What a lovely gem in Bridgetown! Loved the woody & homey deco of Barking Cow Cafe. Staff were warm & attentive. Food were so delicious & coffee was good too. I have the Special of the day - Chicken, Mushrooms & Leek Lasagna with salad. It was so yummilicious! Hubby had the Chicken freshly baked rolls & he loved it too. Keep up the excellent cooking & service ladies 👍 Will definitely be back if we pass Bridgetown again.

Stopped in on our way through Bridgetown for some quick breakfast. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming which created a warm atmosphere inside. They accommodated for our baby by providing a high chair for us. Our food was AMAZING! Everything was great but the staff were what made it a memorable experience. Definitely recommend if you’re stopping through.

We popped in just before closing and grabbed a Rocky Road hot chocolate it was so good we had to come back for breakfast the next day to sample the food. Staff super friendly, food really tasty. My son loved the banana bread. Partner devoured the pancake special, we will be back the next time we are in the area for sure.

Loved it here! Such friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed the savoury muffin and a yummy almond cap. Would recommend! They also have cute books around the cafe where you can write who you are and where you’re from.

An excellent choice for lunch in the pretty and charming town of Bridgetown. The fried eggs with bacon on house made toast was really tasty and very filling. I would say it was good value too. The staff were very friendly and the vibe is a little funky which we love. I would definitely recommend The Barking Cow. Also I had a flat white which was lovely too. Thanks guys.

We loved our coffee and breakfast so much that we came back again the next morning. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. We even got a Puppa-ccino and a dog treat for our fur baby. Definitely have to try this place. It’s the best!

Yelp
Fantastic find on our few days away in Bridgetown. Warm and welcoming cafe with friendly, attentive staff. We popped in for a late (very late!) breakfast, and we were pleasantly surprised they were still serving the breakfast menu. All of the food was delicious, particularly the homemade bread!! All of the produce was local and everything tasted homemade, which is exactly what we were looking for as we were relaxing down south. The coffee was OK, I prefer stronger, but definitely still drinkable. Highly recommend for an affordable and tasty stop in a picturesque town.

Yelp
Unpretentious honest food at its freshest best. A small but interesting menu, we opted for their house prepared beef burger and a chicken, Brie and tamarind chutney roll, with freshly squeezed apple and ginger to quench our thirst in the middle of the first hot spell of summer. As we waited we realised we had stumbled on the holy grail of travellers: the place where the locals eat! Tables of "ladies who lunch", office workers, retired couples and one or two single people drinking coffee and doing the crossword. What better endorsement than a busy hub in a sleepy hollow? Our food arrived, two large, fresh, full rolls which we split and shared. The burger patty was juicy, flavoursome and had just the right amount of texture. The chicken was moist and tender with an abundance of gooey room temperature Brie oozing amongst the nicely balance tamarind savoury sweet chutney. The fresh juice was the ideal accompaniment. We didn't stay for a coffee but the cake looked tempting enough to bring us back another day for coffee (or choose from a large selection of teas) and cake!

Yelp
Decent take away coffee and breakfast. Probs the best option in town and not too expensive
