We dined as a group of four. I ordered the special pasta and received it about 10 minutes after ordering, however it arrived cold, as if it had been plated immediately and left sitting on the pass. The pasta itself was average quite bland but edible and I imagine it would have been much nicer if it were at least warm.
The two pizzas ordered didn’t arrive until around 30 minutes after my meal. By that point I had already finished eating, as my food was cold and I didn’t want it sitting there any longer. The pizzas themselves were good.
We then waited another 20 minutes for the final meal, a burger. After asking a waiter about it, we were told they’d follow it up, but they never returned. After another 10 minutes we went inside and asked to have it takeaway instead. The waiter immediately grabbed a burger off the window and put it straight into a takeaway box, which suggested it had already been sitting there.
Throughout the night, the service seemed very disorganised. The food bell was ringing constantly, yet waitstaff were rarely around, so meals appeared to be sitting for extended periods. Getting drinks at the bar also took an extremely long time, as staff seemed more focused on cleaning glasses than serving the 10 or so people waiting.
To top it off, off-the-clock employees were smoking in the outdoor dining area despite clear no-smoking signage not something you want to smell while trying to enjoy a meal.
Overall, the food itself had some positives, but the poor timing, lack of communication, and inattentive service really let the experience down.
