is a little irrelevant but I really like the green paint on the outside, it just looks nice in my opinion.

Yelp
SOOO much bourbon. Barfly's is a cool little spot with super friendly service. We stopped in here late Thursday afternoon and had a few drinks, pours of whiskey, and bites. The pizza was a great surprise. We usually like crispy thin crust pizza which is the opposite of Barfly's pizzas. We tried the buffalo chicken which was more than enough for 2 people to split. Although it is a thicker crust pizza we still thought it was fluffy & light with very little flop (we did ask for it to be well done). The toppings on the pizza itself were also generous and tasty. We tried the pretzel bites with their homemade honey mustard which were good to munch on between drinks. Definitely recommend this place for an afternoon snack & drink.

Yelp
First time at Barfly's after living in Fed Hill about 18 months. We had heard it is some of the best pizza in the area. I also read it is a great bourbon bar. So I ordered take out pizza and was secretly hoping it would not be ready when I walked in so I could peruse & partake in a bourbon selection. Alas - pizza was ready. Warm & on the counter. I ordered the spinach pizza with shrimp. Yummy. We will be going back & might make it one of our regular stops. Um...might? Lots of other selections on the menu.

Yelp
Delicious pizza and a great beer selection!!! The crust is wonderful. Fun bar and great service.
google avatar

Billy V.

Yelp
Their pizza is very delicious and filling. Itt may look small but after my room and waiting a few hours before dinner this thing filled me up. The breading is thick but not too thick that I would consider it deep dish. I tried both pizzas shown and liked the shrimp pizza. I cant describe it but it sounded odd but to my surprise it might be my favorite pizza now. The buffalo was a little over sauced and it was a little too spicy for my liking. Pros: -Good value and deliciousness Cons: -None Tips: Ask for their sauces to dip your pizza or crust
google avatar

Ashley J.

Yelp
I came to the spot after seeing their deep dish pizza on Instagram and wow, it was delicious. The pizza comes in a disposable plate and they give you a delicious sauce to dip it in. I am really glad I found it and can't wait to be back. I'm not really a whiskey person, but they had some delicious cocktails with whiskey in them. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food was ready and fresh despite the quick turnaround time
google avatar

Jeanette D.

Yelp
This spot has a great neighborhood vibe. The service was very good and the food was delicious The house dressing is going to be one of my favorites from now on.
google avatar

Yelp
Based on the number of people picking up pizza boxes, this is a popular spot for takeout pizza. I, on the other hand, was here in search of some whiskey. There are hundreds of types of whiskey to try, but unfortunately the menu lists only names and prices, with no tasting notes, so there's a lot of research or guessing involved in placing your order. If you're like me, you order based on the funniest name. Unfortunately, they seemed to be out of quite a few bottles, and I was told the menu is long overdue for an update. Barfly's could be greatly improved with a more knowledgeable bartender and a little more care in curating their menu.

Alex C.

Yelp
Excellent food and prices, great whiskey selection that has extensive bourbon offerings.
google avatar

Madi N.

Yelp
Such a great little pizza spot. Came for dinner and loved the warm, cozy interior- it's a small little place. They had several televisions on and it was super busy. We sat down and the service was pretty good. The pizza was super thick crust and extra cheesy. Great place for quick, delicious pizza.
google avatar

Devika A.

Yelp
Pizza is delicious deep dish! Pretzel bites are incredible! Beers are very tasty. Beware that there are no fries on the menu.
google avatar

Crystal K.

Yelp
Parking: Free street parking around the establishment Atmosphere: full bar, large flat screen TVs with sports games playing, dim with string lights, homey decorations, seats and tables with board games (my fiancé and I played a game of Uno waiting for our food while watching the basketball game). Great, intimate, fun atmosphere. Service: friendly Food: We ordered cheesy garlic bread. Came in 4 pieces. Tried it with the house salad dressing or as the bartender said "liquid crack." I can confirm the dressing tastes delicious. Garlic cheesy bread tasted great. ~ $5 Chicken wings came with ranch, celery, and baby carrots. ~ $8 Everything pizza - I loved the thick and crispy crust. Tasted delicious, enough for 2 people. ~ $14

Bianca F.

