I visited this store with my 16 year old & he loved it! We mainly got brain teasers & card games, but there's a huge selection of books. The place is organized & the staff is very friendly & helpful. They also have a Starbucks in the store which is great for resting your tired feet.

I love this B&N! It has two floors, is spacious, and has a Starbucks with an area to sit, eat, have coffee, or do some work. My only complaint is that it can be difficult to find a worker sometimes. I’m curious to see what it looks like after the remodeling is done.

Google
Very great place. Everything was off and there was lots of books to choose from. The staff were extremely nice and friendly. But they ran out of bags fast I think they need more bags and people should bring their own bag just case they don’t have anymore. They also had college essay books and other educational books and materials.

Google
Book store w/ board games & kids toys, includes a Starbucks cafe inside. They have 2 floors and a huge variety of books including a very large area for kids books including a cozy reading area for them. They have an isle with discount books too. Great place to get a gift for someone. I hope this place stays in business forever; it should be a landmark & protected.

Love this location… just a little confused with the security or whatever the girl was at the door. I walked in with my children and I placed my daughters scooter on the side OUT OF THE WAY. And the brown skin lady security whatever decided to say “I ain’t watching that” and I explained to her that I didn’t ask her too . She couldve been nice and said anything else. But decided to tell me that she isnt watching the scooter. How rude and unprofessional. Get that chick out of there

I really love making a visit to this Cafe. The baristas are always very friendly with me and happy to be a help. I've been coming here for years and have never had a problem. If you have a problem, it's because you ARE the problem 🤣. Sonia, Antoine, Adrian, Zadie, Caila are all super kind and friendly, genuine people. They show care and concern. Love going to see them! As for the food, it is what it is. I usually have a spinach feta pretzel and maybe a blueberry muffin here and there. Cafe environment is +++ usually a good place to get work done if you can do ambient noise.

Google
I really like this location it’s really calm and the employees are usually very polite. I’ve been coming here ever since I was little girl. The only thing is with so many new releases and the demand being high they have to lie on the phone and say they don’t have any in stock. I came in the same day and they had the same item I was looking for when I asked them if they had it earlier in the day on the phone they said no which was odd. I never had issues with this location but that was so abnormal. It use to be so easy to get what you want now you have to repeatedly come in to check.

Google
Super nice Barnes and Nobles with a cafe you can go to after you’ve bought (probably too many) books! It’s definitely my favorite one in Brooklyn based on size and variety! Staff is helpful too!

Yelp
Came in earlier today, got a few books on programming. Everyone was super helpful, they had great prices. Felt I got a few good deals here. I like the starbeez inside the place too!

Yelp
One of my favorite stores, totally recommend, I been going here for years and the staff is very nice. All though it was one woman who was very mean to me but besides that everything else is great

Yelp
1st and Basement. the Starbucks is included.( when I was there, cashier was very nice and friendly! ) it's very relaxed Vibes and pretty safe. i don't think you won't miss this place when you're Closer to get there. If you're coming by car, NY Prespeterian has A parking lots next door. Enjoy shopping and cafe :) Bathroom is in the basement. escalator and elevator are available. I'll come back soon and spend time here again.

Yelp
I like hidden gems. This barnes and noble is surprisingly large and filled with books most Barnes and don't carry. I came here to buy Charles Bukowski's "Post office" & "Women" novels. I left buying three books just due to scarcity from elsewhere. The staff helped me find everything I was searching for. There's some good cafes nearby for some calm reading.

Yelp
I just go for the books but I just wanted some information and the worker was able to help me and he was just very kind and nice . I love the set up . I wish they had a bigger journal section but it's decent and they have new books on the top floor and the bottoms floor is for the kids and teens and some older books as well as cook books . It's quite big . And can be overwhelming but I love books lol . I thought everyone was pretty nice . This Barnes and nobles is up the block from a school so having loads of kids and teens in it is to be expected . But I had a pleasant experience

