Welcoming atmosphere. The coffee we order was really good after a long day of wine tastings. There was great live music and out door seating. This place is centrally located, the perfect place to chill for a bit and people watch. I will be back!

I want to start by saying the lighting in here is amazing! I've been coming to Barnhouse since it first opened. Originally, it felt more like a coffee shop than a pub — I'm not exactly sure when the switch happened. Now, after 3 PM, it’s definitely more of a pub. I’m not sure what the mornings are like. The coffee isn’t exactly up to my standard, but that's understandable for a place that's shifted to being more of a pub. Internet access is also a bit limited — you have to get a separate code for each device, and each one only lasts an hour, which can get pretty frustrating. This isn’t the friendliest spot to get work done anymore, but again, it makes sense given the change in focus. Service overall is great, though it would be nice if the staff showed a little more excitement about seeing customers rather than just taking orders. That said, I really appreciate the staff member who took a couple of minutes to sit and listen to my story — that was a nice touch. Overall, this is still a great place — just different from what it was when it first opened.

I was stunned. *Who does that?* He didn’t know me, yet trusted me without hesitation. That level of goodwill is rare, and it speaks volumes about the kind of place Barn House Pub is. The atmosphere radiates warmth—like the bar from *Cheers*, where everyone feels like family. You don’t just come here for the amazing coffee and baked goods (though they’re worth the trip alone); you come for the sense of belonging. I’ll be a lifelong customer, and my coworkers are now fans too. If every business operated with this much heart and trust, the world would be a better place. **Do not miss out on this Napa treasure!**

This place has great couches for a relaxing coffee house atmosphere, but the music is always too loud. I am here today from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. One time, my phone rang, and I did not hear the person on the phone. At some point, I had to plug my ears because people were speaking too loudly on top of the loud music. I was hesitant to ask to put the volume down a bit... I got all my hopes up and walked to the desk to ask for it... They said "of course".. I was so happy... I sat down, and the noise level was never reduced for the next hour or more... Then I remembered I had the same problem last time I came here, and they told me they would reduce the noise, but they never did. I feel like this is a subtle request to make me leave the place.. Every time I come here, the same feeling... I think I won't come here again.. Too bad because I am a Napa local... I never feel welcome here but the atmosphere is welcoming... There is a behavioral difference..

Came in to meet some friends but in the short time I was here I really loved the place. Good vibes and really cool staff. They make a lot of different coffee drinks and it's cozy comfort but their dog made it great. Leaf is the mascot of the bar and best part is you can buy Merch with the pup on it too! Would love to come back and hangout here again!

I'm in love with the concept here. I love a place where you can get coffee all morning and all evening. This is the first place I've ever seen coffee flights. They have some next-level batistas; these are creative, cocktail bar quality, just with mixed coffee drinks. I'll remember all of these, but "cherry blossom" was heavenly and my front runner. They serve pastries and savory pies, too. The coffee cake was a little dry and unexciting. Service was great service, the place is spacious, and it had a good vibe/music. I came in the AM, but I imagine the vibe is different in the evening (they do serve alcoholic beverages all day, too). Definitely add this place to your itinerary while visiting Napa.

Atmosphere is calm but also just so weird. They can’t decide if it’s a living room barnhouse, a soccer pub, or a storage unit for AI pictures of their dog. Still, the best place in town for things to do!

Awesome little coffeeshop in downtown Napa tucked away with a cozy and beautifully designed barnhouse vibe. They serve both coffee and beers, so you can come by for trivia night and drinks w/ friends, or with some work to be done and grab one of their bottomless coffees. Staff is super friendly and easy to chat with. Quality of their drinks is excellent and the prices are reasonable and expected for the Napa area. Parking is all surface street, so it's limited and you may have to circle around a bit if you're not lucky enough to find a spot. Would definitely come here to catch up w/ friends, hang out, get some work done, or can also work as a get-to-know-you-date spot. Highly recommended, would return.

