"A Little Bit of Heaven in Western Nebraska" We have been there four times since 2010. (Need I say more?) We enjoy the peace and quiet out there on the prairie -- just a great place to recharge the batteries. The facilities are excellent, surprisingly well done in an old converted barn (hence the name). With all of the native American artifacts that they have collected, it is actually a museum as well. All of this is aptly placed within eyesight of Scottsbluff National Monument, which encompasses one of the iconic markers of the Oregon Trail -- Mitchell Pass. Equally excellent are the gracious hosts, Cher and Allan. There are always attentive to every need and request. And breakfast is always a morning treat that provides a great start to do the day ..... whether that be just relaxing on the balcony or in the hammock or another quiet spot on the property, or taking a day trip to one of several interesting historical attractions in the area. Even Cheyenne (one of our favorite cities) is only 90 minutes away. We have our reservation already made for later this Summer!

I have stayed at the Barn Anew Bed And Breakfast several times. Each time it has been an enjoyable experience. Allan and Cher are great hosts, friendly and down to earth. If you happen to be there when they are having the bluegrass jam, be sure to go. It is a very enjoyable way to spend an evening!

A unique and calming historical setting we enjoyed for 6 days. Allan and Cher are gracious hosts who welcomed us into their home. Cher's breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed Allan's conversations. The decor, rooms, grounds, and views are spectacular. We are eager to return and watch the sun rise over the bluffs. I've stayed at the Barn Anew several times, it's the only place I will stay when in western Nebraska! I love this place! I highly recommend spending a couple of days with Allen and Cher! Very comfortable, relaxing, and the food is amazing! The views of Scottsbluff monument are wonderful. I can't wait to go back.

Beautiful old refurbished barn with 4 different bedrooms and a large common area for guests all upstairs. Hosts are a wonderful couple with lots of interesting life experiences to share. I would not hesitate for a minute to go back if we are ever back to the area.

Stayed here a couple of months ago for a week. Owners were gracious, food was plentiful, rooms were very clean and the location is great for a stay in Scottsbluff. Liked it enough that I will be returning to the B&B. Can only say that for two other B&B's that I've stayed at. Yes, I'm picky.

I got to attend one of the bluegrass jam sessions in the bunkhouse and it was a blast! Local musicians, a wonderful space decorated with lots a cool vintage coke memrabilia and very friendly people. I highly recommend it!

Friendly innkeeper, delicious breakfasts and peaceful country setting near Scottsbluff Natl Monument. Bonus: 2 sweet outdoor kitties, Dick and Jane.

Yelp
Quiet, clean, with interesting artwork and furniture. Native American and western art. The hosts were quietly efficient and served a delicious breakfast. The only sound you hear is a distant train but it is only remarkable because it is so quiet at all other times. You are in the middle of a bunch of fields in a renovated barn where the grounds are beautifully maintained and can be used as a wedding venue

Yelp
My wife recommended staying here while attending a conference in Gering. She said what a wonderful place it is. It truly is a beautiful place in one of the most majestic parts of the state. They were very accommodating of me and my fellow guests. It is not like you can just be driving by to find the place, but the effort to go is well worth it. I like the theme rooms and all the treasures on display. I look forward to a future visit very soon.

Yelp
We stayed here as part of an anniversary road. The Owners were great and the food was excellent and there is a nice common area to relax in, but the room was tiny and didn't have any real storage/closet space. In other words you'll probably really enjoy your stay here as long as you don't intend to spend much time in your room.

Yelp
The house is a veritable museum of Western and American Indian history. Look out from the deck and see Mitchell Pass that was part of the Oregon Trail. The owners are knowledgeable and friendly. Great breakfast.

Yelp
For some reason i stayed here on the previous reviews recommendation. Firstly one of the owners was very rude and i would of stayed somewhere else but it is out in the middle of nowhere. The room I was given was filthy (pubes on the sheets). Cher was nice to deal with , but if i was her I would keep her husband locked away while guests are there. Stay in town, its not worth it
