Order the bacon and egg burger you will not regret it. Soft delicious 😋 😍 cooked to perfection. Curry pies are great too. Customer Serb with a 😃 smile. Great to chat to the ladies.

Delicious food and great service. Dessert was so good we ordered twice. Place was full when we arrived and had to sit outside. But it was Good Friday and all other places were closed so no surprise.

We ordered the seafood platter, bangers and mash, the bark mill pizza and drinks. The seafood platter was sold out but they told us quickly and helped us change it to the Tassie scallops. Outstanding. All of the food was fantastic, fresh and hot. We ended up taking the desert of the day to go as well.

Good food and nice staff. Beers were a little flat and chips needed sauce but otherwise a good tavern experience.

What a beast of a meal! We ordered the special of the day a chorizo, pesto, parmigiana. Was beautifully cooked and delicious. Real CHUNK of chicken (not that processed stuff) and we ordered sweet potato chips which were to die for. Thankyou!

Got two wood fire pizzas (one tropical and one satay) takeaway and they were perfect. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. No wait time at all by the time I drove 10-15 minutes to the restaurant.

Very nice place, the food was wonderful, the lamb omg. The oyster was good too. I definitely recommend!

Extremely disappointing meals at the tavern. Unfortunately the reviews are absolutely correct with regards to the long wait time- we waited over 1 hour for our meals for very classic and basic pub food. When we notified the waiter about this, he kindly apologised but also gave the impression ‘that’s just the way it is’ with the kitchen. It seems there is no system in the kitchen with regards to serving the orders. We had tables who came in and placed orders 20 mins after us getting served before us and also had other tables with nearly all of their guests finishing their meals before the last guest finally received their creamy chicken pasta. The most frustrating issue after waiting over 1 hour for a meal is getting an incorrect dish. We opted for one of their fish specials with creamy tomato sauce but the fish we received came with no cream but a pool of butter and a handful of tomatoes. When we asked the server for some creamy tomato sauce, the server immediately questioned our choice thinking we made a mistake and thought we ordered the fish and chips and wasn’t until we showed him the menu board that he realised the dish even existed. Unfortunately there are not many places open on a Monday evening but would recommend going elsewhere for dinner until they fix their service times. However judging from past reviews - this has been a long standing issue that will once again be passed on but not actually fixed

This place was quite a find, lovely food. The salmon was the best yet I had in Tassie, lovely and fresh and great portions, great service with a smile. Highly recommend!

Nicey but pricey!! The food at the tavern is excellent. It's cooked and presented beautifully and the portion sizes are quite decent. A big thumbs up for the wood fired oven - we had some lovely oven baked fish. The staff are very friendly - Brendan really made us feel welcome and took the time to talk to us even though it was busy. The food is a little bit expensive for pub food though. I think that this is easily the best option for eating in Swansea, it was the only one recommended by our B&B hosts and other locals.

My gathering of three found the dining area well appointed and the wait staff helpful. We got our beers first and placed our food order at the bar. The meals were up quickly and we enjoyed them. The portions were generous and nicely prepared. Overall a 4 star experience.