Coffee!! We were starting our day in Napa and I needed caffeine. I had read ahead that this was the place to go. It was hoppin' in there. I ordered at the counter, a latte for me, and a hot cocoa and homemade pop tart for my husband. First, homemade Pop tart! They had a variety of flavors and all looked delicious. He went with the raspberry. I did have a bite and it was, in fact, delicious. The folks behind the counter were working as fast as possible to fulfill all the orders. There was a consistent stream of people coming through while we were there. My latte was hot and tasty with all its caffeined goodness. My husband said his hot chocolate hit the spot. There is street parking. The space itself is an amalgamation of tastes and décor. They have evening activities when it is more of a brew spot. It would have been fun to visit in the evening too.

This place is just perfection. I honestly don't know why you would grab your morning coffee anywhere else. Nourish you'd soul while you freebase caffeine.

Still our choice for coffee and pop tarts when in Napa Valley. Always great and friendly service.

I've been in a few times now, but today was the first day I actually got to relax and enjoy the cozy seating area by the faux fireplace. I wish I had brought a book with me, but alas, here I am on my phone instead. I was greeted at entry and he was a chill start to the day. (I'm not a fan of the fake over the top energy baristas can pretend to have... so this was a welcome change of pace!) You didn't feel rushed. I had a latte with cinnamon and caramel (Earths Revival) that I really enjoyed. At some point I'd like to check out the coffee flights that they do. I didn't venture into the "Shack in the back" (a semi back room), as a large group was in it, but it looks like they have darts and a couple arcade games as well. (Which obviously means I need to come in for a mimosa/michelada or soju cocktail at some point as well.)

Absolutely dig this place. Comfortable and cozy yet has elegance. Came here on a relaxing sunday, and would highly recommend the Coffee Flight...did not see it in the menu but asked the very helpful and engaging staff. The coffee flight menu changes but you can sub any with their monthly specials. Seating outside as well. They do have decaf expresso and some sugar free syrups as well. What would enhance the place is to add more allergy sensitive treats.

This place was great! Such a great vibe with games inside and so much seating. It's very cozy and the best part of you can go for beer or coffee! I got the coffee flight and it was a cool concept but don't recommend getting it iced. Due to the size of the cups it just can't be iced enough unless they change the glasses so they can actually add ice. They don't add ice so it's like a weird room temperature. I would get the hot versions and to me the flavors we chose were way too similar but I'm allergic to hazelnut so that cut out of a lot of options. Still cool though!

Two words: COFFEE FLIGHT Three words: DELICIOUS COFFEE FLIGHT More words: Cute cafe with friendly staff and really really good coffee - oh and plenty of places to sit and read my book while sipping on the already mentioned coffee flight. Life is good at Barnhouse.

Really wanted to give them 5 stars but they didn't have the meat pies available at the time. I enjoyed the coffee and the fun vibe. Wish I could have tried one of the coffee flights...next time! And was a little bummed the shirt I wanted to get was not available in my size....it is what it is but again, it's about the coffee and I enjoyed it.

What a very down-to-earth and welcoming cafe shop. Front Customer Service was friendly and super accommodating; checking on us etc. Very dog-friendly environment is a plus especially when dogs are so darn cute & behaved. I love the cozy " fireplace". Looks like karaoke will be happening soon so I'll be there for that! Should be fun! Great Coffee was tasty and very well prepared by the barista! Also enjoyed Bailey's savory pastries !

We are regulars, almost daily, thanks to the excellent service and amazing coffee. The owner is very involved and most of the staff has been there for years. Carlos makes the best dry cappuccino and the oat milk Cortado can't be beat!

I'm upgrading to five stars. We just did a group sip and paint class with Carlos. He was a great teacher. Low stress. Explained every step clearly. Very supportive. Everyone's painting turned out great. All in all a fantastic night!

This place is the absolute best. Everyone is so welcoming. Their drinks are amazing and the ambiance is next level. I stopped in on New Year's Day and it was the perfect way to relax and enjoy the day. It's really easy to tell how good a place is by the people that frequent it and the patrons at Barnhouse were so lovely. They also have this amazing house dog. The place is also dog friendly which was a major plus for my golden retriever who should a pup cup. Thanks again Barnhouse!