Yelp
I love this place! The pizza is amazing and service/ambiance is perfect. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Jess L.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible pizza, whiskey selection, and staff. Not your average bar food. Definitely worth an in-person visit if you have the chance. All the pizza is 10", sort of "personal pan" size, and there is an amazing sauce at each table kind of like a parmesan thousand island/Italian dressing to dip in. Not sure how else to describe it but it's unreal. If you do have to get takeout, make sure to ask for some to go! Their buffalo chicken is perhaps our favorite but they're all excellent. Don't forget to ask your server about the whiskey! They're able to accommodate all palates and price ranges- the whiskey list is huge, just ask for help. Keep in mind this is a small restaurant and you may have to wait for a table, but be patient and it'll be worth it! Luckily pizza is a fast food to make and eat. Some of the best pizza and friendliest staff in Baltimore!!
google avatar

Henry F.

Yelp
Barfly is an unassuming bar located in riverside. Inside though, you'll find a huge selection of whiskey and good pizza. We came here the day before I had to catch an early flight so opted out on the whiskey. I ordered a meat pizza which was loaded with sausage, pepperoni, prosciutini among others. I wouldn't call this a deep dish pizza but it was definitely semi deep dish. Cheese blend and sauce was good. The crust was delicious. Will definitely come back to pair the food with whiskey next time.
google avatar

Nikita D.

Yelp
Very tasty pizza, love the think crust. I ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza and it had the perfect ratio of hot sauce, and chicken. It was so good I didn't realize to take a picture until it was half way over lol. The pizza arrived in a timely manner and I didn't have to wait long for my order.
google avatar

Mel B.

Yelp
Good lawd. Barfly's got it goin on! A relaxed atmosphere with good service, nice beer selection, lots of bourbon (!!) and best of all - the food. Here is my advice: Go with someone that is an advocate of sharing meals. If you do not have someone like that in your life, my god, go find one. Someone who likes to share meals is usually a pretty clear indicator of a great friend as well. Anyways, go to Barfly's and order a meatball parm to share and a hot and spicy pizza to share. The pizzas are unique. They are personal size, filling and the crust is thick but also crispy - just perfect! The best part about this place is the liquid crack that stays on the table. It is one of my favorite condiments of all time. Yesssssssssss. BRB heading to Barfly's because this review made me do it.
google avatar

Tami F.

Yelp
Surprisingly the best salad in Baltimore. Which is weird to say cause I'm not a big salad person. They make their own house dressing. The pizza and cocktails are just as on point.
google avatar

Laura H.

Yelp
I have been here twice in the last month and the hype around the pizza is totally legit (I like the two-cheese with the Roma sausage)! For sure some of the best in Baltimore. But also - the house salad is out of this world!! I don't know what is in that dressing but it's amazing. I'm looking forward to dining in once it's allowed again, the staff could not be friendlier!
google avatar

Jill R.

Yelp
We came here randomly because nearby Bar Liquorice was closed. I thought this place was fine, but nothing special. The pizza was decent but didn't "wow" me - I had the spicy pepperoni but it only had a little kick to it, not truly spicy. It looked like they had several beers on tap, but sitting at a table it was hard to know what the options were because there was no list. The server rattled off the names but without knowing anything about several of the beers it was hard to know if any of them would appeal. It would be nice if they added a list with a description. There is also no happy hour and the server refused to split our checks, which made it kind of annoying for 3 people who all ordered different things at different prices. Overall this place is fine, but I doubt I'll return.
google avatar

Kenneth D.

Yelp
Best deep dish pizza (and yes, its not-soaked-in-grease) and leaves my childhood fave behind (sorry P. Hut) They do not advertise their pizza strongly and YAY for that. It is still a long wait, but oh it is worth it and yes, each time, I am too anxious and have burned my mouth! Not their fault, the pie is right out of the oven and I just couldn't wait. It is so light and airy it makes me think that their was German or Teslan engineering in somehow have it be so tasty, satisfying and yet grease-free, crispy and light but DEEP DISH? HOW???! Probably using high-dimension abstract algebraic number theory, this pizza was created to defy all previous conceptions of deep dish pizza, and I could not be more pleased with now with craving deep dish pizza! The bar is down home and welcoming though not very large. The bar is narrow and has wall tables for some standing room behind the bar stools to round out their bar area. Going deeper in the dark and no-nonsense restaurant, you will find some tables. The bathrooms are right there dead center of your walk from the front door to the kitchen, amidst tables and bar stools so, well...make it quick ;) The brew selection is good with enough taps to pick 1 to 3 to satisfy. But their real strength is their whisky as they boast quite the selection. If that is your bev of choice, then you could go every night for a year and find something new every day. They have a nice menu to compliment their tour de force pizza including good salads, bar bites (like wings, fresh veggies, pretzel bites), sandwiches (gotta try the italian) and of course...the PIZZA PIES with many choices there. A must try if around the area. Pizza pizza
google avatar

Nisa M.