Yelp
It's my favorite bookstore. And it's in demand by everyone and me (too). I came in store to see how the autobiography of Britney Spears looks alive, and what information is inside the prose to share with all of you! The first time of my acquaintance with Barnes And Noble - happened in the year 2010, when my classmates and I had gone on a school trip with our English teacher by bus (this location on 7th Avenue and 6th street, since it is the closest), and I have my favorite prose bought: "The Hobbit", "The Lord Of The Rings", and "The Three Musketeers". As the gifts for my relatives' birthday, I buy books online - https://www.barnesandnoble.com , when it's cheaper and/or bookcovers are prettier and more classy, also the rent of printed prose and poetry is quite pricey, and thus I prefer to place order on the website, and I let the postal couriers work. Plus, I save my precious time! Some of the books I purchased online are: "The Archer" & "Brida" -- Paulo Coelho, also "The Raven Prince" by Elizabeth Hoyt. January 8th, 2024: I was very, very hungry tonight at almost 6 p.m., and ordered from the baristas a cup of medium sized coffee with milk (3 little packs of sugar was not enough at all, but I was careless, and very much tired after the 9-hour presence at the court, thus, I took one cup of milk cream, 3 also substitutes of sugar, and it was very good already), one big cookie made of sugar butter ($2.50), and 1 bottle of "Dr. Pepper", and overall receipt I've received - was $11.11 . There was a better - the way better selection of J. R. R. Tolkien's books, regarding the current covers. I arrived by B67 bus, and turned opposite direction, when the bus stopped at 6th street & 7th avenue; and when I was upon my way back home - so did I going by F train, which is "Hiding" after 3 streets, the transfer of my debit card has worked out!

Yelp
Lovely bookstore that I love to visit and buy books from. Super friendly staff! Support your local bookstore!

Yelp
Starbucks in the Barnes noble doesn't know how to make coffees. I ordered decaf the old lady worked there told me they don't have decaf, americano is the same. So funny, they don't know the difference between decaf and americano... the gave me americano with milk in it as a decaf..

Yelp
Three star review fits the this Barnes and Noble Yes books are freakin awsome inspiring to read. So I decided to have a nice Starbucks iced coffee and a piece of cheese broccoli quiche. My was bold Perfect and quiche was tasty nothing to brag about. It had broccoli cheese etc. it hit the spot for this girl who's always on the run on her job. So I guess in this little review I am also analyzing the Starbucks within the Barnes and Nobles. To be fair it really should be a two for one review Starbucks and good old Barnes & Noble's Walla.

Yelp
Park Slope Brooklyn Store : Item listed on their website is listed in stock and is not. Cashier quick to print a receipt rather than allow it to be sent via email and is unable/unwilling to go back to the transaction and email the receipt.

Hanna L.

Yelp
This store has taken a sharp downturn over last few years. No longer a place for people who like to read. No longer a cozy family-friendly neighborhood hangout--the store's shelves are now full of toys, cards, knickknacks, manga and bodice ripper romance novels. The shelves of actual books are smaller and barer. There are no longer any chairs to sit on. If you sit on the floor to examine a book you get chased off-- the admonition to " go sit in the cafe" is useless because the limited seating there is wholly occupied by those camped out with their laptops. There's still Community Bookstore--and as always--Amazon. Skip this Barnes and Noble--it's no longer about serious reading or community.
google avatar

Lafayette H.

Yelp
It's nice to sit and read here and order coffee or whatever. I ordered a blueberry muffin. It was too soft and mushy and sugary. I complained to the staff and they said they have no control over them. "They come frozen and then we just heat them up." I said: "Oh that's the problem! got it. Thanks." So now I'm thinking, who needs a frozen then heated up muffin in Park Slope? Or anywhere in New York City for that matter? Anyway back to my books.

Yelp
Just a nice respite in this weird section of Park Slope. The hospital across the street creates a void of other businesses, but this is a really nice store with a really nice Starbucks coffee cafe with plenty of seating. A lot of Brooklyn focused books, kids things, and comic book collectibles. Also, the largest magazine section I've ever seen. I think I like this store better than the flagship store in Union square. I didn't go downstairs but there is another level for your reading pleasure. Check it out.
google avatar

Yelp
B and N is great. They are helpful. They have a large assortment of games and collectibles. The store is always organized. The book collection is strong . They have the mini Starbucks. The staff is good at service. They even have a records collection and journal/ notebook display. Why it has 3 star average is behind me.
google avatar

Yelp
Not much to say I stepped in to browse. It is a mid-sized B&N with the latest releases. The first floor is not that large, find your book if not I saw staff around but not many. There is a lower level with more items and a broader selection there. Other than that it was first visit and a simple/quick one. I thought it was pretty clean, nothing bad. In the back there is a small Starbucks but it has many tables and seats. Order drinks, a snack, free WiFi, and free ice water to refresh. Most seats were taken but I snagged one for a few minutes using my cell since I didn't find anything readable or of interesting to purchase.