This place leaves nothing to desire. It's black owned. Has well balanced wines. A $25 tasting. It's central and has great vibes

English pie was awesome for a late breakfast/pre-lunch snack Skip starbucks every time and come here instead!

I came here because I'm a huge fan of Tamera (sister sister show). We parked around the corner. The place was gorgeous as soon as you walk in. The decor is top tear. When you walk in there's some tables and a huge couch with a tv. The bar is right in front so you can just walk up and order. There's another room towards the back. I ordered right away. The man who helped me acknowledge me as soon as I walked in. I ordered a white chocolate caramel mocha. The coffee was good and sweet. I will definitely be back here but for wine.

Loved everything about this place, so much character, clean, modern, inviting, comfy furniture, cute indoor and outdoor seating, shuffleboard in the back room. Yup I'm already loving it from the moment I step inside. Plenty of BottleRock specials on the menu as well as hits playing in the background of performers from this year's BottleRock music festival which was happening this weekend. Yummy pastries in the display case as well as English pies available to order. On top of that they sell coffee flights here, and one really smooth and delicious iced mocha, which I enjoyed with their sausage roll. The savory pie was so tasty and satisfying, served hot with a soft and flaky crust. The wait was a bit long for the English pies though. Still, service was good, the food and drinks were unique and amazing, and free parking was easy to find right in front across the street on a Sunday morning. Great experience overall.

Their speciality coffee was unique and delicious. I got something from their seasonal menu, and I asked for it to be less sweet and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. The coffee tasted good, and the only thing I regret is not buying some of their coffee beans.

Cold brew excellent great place to chill after a day in the Napa valley. You can play darts or sit back and chill.

First visit to Barnhouse Napa Brews was a great experience. Came in to check out the beer options but was intrigued by their Irish Coffee option since it was a cold day. My college friend and I have done Irish Coffee crawls in SF so we have a good idea what to expect. We were impressed by the Barnhouse team, thy make really great artisan Irish Coffee with everything freshly made to order. High Quality Coffee was freshly made as this is also a full on coffee shop , good amount of alcohol, and the heavy cream was whisked on the spot. Cool spot to visit in Downtown Napa with friends and family.

Loved this place. Went for a walk down town Napa and wanted to try this place. Good coffee and exceptional customer service. The young man was very energetic, professional an overall pleasant ambiance was inviting with a little area to relax and plug into your electronics or chill with friends/family. They also have an area with an air hockey table and tv. Cool posters on the walls. They had snacks too and homemade cookies for the super bowl game (Go Chiefs). I had to skip out on snacks because we had just had dinner but wanted something warm for the walk around town. Overall, was a pleasant visit.

Every time I go to Shine Salon next door, I always have to stop into Barnhouse! They offer great coffee and pastries and the biggest standout is their amazing customer service and their awesome decor inside. The baristas are always so friendly and warm and the interior is very cozy. Their homemade toaster pastries are some of the best I have ever had!

I have been coming here at least a few times a month for 6 mos at least. The service has been good overall, the coffee is one of my faves ever. They have darts, shuffleboard, TVs, & community activities each week like paint nights, bingo. The interior design is cozy/chic. Not the biggest place, I wish it was a bit bigger as it can get crowded at mid morning. They have monthly special drinks and an extensive menu in a binder at the register. They have a ton of syrup flavors. They have coffee flights, alcohol options, fresh baked goods, and I think everything served here is local. They have a punch card rewards system to redeem a free espresso drink! They are very active on Instagram with updates about their activities and offerings. This place is a gem IMO. I love getting their iced lavender latte with oat milk. Would recommend!