Yelp
Fantastic meal! We got the pretzel bites and veg version of hot and spicy pizza. The pretzel bites were nice and soft and the hot and spicy mustard that comes with it is delicious. We subbed out the pepperoni for mushrooms and the pizza was very good. I do want to mention that the hot and spicy pizza on the menu says it has hot peppers but it did not and when we inquired about it they said it was the pepperoncinis. However, the menu said pepperoncinis too so they should remove hot peppers from the menu listing. The pizza was still fantastic and reasonably priced. They also have this house made dressing that is on every table and is very good. We dipped pretzel bites and pizza crust in the dressing.
google avatar

Andrew B.

Yelp
This is my favorite bar in Baltimore, hands down. The taps always rotates with a great selection of craft beers, and the hundreds and hundreds of whiskey options at your fingertips are overwhelming and exciting at the same time. The pizza is my favorite I've ever had, with incredible crust and a great ratio of toppings. So. So. Good. Get the pizza. Even if you prefer thin crust you won't be able to argue with how insanely good Barflys pizza is. The service here is great too, with a nice local feel and the most friendly bartenders around. There is nothing not to love about Barflys

J. Scott T.

Yelp
This was our first visit and the food was very good. The pizzas were tasty (had a thicker crust) and the salads were excellent. We'll be back!

Deborah D.

Yelp
Haven't been here in over a year--my loss. Brought some friends from the neighborhood who had never tried it. Three of us had different pizzas and all simply GUSHED with the same "this is the BEST pizza I've ever had!!!!" Couldn't stop praising it with every bite. I remembered that from pre-pandemic and confirmed it today. But let's talk about the salads and salad dressing--fresh, crisp, delicious greens and homemade dressings to die for. Great size. And the meatball sandwich the 4th in our party had was, as he put it, "a tad better than my all-time favorite." All in all, this place is perfection for the limited menu they serve. If you want anything that they have on their menu, you won't find better anywhere. My only suggestion is they should add a satisfying side dish to go with the sandwiches to the menu--fries, macaroni salad, mac & cheese. Potato chips are okay with lunch but don't make it for dinner and Barfly's is only open for lunch F-S-S.

Yelp
I searched Yelp for the best pizza and this place came up. The slices in the pics looked like Chicago-style, so I made my husband drive me there on a rainy Saturday night. We sat ourselves and ordered one white pizza to share. What a mistake! We should've ordered two pizzas. So hot, so cheesy, so cakey. After we devoured that first pizza, we ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo pizza. They were both the best pizzas that we have had in a long, long time.
google avatar

Liz V.

Yelp
This is my new favorite pizza and as a self-identified pizza fatty(trust me on this one) it's simply the best! The reviews weren't kidding when they called out the pizza and friendly service. We stopped in on a Saturday night around 8:30 and it was busy. We walked past the packed bar and a very friendly bartender set us up at a two top. Lots of beers on draft and the ambiance is friendly and cozy. There were even some parties with little toddlers running around so definitely a laidback atmosphere. The servers pushed together a table of 10 in the back too so this place accommodates everyone large and small! I highly recommend this place for a good eats and the pizza (I'm in love with the crust) is to die for!
google avatar

Rachel A.

Yelp
Two reasons to come to Barfly's. Number one is the whiskey: ~250 different choices of any style you could wish for. They run a Century Club of 90 named whiskies plus ten write-ins. Although completion doesn't get you much more than kudos, it's a great way to try some new distilleries. If you're less inclined to tick off a list, the bartenders really know their stuff. This evening I went for a familiar Copper Fox, which is super smoky and delicious, and a new-to-me Amador Double Barrel, which was a little bland. Reason number two is the pizza. I don't even know what style it is. Deep pan, personal-sized pizzas, with a phenomenal parmesan-coated crust. The spinach pizza is a personal favorite, but I haven't had a bad one yet. Tonight's choice was a spicy ham and cheese that wasn't quite spicy enough, but was pepped up well with some red pepper flakes. Other than reasons one and two, Barfly's is a pretty standard Baltimore bar. Decent amount of seating for a rowhome-wide space, TVs with the O's losing as per recently, and homely decor. Basically pretty much perfect.
google avatar

Rebecca L.