Yelp
I love Barnes and Noble- I've been buying new adventures here since I was in high school, I used to study at thier cafes in college (and occasionally sneak off for a story haha) but I had THE worst experience I've ever had here with a cashier. The lady was super judgey about a couple diet books I was picking up (not for me, for my mother)- calling me a skinny bitch and such (I'm NOT, I'm 5'5 and 145...). I think her name was Cathy(Kathy?)- she was super rude and made me so self-conscious about my purchase and my body... And I'm not one to fat-shame but she was a really obese women too! Barnes and Noble- your cashiers need to keep thier personal issues personal!

Yelp
I went into this Starbucks in Barnes and Noble and requested the lunch special for 8 bucks and a pink drink.I was informed that they were not really a starbucks and they only do coffee.I then requested a refresher, and was told they don't make them either. What kind of Starbucks are they???Would definitely not return to that Starbuck 03/24/18 I'm updating this review as the Starbucks in this Barnes and Nobles has improved dramatically since my last review. Staff are super friendly, and will give you recommendations or substitutions for your drinks/order. It seems they pretty much make any drink requested nowadays, thank goodness! Great improvement..

Yelp
A big "thank you" to the manager working there today - Shauna - who very graciously did a big favor for me, and she has a very warm personality.
google avatar

Dana M.

Yelp
I came here to look for a few books on Special Education and to study for a bit in the café. It was so crowded and warm inside. The café tables were in need of a good clean. The male barista was very nice. It took me a solid 5 minutes of walking in the store to find the restroom. It's in the lower level, at the far left corner. The signage around the store is not easy to follow. Meh, this just isn't the place to sit for a while or spend a long time in. It's almost overwhelming, which bookstores should not be. I'm giving 3 stars because it's not comfortable or inviting here. I did successfully find the types of books I was looking for.

Yelp
This Barnes and Noble location is great! We frequently visit the spacious children's section located downstairs. There is a wonderful selection of children's books and they even have a toy box for kids to play with. Their young adult fiction section is pretty great (an entire aisle)! They also have a wonderful selection of board games downstairs. I took away one star because I do with they had a wider selection of children's Spanish books. Overall, a pretty wonderful spot.

Yelp
Books! I have always enjoyed bookstores and the many aisles, bookcases filled with books of all genres. I am traditional conservative as I highly prefer to physically hold a book and hand turn the pages plus place a bookmark inside a book. BOOKS!! In the digital age with technology advancing and progress moving forward, it is comforting to know that a traditional book store still stands as a testament against the fight of technology. This Barnes and Noble sits in Brooklyn's Park Slope and is easily accessible by F train at 7th Avenue. I came here to attend a poetry reading on a Thursday evening. Management is very accommodating and cooperative to setup the chairs, podium with a working microphone. Our group with approximately twenty avid poets and writers all eager to recite our own literary creation which the microphone acoustic was audible and projected to an audience. Our poetry Open Mic reading was discreetly setup in the lower level in the far, far distant rear away from the Starbucks café, children's department, new releases, and away from popular literary genres. In scanning through their departments I wished I had more time to browse and possibly purchase a journal or notebook plus a fictional book-- my mind is affixed to "The Old Man and the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway. I always like good quality literature. "People in their right minds never take pride in their talents." -- Harper E. Lee, author of "To Kill a Mockingbird"

Yelp
Best place ever always great drinks, neat and clean . Workers are helpful always. Always new books

Yelp
I love Barnes and Noble but I've had two incidents now at this location that have been frustrating. Firstly, I don't think it's too much to ask for good condition books, yet I've found that many copies of their hard covers are damaged. When I requested that the store order me a version that hasn't been on the shelves, I was told by that most books are damaged during shipping and advised to watch a YouTube video for cleaning scratches. Then today, while grabbing a book of the lowest shelf, an employee sped by the aisle and yelled "No sitting on the floor!" at me. As a grown adult not loitering, I found this completely unnecessary and truly off putting.

Yelp
This was my first time at this store and I was very pleased. We stayed in the store for about thirty five minutes just browsing and checking out books. I also love the fact that there is a Starbucks here as well. Nothing like a good cup of coffee and a good book.....just goes together well. My 14 year old son absolutely loves Barnes and Noble, he left us as soon as we entered the store lol. The staff was very polite and helpful. My experience was pleasant and I definitely see myself coming back here.
google avatar

Ebony C.

