Best hostel I’ve stayed at so far on my travel! Charly the hostel owner is making you feel like you’re part of his family and every morning he prepares delicious breakfast for you. The rooms are basic, but super clean and beds are comfortable. In general, he loves to have everything clean and the hostel is super comfortable and it’s easy to meet people here! Another plus, the location! Close to the water (amazing view onto the water from the living room), close to the mountains and close to the center of Bariloche. I would give this hostel more than 5 stars if I could!

They literally threatened to call the police on me because I threw up in the common room! Apparently, after returning from a night out (on which someone obviously spiked my drink) I lay down in the common room and threw up. I did not fight with anyone, break anything or misbehave in general. When it was brought to my attention that I had thrown up and I would need to pay for the cleaning of the throw blanket that was on the sofa, I was super apologetic and agreed to do so. I was also asked to pack up my things pay and leave, which I also agreed to do so without in any way arguing against it and while apologizing profusely (cameras footage can be checked) However, for absolutely no reason whatsoever, the woman who handles reception made completely unwarranted and unsavory remarks about my having been out drinking when I said I must've been spiked at the bar. I woke up with no memory of the night after I had one particular shot at the bar. I am 34 years old. It is not my first time out drinking but this is the first time this happened. Clearly something was off with that drink and instead of showing me any empathy this woman started shaming me for drinking! Said it was my fault! Made inaccurate and highly judgemental comments about how she saw me drinking for 7 days. I was there for 6 days out of which I drank with others staying on only 4 nights and behaved badly on 0 of them! I made friends with almost everyone and was pleasant with everyone when drinking and when not. I gave them absolutely no reason to make such nasty comments about me. And this is all after I already apologized for throwing up and agreeing to pay for cleaning and after agreeing to leave! Disgusting unnecessary shaming comments. Told me that in 20-25 years of running the hostel they had never had anyone throw up (highly unlikely). Well I've stayed at 400+ hostels, worked at 2 hostels, over 44 countries in my 9 years of travelling full time and have NOT ONCE seen anyone shamed, asked to leave and threatened with the police for simply being drunk and throwing up! When I handed her my card to pay for the stay she very rudely said she didn't want to touch my things! In a tone as if I'm an untouchable! Unbelievably horrific behaviour from incredibly unprofessional people. Even did this vile woman a favour one day by keeping tabs on the door while she had to leave the hostel to run an errand. Also the dorm bathroom is always disgusting and we had to repeatedly ask for toilet rolls to be replaced and squeegees to clean it ourselves.

This is an excellent hostel and very good value for money! Great location with amazing views over the lake, very cosy and relaxing vibe, all the facilities you need including a well stocked kitchen, the beds are very comfortable too. A great breakfast is included. Charly was very nice and always around with helpful advice for activities in Bariloche.

We planned to stay three but due to bariloche and the hostel itself we stayed five nights. We had a double with private bathroom. Very clean and new. Bed was confortable, shower was prefect, size of the room was ok, kitchen sufficient, breakfast was maybe a little basic but we've had far worse elsewhere. Staff was very very friendly and glad to help plan trips. ||At one evening, the owner had a pizza party among some friends (in honour of a friend that was leaving I believe). The previous evening there was nobody except us cooking, but that night it seemed everyone wanted to cook at the same time. The owner tried to take into account the presence of the hostel guests but that's not that easy. As a paying guest, that can be experienced as somewhat annoying. I believe this was rather an exceptional occurrence though. ||All in all I had a great time and it's definitely worth 5 stars.

We stayed at this very clean and cosy hostel for 2 days. Our room had a fantastic view over the lake (in a normal hotel this would certainly ad extra costs). In the morning we received a delicious but small breakfast. Finally and most importantly we received great hiking tips from Sebastian, working in the hostel during our stay.||||We certainly would stay there again. Thanks for the great time there Sebastian.

From the moment we arrived the manager couldn't help enough. The rooms were excellent, wifi really good and breakfast was fine. I personally would have liked some cereal but that's just preference. |Really good rates and he helped us get trips organised of sky diving which is amazing here.