Yelp
This isn't my first time visiting Barfly's. Their pizza is super tasty! It isn't your usual thin crust or thick crust, but there is definitely substance to the crust. I love the spinach white pizza. They have an amazing salad dressing on the table and goes well with their house salad and dipping the pizza and crust in! Their hot and spicy pizza isn't actually spicy, but tasty none the less. Will definitely be returning!
google avatar

Lexa S.

Yelp
Food- Yes. Yes. The pizza is delicious and semi deep dish. I love the 4 cheese pizza my gosh! And the sauce they have in big bottles is some ceaser concoction that is fantastic with everything. I also like that they have my fav Sorry Chicky sour beer. If you're into whiskey they have a giant selection. Service- Always good, nice service. Owners are cool. Atmosphere- Good location in federal hill. Nice local spot. Sometimes gets overpacked, especially when they have random events/birthdays? in the back. Also the wait for the pizza sometimes takes a while, and they aren't very good about judging time for to go orders(never as quick as they say). They've offered a beer before when they took too long time.
google avatar

Kamilah K.

Yelp
Open during covid. Was hungry and wanted a decent bite so decided to come here. Matt is a great bartender and the pizza was delicious. I ordered a vegetarian pizza. I am normally not a fan of thick crust but wow! The crust is so buttery it practically melts. I would come again!

Yelp
Don't miss out on the pizza here : amazing!! Yes, the best pizza in Baltimore is at Barfly's. It's a personal size (although enough for two people with a salad and appetizer). The crust is thick almost like a pan pizza but not greasy at all and so deliciously crunchy. The dough is very wonderfully fragrant with that proper yeast fermentation. The toppings are also fresh and not overloaded. You can get sausage pepperoni, bacon.... they brown their bacon perfectly. The tomato sauce is very tasty with a perfect amount of Italian spices. I loooove this pizza. Barfly's is also a great bar with the largest whiskey selection I've seen. Great service and adherence to Covid protocols. We love this place.

Yelp
Very accommodating with carry out during the COVID-19 quarantine. Everyone kept their distance when picking up their orders and they even had a pen sanitizing station for us to use when signing the check. Pizza was delicious and my fiancé's Italian cold cut sandwich was awesome.

Yelp
Finally made it to Barfly's and can't believe I waited so long to check it out! Located among the row houses lining fort avenue, Barfly's interior is surprisingly nice! A clean modern bar with an open area and darts board in the back, this place was busy but not over crowded on a Friday night. We sat at the bar and were helped immediately by a friendly and knowledgeable bartender. Known for their bourbon and whiskey, we let the bartender make recommendations for us and we're not disappointed! The food menu is primarily pizzas, with appetizers and a few entrees spindled in the mid. We opted for the much recommended pizzas. I went for the hot and spicy, which was delicious and just as advertised. Don't leave without trying their homemade special sauce! Our group was 50/50 love it, hate it. I personally loved it! Overall, a nice, clean bar with friendly servers and good whiskey and pizza!7

Yelp
They say history is written by the winners, and while I don't necessarily endorse that saying, in this case it does seem to apply. As a result of some kind of feud that I don't understand and also as a result of having really really good pizza, I will pronounce that Barfly's has the best pizza in Locust Point (for sure) and best pizza in Fed Hill (for most likely) and top three pizza in all of Baltimore (I see you Paulie Gees and Joe Squared). Pizza? Isn't this a bar, you ask? Stop taking the name so literally, I answer. Their pizza is great. GREAT, I tell you. We got the spinach pizza (the regular, not the white spinach pizza - I don't like when my pizza announces its color these days) and the hot and spicy pizza. Both of those are deep dish, proving yet again the "common" saying that Baltimore Pizza invented Chicago Pizza. The spinach pie was incredible, and the best pizza I've had since leaving New York. The hot and spicy was hot on its heels, so to speak, and was also awesome. We also got to try the famous / infamous sauce for the crust (overrated - the crust is perfect as is) and one leftover slice of buffalo chicken pizza (from our dining buddies, not randomly off someone else's table) and it was also great. The beer list is very solid too, and the prices are all reasonable. If you aren't eating here, basically, you're messing up. Step up your pizza scene!