Yelp
I'm bias b/c I am probably one of the few people that still buys an actual book. I'm also a B&N member...so of course I still love this place. I usually go after 8pm.. when it's nice and quiet and there are only 10 people in the whole store..makes me feel like I have te place to myself. If you still likebrowsing and buying an actual book... might as well come here!
google avatar

Yelp
I really like this location! My mother frequents Methodist Hospital (no pun intended)...and my brother LOVES Starbucks so it's mandatory that we stop by. Enough of the rambling! Very nice place to visit. Prices are the typical B&N/Starbucks prices. All of the employees are very nice and helpful. I have four stars because the escalator was not working and no sign was posted. My mother ended up walking down the escalator with her cane. We had to ask about an elevator. Secondly, there was an elementary school visiting today and it was very noisy. Other than that...highly recommend!
google avatar

May M.

Yelp
I love my B&N! I always end up here whenever I'm walking around Park Slope. I have my nook, but there is nothing better than turning the pages of a book and holding it in your own hand. I also love getting lost in a bookstore, it's like a maze for me and you just don't know what you would discover as you walk and look for that book that when you read makes time fly by. Of course, it's always a plus that there's a Starbucks inside. Nothing better than sipping a cup of coffee while reading a book.

Yelp
I've been in here 3 or 4 times a month, ever since a year after they opened. Why the initial wait? My loyalty to small neighborhood businesses. Alas, I succumbed to variety's siren song. Even worse, I got the membership! With the amount of money I spend in there, the membership fee is a good deal. PROS: good selection of books and magazines. staff is usually great, especially the long time employees. author events. the cafe. CONS: the kid section gets bigger every year, though of course other customers like it, this being Park Slope. Also the non kid non book stuff takes up way too much real estate. Occasionally new cafe staff can be indifferent; but these folks seem to move on fairly quickly. Store got rid of the nice chairs, and the few left downstairs are not comfy; but then, people used to hog the nice chairs, claiming them with a coat and then wandering off; so perhaps it's just as well. NOTE: the cafe sells Starbucks products but it is not a Starbucks store. It's still B&N. Starbucks cards won't work here. A few other differences. BOTTOM LINE: I'd give the place 3 stars but the staff is so good, they pull it up to 4 stars. Knowledgeable and always patient. The cafe folks know me and remember my preferences. BICYCLES: another reviewer was frustrated because the few city racks are always full. There are big, free, COVERED bike racks just inside the hospital parking garage. On 6th Street, follow the driveway behind the store. Not visible from the store entrance but easy to find and quite handy.

Jon V.

Yelp
Terrible manager, terrible security. All very bad and harassing constantly. This whole business should be boycotted. I wrote to customer service and I Never heard back. I called customer service and they were just as condescending, rude and power hungry and after being fakely polite they hung up. Boycott this place. It's a monopoly anyway and it is Not cool.
google avatar

A Z.

Yelp
They recently reorganized the entire store so I had to walk around the store for awhile to get familiar with the different sections. Now I know where to find the finance books (1st floor, toward the back) or the fiction/romance/mystery books (also first floor, toward the front). FYI, forget finding a chair or seat here...EVER! There are people everywhere hogging chairs in the front or seating on the good spots around the window. I miss the days of those comfy green cushioned chairs B&N used to provide.
google avatar

Kelsey B.

Yelp
Growing up, I used to love coming to b&n and sitting down with a starbucks coffee and reading, but this one does tend to get a little crowded. It is in a popular location, right by NYM, and in the summer, they hold street fairs right outside on 7th ave, so be prepared to sift through the masses in order to get your summer reading on! Selection is good, and the staff is helpful. There is a starbucks cafe inside with seating. Would be great if they had a little enclosed patio outdoor seating, but I won't push my luck. Books are expensive to buy. Try to find a softcover if you can.
google avatar

Briana M.

Yelp
As public restrooms go, this place could be worse! And you know what else is great? I can use my Barnes and Noble gift card for food! Yeah! Quick tip: If you're bored, just sit with a friend in the sex book section! Endless entertainment.
google avatar

Kelly T.

Yelp
I'm used to my nice, comfortable suburban B&N and my nice, comfortable suburban independent. Places to lounge, sparkly clean, spacious....Coming to tiny B&N mid-day on a Friday is like becoming an honorary member of Mom's Club. If I wanted a side of screaming kid with my books, I'd actually go the public library for Mommy & Me Reading Hour.
google avatar

Monica B.

