Excellent and efficient service - sumptuous spread of dinner buffet will surely help expand the waistline but worthwhile, especially with such attentive waitstaff.

Went for a dinner buffet at the service was exceptional. Food was also tasty and overall satisfied with everything.

We had our first ever high tea here. The food was delicious and the teas great. Would definitely recommend to do this when spending some time in Nuwara Eliya. We were served by Bahnuka. Who is a very friendly and welcoming host who makes you feel at ease.

It was quite a disappointment. Service was good and the atmosphere is fantastic. Beautiful place. But the afternoon tea sandwiches, pie and especially the scones was really really dry, sad and just not up to a decent standard. The most sad part was what they defined as scones. That was a joke to be honest. A small tiny dry…something…tasting like paper. Tea was great though.

Visited during the buffet lunch. For around 30usd per person, the food was overpriced and average. Desserts were nice. Service, while friendly, was also below average. Asked for a beer and ice water, which took 10mins to arrive despite the empty restaurant. Beer was warm, and a very very foamy pour by the staff.

The service is outstanding, friendly and informative. Raj the restaurant manager sets the tone of complete professionalism which resonates through every member of the team. The quality of the food was exceptional with a wide variety of options at the buffet. To top it off being housed the amazing Grand Hotel provides an ambiance of yesteryear.

We’d very highly recommend this place to have royal high tea. We got superb service by a very kind man by the name of Bhanuka.