On a Saturday before 7am, I needed coffee. Unfortunately, Barnhouse opened on time and so I waited. It was worth it. I wandered and then returned. It was worth the wait and I'm glad I opted not to get that overroasted swill from the green siren people. #LocalCoffee, people. #LocalCoffee! Barnhouse was clean and comfortable. With my coffee, I spent well over two hours writing Yelp reviews, arguing on Facebook, and watching the coming and going of the morning coffee addicts. A safe, healthy getaway full of very likable people who are there with you and for you, and, believe it or not, you're there with them too. There is space... ...to vent out your emotions journaling. ...to learn to express your ineffable words through the art of painting. ...to forget about your problems screaming out an Alanis Morissette song on Karaoke night. ...to have a bottomless conversation with any "stranger" (I'm not much of a talker myself, but I sense this kind of energy in here, and I see it all the time). They all have one thing in common: self love. Barnhouse is more of an experience, and it all happens organically. Friendship at first sight. You are their Homie. They are your Homies.

Is it a Coffee Shop or Pub? Actually, it's both! Very cool little place just a few blocks off Main Street. Our group of 4 had some time to kill before check-in and decided to stop here to watch the Euro Soccer game. The staff was great and helped us select the perfect beer to watch the game and even let us sample some mead, which is interesting. Next visit we may do a mead flight out of curiosity. MIL had a glass of red wine and said it was decent. The atmosphere is really cool as it's basically divided into two sections, coffee house in front with comfy chairs and couches, pub in the back with high top tables, stools, big screen tv, shuffle board and darts. Wasn't very busy as it was noon on a Tuesday, put had a good time watching the game with fellow soccer fans. Next time I'd like to try the coffee flights which looked very good.

My wife and I love coming here. The beer is good. The coffee is good. The Michelada flight is awesome and the atmosphere is what we were looking for.

Always a pleasure. Some of the best coffee and friendliest service in Napa. We can only visit when we're in town visiting family, but we're here every morning and sometimes visit twice in a day. It feels so warm and welcoming when you walk in.

We saw the reviews of the coffee flights and had to stop by to try it ourselves! It was pricey ($21), but a nice experience. It's clean with plenty of tables and chairs. It's a comfy place to lounge around and relax with a drink. There's also a fireplace and a few TVs. We liked that they also provided card games and board games to play. Moreover, they host several events throughout the week (karaoke, bingo, etc). I wouldn't order a flight again because of the price, but I might go back to order a single drink. My favorite out of the 4 we tried was the Enter Sandman. My boyfriend's favorite was the Naughty Elf.

Don't drink alcohol? Join in on the tasting fun with a coffee flight! My sister does not drink so after when did a tasting for me, she was looking for something for her. She found this tasting experience and lit up like a kid in a candy shop! Probably like I do when I go to a tasting! haha. The coffee was delicious! So smooth and had a great flavor. My favorite flavor was the toasted marshmallow coffee. Wasn't too sweet and had a fun campfire taste to it. I also was very surprised that I liked the Peppermint mocha flavor! Also, do not skip out on the cheese stuffed pretzel balls! The jalapeno cream cheese stuffed pretzel ball lives in my dreams. It was slightly warmed and ooo! So good!

What a unique experience for any coffee lover! I came to Barnhouse after reading about their coffee flight and it did not disappoint. There is a whole book of flavors to choose from, or you can pick the recommended flight they have that time. The team members working were so kind and patient. I was conflicted between flavors and they were helpful and made recommendations to me. I will say as these are lattes, the "shots" are super indulgent between the milk and syrups, so I would recommend sharing with a friend. Out of the 4 pictures, the pancake social was probably my favorite- notes of maple really shined and made it quite delicious. Shoot the Root was probably my least favorite, but it wasn't bad, but quite surprising as it mimicked the flavor of root beer! There are couches and some seating inside, perfect especially if you wanted to read or get some work done. We sat outside at sidewalk tables.