Yelp
Great customer service and ample space at the Cafe! Great clearance section for writers** I especially appreciate the long list of best sellers they have in stock** the place was tidy, clean and smelled fresh. Everyone who had a question was helped within two minutes. Easy check out too*
google avatar

Jess H.

Yelp
When you enter the top floor, you might think you're in a typical B&N. They have cute notebooks and a cafe, as you'd expect. But as you get on the escalator to look at the books downstairs, you quickly hear that little voice in your head saying, "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here." The selection is very limited, but don't even think about using the computers to find that book that you want. Sure, it'll tell you the location of the book and that it's in stock, but it certainly won't be on the shelf. The staff won't be able to find it either. However, it is really close to my house, so I can't hate it THAT much.
google avatar

Caitlin M.

Yelp
"B-b-b-but I'm a teacher!" I plaintively whine as I continue to slide the book and the receipt on the counter to the unfriendly and unfeeling head cashier. It's 4 days past the 14 day return policy she drones as she blandly points to the back of the receipt. She then decides to make it worse by making the accusation that the book is not in new condition. Well then, you obviously don't sell new books, now do you? Boo. hoo. hoo. None of my future money to you!
google avatar

Taylor L.

Yelp
Corporations irritate me. I ask for so very little, Barnes and Noble. Just a bookstore, where I can read books. And a chair, so I don't have to stand anymore, because I'm tired, Barnes and Noble, so very tired, because I am not a corporation gal and I don't get to sit all day. Why won't you give me a chair? There is the cafe, but then of course you have to buy something. And deal with the twelve thousand middle-school students who come to chat (REALLY loudly) after class. "So then what happened was I told him that she said he said that, and she was like, "No he didn't," and I wasn't even trying to hear that, and - " I wasn't even trying to hear her either. But I couldn't help it. That being said - B&N always has a great magazine selection, by which I mean obscure literary and art magazines and the European versions of a lot of favorites, which is where I practice my Italian. But that's true in all of their stores. And some of their other stores have chairs. Big comfy chairs, that you can curl up in and read Sandman. Cushy happiness. Is it so hard, big corporation, to bring the cushy happiness?
google avatar

Daniele D.

Yelp
14 days receipt only return is a corporate policy - however flawed in a doomed market landscape for chain booksellers. That is management decision, and it is an annoying one. The obnoxious cashier that scuffed me as if I had the plague (read receipt older than 14 days) is not on. P.s. The nook is laughable, I had to get this thought in. Why bother, honestly, I mean why?
google avatar

Maya T.

Yelp
I seriously can spend hours here (and I do). I support small, independently owned businesses as much as possible but B&N is one of the few chains I break that rule for. You always know that you can hide away in one of the isles, grab a book of your choosing and read away with no one bothering you or saying anything. Considering it's a big-box, corporate chain, it's a decent bookstore. Teachers get a nice discount (sometimes it comes out to cheaper than the Amazon book price) so that's an added bonus for NYC DOE employees :) There's a Starbucks cafe on the ground floor (which I would not recommend because I personally hate Starbucks coffee) that has round tables and chairs for reading (though it's always packed so good luck ever finding a seat) and usually really noisy (so good luck concentrating on anything too). The best part about this B&N is the location. It's in the heart of Park Slope, right on 7th avenue, near the park and all the bars and restaurants. If I ever have some time to kill in the area before dinner plans or drinks with friends, I'm usually in one the isles meeting up with good old Nietzsche or Freud to help pass the time.

Yelp
Barnes and Nobles has become less of a necessity, Books are now available for half the price online through Book store outlets or downloads for Kindles. Barnes and Nobles is very expensive, and although it is nice to still have a book store to walk into, they forget that we now as consumers have many options when shopping for Books. I come in to Barnes and Noble only to browse for what I want and shop elsewhere because i am guaranteed a better a price ELSEWHERE. Barnes and Noble is a cool spot to physically browse and see what book you want, but I do not recommend purchasing anything from Barnes and Noble unless what you are looking for is on sale and/or it is your last option. This Barnes and Noble Branch has 2 levels, and pretty spacious with a nice Starbucks inside. The Staff at this Branch is friendly and very helpful. I would give it 4 stars but their prices are ridiculous lol, sorry Barnes and Noble.
google avatar

Ingrid S.

