"In February, Pushkin Press is releasing a new edition of A Woman in the Polar Night, a memoir originally published in 1938 by an Austrian woman, Christiane Ritter, who spent a full year with her husband and another hunter in a hut in Svalbard, the Norwegian high Arctic island group. The physical hardship and risk of this experience is difficult to overstate (setting cold and hunger aside, the stove that constantly fills their tiny living space with smoke would be enough to send me walking home across the glaciers), but Ritter, whose prose manages to be both spartan and, at times, ecstatic, thrives on the challenge. So much is left unsaid in this book—like what, for example, is the deal with this marriage?—but that sense of mystery only adds to its appeal. A beautiful, timeless read. —Maggie Shipstead, contributor" - Meaghan Kenny

Nice, brightly lit, and kind staff. Despite the immense selection, the books carried are a popularity contest. I sought to purchase a book and support "local" rather than ordering online, a new book 1 year old covering artificial intelligence and philosophy. They said they could order it for me, but that wasn't what I wanted to do. Nice place, and you'll find something new but if you know what you want your better off ordering online.

I should really enjoy the selection of books but I also enjoy some of the other things that they have there like the games and the different sections that really just speak to individual people. I ended up getting a book while I was there even though I really wasn't thinking about doing it but when I got to looking through the different sections I realized that oh yeah this is something that would be good for me. I will definitely go back I enjoy the place and just in the atmosphere.update. awesome store. I love looking around and fonding new stuff

Zero stars if it was possible. The most rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful "customer service" employees I have encountered at any business. Not one but three staff members were rude "Merry Christmas". Asked to simply be pointed to a certain book section and got snapped at that they were busy and wouldn't be able to help me until later. Took more time being rude than just pointing a finger towards the section and sending me in the right direction. Found the book I wanted and decided to not buy it because of the service. Won't shop here again, Amazon got my order instead.

Let me start by saying we have been to several Barnes and Noble over the years. This one was nice, but the staff was not very active in speaking or asking if we needed help finding things. The store itself was just average.

They have a large selection of books and topics. However, you may better find specific subjects in their online store. I have found they have expanded their toy collection and reduced some of the books they carry. I do believe there is a good selection of what is currently popular. There's a decent journal and magazine section along with a Starbucks. I have mainly used their self-help and specific dietary needs books. My kids like survival skills, computer programming, and hobby books. We usually do not have any trouble finding something we would like.

Great place to get some work done, except for the limited number of outlets to charge any devices.

My girlfriend is very happy with what we found this trip. But then again she's happy anytime we visit a Barnes & Noble. The selection is nigh infinite, from a to z. I can always find a book or two or three. For me or to fill anyone with glee. All jokes aside it's a solid place to hangout and either fill your noggin with endless info or take a trip in fantasy. Fun for all ages can be found behind Barnes & Nobles doors.

I have always loved B&N until I discovered I can get the SAME books much cheaper at Books a million, online or even at Walmart.