Definitely a cool spot to hang and socialize! New Downtown Napa spot brew/coffee bar with darts, shuffleboard, and comfy chairs. Modern yet cabin feel. Few doors down, they have a wine room. Both places are owned by Tamera Mowry & her husband's family :)! Their fun thing is the Coffee or Latte flight--4 decently-sized shooters of different flavors that can be hot or cold, any milk. Really got me caffeinated for the next hour for the last stretch of work. Flavors are interesting with cute flavors--is a little pricey at $15. Definitely enjoyable with friends for a fun social thing, but wouldn't go out of my way for them after trying once. Will now just stick to their good cafe staples (hot mocha with soymilk)--they have good baristas for the works! There's also a mead flight as well if alcohol is your vibe for the experience. Also, jalapeno cream cheese pretzel bites ($1.50ea) were a good savory snack. Usual array of cafe baked goods that look homemade for your sweet tooth. Friendly staff and would come again for a trendy place to chill. Some people do work on laptops in the back, but has more of a social atmosphere. Heard they also do Bingo night!

Stopped by for the first time this Saturday and the moment I walked in the staff was very welcoming. I ordered a sugar free vanilla late and a coffee cake. Both were so delicious! I wish I lived closer to go every week. Great spot and great coffee!

Nice people and great coffee. Great place to just sit and relax. We went there all summer. Great place to stop before my wife and I go to dinner. The Grandkids love the video games!

cute, homie feeling at this coffee / brewery spot! as you can tell, we had to go twice during our one night stay in Napa! my bf surprised me by planning a trip here so that i could try their coffee flight for the first time. i really love how friendly the staff was, they were super welcoming and quick with getting our orders to us. the coffee flight; honestly something i've never experienced before and would definitely do again. the entire order itself , including it being chilled and with oat milk, was almost $20 which i personally see deemed as reasonable. i really like the experience of testing out which drinks i wanted to then later get a bigger cup of! they were all on the sweeter side even for someone with a sweet tooth but i really enjoyed every single one of them. we had to make a trip there before we headed back home and we ordered what we enjoyed from the coffee flight! i would definitely come again whenever i'm back in the area. it's going to be our go to coffee spot in Napa !

Great little place to grab DELICIOUS coffee or hang out to play shuffle board or throw darts for a bit... both of which we did. Had fun here after having late lunch a couple blocks away. The staff here were super nice, helpful, and patient when I could decide what I wanted. They have beer, wine, coffee beverages, as well as pastries. We tried the jalapeño & cream cheese puff-- sooo good, a must try!!

It's such a cute place to hang out, very modern, very cozy and great for photos . First time going here, the staff was friendly and helpful. I like the fact that they also offer beer (all in one place) and you have tons of options. I ordered the iced Hazy dayz and it was pretty good. It's in a great location downtown Napa and it was busy when I stopped by. There is plenty of parking either street or parking lot in front of the location.

This is an amazing coffee shop I have been her many times and never been disappointed. I just explain exactly what I want and the fix it was excellent. The staff is always very pleasant and helpful to explain if you have questions. If not sure if you will like a drink they will allow you to have sample. Today I order the MEXICAN COWBOY which included Mexican chili, SARSAPARILLA and Smoked Sea Salt. The coffee was smooth not bitter and had enough spice to taste. I totally recommend this place. My friends and I sat outside and relaxed for three hours. This coffee shop has inside and outside seating.

We stopped by for a quick coffee break and lunch today with two kids and had a great experience. The vibe was super laid back and friendly, the service was great, and the food/drinks were delicious! I had a pancake social latte, which was delicious and the food they had was sausage rolls and cheese pies - both of which were eaten very quickly by our table. There was also a friendly dog that belonged to the Barnhouse that my two year old loved. We will definitely be back!

Barnhouse Napa Brews is truly a gem in downtown napa! This coffee shop has a vibe that is welcoming and laid back which you can feel the community building aspect that's apart of the shop. They have events often for people to join in on. Every time I've been there the staff has been kind and down to earth which is just the Cherry on top with amazing drinks and snacks! Each pastry I had was not only good but filling! There are many options available! The drinks are stellar and my favorite is personally is the chai tea latte!

This place is so cute!! There are a few couches set up for seating as well as a couple of high tables in the back. There is shuffleboard, some other games, and darts. I came here because they have beer on tap AND have many coffee options. My friend got a beer and I got the coffee flight, which was a taster of each special latte on the menu. They were all delicious and you could really taste the difference! I will definitely be back for a games night.