Yelp
I like this Barnes and Noble. I think I'm still more of a fan of Borders, rip. I especially miss the Borders by my office because it was super convenient. But this will do. It's walkable from the gym and you can get your mass produced starbucks and peruse the shelves for clearance items or in my case children's novels. What in the hell do kids read these days? Diary of a Whimpy Kid. But it gets weirder than that. I approve of the stuff that's based off of mythology like those Percy Jackson books and the Hunger Games. I'm guilty of reading all of them in like a week. But MAN. They have some weird stuff with those warrior cats, knock off harry potter series, and some crazy origami paper yoda pre-teen children series that I didn't read the back cover of because I felt Star Wars was being so wronged. Anyway, they still have the classics and I found what I wanted for a kid's birthday. Almost everything is downstairs and you will probably lose phone reception. I don't necessarily read young-adult fiction all the time but I'm a Lit/Classicist major from long ago and read everything for the most part and like to be kept updated. I also come to check out magazines that I'm too embarrassed to ever buy, I swear its not porn. But also, I usually only buy 'gift books' at Barnes and Noble and end up getting most stuff from the library or via kindle these days. Cook books make great gifts, though so do Barnes and Noble gift cards.

Yelp
Love this B&N. It's the closest one by me and I'm a fan of buying books rather than loaning from the library. I like their selection and just browsing around can be fun. This is the store that began my love for reading when I was a toddler. Spent a lot of time here reading with my mom back then. The addition of the cafe was also great. Been to it a couple of times and each time, the people behind the counter were really nice and funny. Some seating is available but it's usually not enough for all the people there. The line alone usually extends out of the cafe area. Overall, really good selection, and nice size. The workers there are also good from the help desk to the cafe to the registers. Glad this place is still here and hope it continues to be for a very long time.

Yelp
I've come to this store for about a year now. Big chain book stores usually always have the current affair books that I'm looking for. So that's always good. Unfortunately there is one place to lock your bike in front of the store and it is usually full. Many visits ago, i asked the security guard if there were a place to my bike since I'm just going to be in and out. He politely took my bike and set it off to the side in an area that was literally used for nothing. So every time from then on out, when the bike space was used up, a security guard would put it in that one area. Well on my last visit, a security guard kindly did the same thing for me. I go downstairs (great selection, by the way) and get the book I'm looking for, and then go back upstairs for the register. *Customer service here is great.* In total after browsing a bit, etc... i was probably 10 minutes. So, not long at all. Well when i go to get my bike, a new lady security guard (I've never seen before) told me i can't bring my bike in there. I ask why, due to it's the same size as a stroller and that it is in a blank space that is completely out of people's way. She told me it was management. Well, honestly, if that's the case, how come management has never told me that i couldn't do that out of all the times I have? And I would really like to have a manager tell me that, instead the whole "management policy" just coming off as an excuse. Anyway, Great selection of books. Great Customer Service. I just suggest put a sign that says "No Bikes" or something or at least put a bigger bike rack outside on the side of the store. And if a security guard really sees the whole bike situation as that much of a problem, get your boss, and tell him to tell me. Don't be rude and try to play hero, as if you have something to prove for your position.

Yelp
This is my Barnes and Noble. Almost everyday im here having a Mandark from Dexter's Lab moment. Im immersed in books, I read and dont buy some. The best! Great variety of books, the staff is alright, and the magazines (some worldwide variety!). I love the starbucks, my only issue is the starbucks is always full, meaning no seats, or something people leave books they took to read on the table and are gone. UGH. (AND STOP ASKING ME ABOUT MEMBERSHIP.) lol.

Yelp
Nice. Wide variety of books. I like the toys and boardgames section. It makes me relive my childhood. I secretly want to buy their apples to apples party size tin. I saw many cool and relevant bestsellers. There is even a spot to sit down and do some reading. There is a cafe and some great gifts here. Journals, nooks, and also some plush toys. I would come back. Sometimes, you see strollers and hear kids laughing or running around, but this is park slope, so I expect to see families. When I came, they were able to wrap my gift for Christmas for a small donation. Kind of awesome.

Yelp
service varies from day to day. usually theyre pretty nice but just a warning.. their cafe sells Starbucks coffee but doesnt take anything from the Starbucks app including gift cards and doesnt run any of the Starbucks promos. the book selection is good. kids section downstairs. bathrooms are pretty clean. I love spending a weekday afternoon here just relaxing by the window.

Yelp
This is a large Barnes and Noble. Inside are a starbucks, huge assortment of toys, ample room to sit at the cafe. The large book selection is a plus, but this location lacks an intimate feel conducive to a quiet reading experience. An overall decent location for coming in to grab a coffee and browsing the latest new releases. Finding a nook to read can be difficult.
