I don't know why anyone would stay anywhere else in Fredericksburg!!! Our group of 42 took all but 4 of the cabins on property, so that we could all be together, but still have a retreat away from everyone when needed. I booked this property, sight unseen, and was more than pleasantly surprised!! The owners Deborah and her husband were extremely helpful with any questions and/or concerns and were accessible the entire weekend!! Along with the cabins/houses being great, everyone loved them, the Club (bar & grill) onsite was such an added bonus!! We had a private welcome dinner on Thursday night, which they put together for us! I told them how many and they took care of the rest. Anna, gave me dinner options, and we went with fajitas. They were also able to make 2 cakes...pumpkin cheescake and a chocolate sheet cake. Everything was soooo delicious!!!! The property is gorgeous and well maintained, we also really enjoyed walking the property and seeing all the wildlife around. Don't look for anywhere else to stay, book now!! You will NOT regret staying here!! Loved every minute!!

Google
The best lodging in Fredericksburg, TX! If you’re looking for a hotel / AirBnb / bed and breakfast in Fredericksburg, definitely book Barons CreekSide. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and dog-friendly with tons of accommodations. The amenities and walking trails were amazing. And I can’t say enough great things about the host. I left a few of my baby’s items behind, and they were honest and efficient when returning the items. I won’t stay anywhere else in the Texas Hill Country! I even saw a Great Horned Owl!

This is shabby chic Texas via Zurich/Lake Lucerne Switzerland. We have enjoyed our 2 days in a truly unique accommodation. There are numerous individual cabins and even a Conestoga wagon to choose from. Our cabin is a collection of Texas and Swiss antiques, yet extremely comfortable from a full living room, kitchen, bedroom with a great bed and large jacuzzi. Despite the shabby every detail is clean, often functional and amusing. After an initial shock we have enjoyed our stay.

Google
I rented the cabin for my husband’s birthday and wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be the perfect choice. We even joked about never wanting to stay in a hotel again. The cabin was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was a great size. We especially loved having privacy without neighbors too close. We also enjoyed visiting The Club, where a gentleman sang classic Motown hits—such a nice touch—and the staff there were very friendly. The location of the cabin was also super convenient, close to everything we wanted to do.

Google
We found Barons Creek Side last year around this same time and we booked the Farmhouse. We loved the little house and all the farmy feels that it had to it. We come to Fredericksburg at least once a year and since we have found Barons, there is no other place that we would rather stay! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and this time we got to meet the owners, who have just done a fantastic job with this romantic getaway!

Lori K.

Google
Perfect location! We had a group of 42 for a double birthday party and stayed 3 nights in multiple cabins. Super close to downtown. Restaurant/bar/live music on site. We loved everything about it. My group of 5 stayed in the Sunrise/Sunset.

Rachel J.

Google
It’s the most relaxing ,cozy cabins. We have gone 2 times now. Highly recommend it! Yes, it cost above average. But you want to actually spend time there. Unlike a hotel room. The BEDS ARE SO COMFORTABLE!! The linens are crisp! We loved the club! The food was outstanding !!!

Yelp
Just spent the weekend of June 27th at Barons CreekSide and... wow. What an absolute gem! From the moment we pulled in, we were blown away by how beautifully kept and manicured the entire property was. The cabin we stayed in was incredibly spacious, spotless, and felt like a cozy five-star hotel room--with a whole lot more charm and character. The onsite restaurant, The Club, was such a pleasant surprise! Delicious home-cooked meals, a solid beer and wine list (Texas wines included!), and local artists performing live each night made it the perfect evening hangout without ever needing to leave the property. The peaceful creek winding through the grounds, paired with the vineyard and multiple lookout spots, created a picture-perfect backdrop for morning coffee or evening strolls. It's incredibly quiet and serene--felt like a true escape--but still only minutes away from all the fun in downtown Fredericksburg. Already planning our next trip back. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and memorable getaway!

Yelp
This is a GEM! We visit Baron's Creekside at least once a year and sometimes more. The history of this place, the owner(s) and their cabins are intriguing. The resort grounds are beautiful, peaceful, private, relaxing and just a few blocks from downtown Fredericksburg. If you don't want to leave the resort, you can take a nice stroll up the hill to their Bistro for live music, cocktails and a delicious menu. Everyone I've spoken with at the resort has been friendly and personable, but Daniel has always been especially accommodating with any special requests. You might find that one cabin that is your favorite, but I suggest trying a different one each time. Each one has it's own charm and interesting story.

Yelp
We came to Barons with a group and to be honest, it probably wouldn't have been a place I would have gravitated to for accommodation and WOW. Was I surprised. Our cabin was wonderful, the grounds were magical and we were even adopted by a cat. The location isn't really within walking distance to anything but it is a short drive to wherever you want to be. Loved it!

Julie N.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing! We stayed for three nights and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The Mesquite farmhouse was absolutely beautiful and we were so happy staying there. The deer visited us daily and we fed them so they were there every morning and afternoon. We ate at The Club two nights in a row and couldn't have had a nicer experience. The bands on both nights were great. The wait staff were so nice, and the food was delicious. Simon made the experience so wonderful. He was a great host and was so personable. The owners, Daniel and Deborah were extremely nice and made our stay amazing. What gracious hosts. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will definitely be back! We recommend Barons CreekSide to anyone traveling to Fredericksburg or this area of Texas. You will not be disappointed. Tomas and Julie Negrete Dallas, TX

Yelp
Six days after my visit w/o any relief in the coughing due to not being able to get enough air in my lungs, I visited my PCP. They do not test for the presence of mold however it was clear to them I am having bronchial spasms. I was prescribed an oral steroid and a 4X daily use of albuterol and return in one week. This is NOT an allergy as you seem to think. I would invite you and your wife to stay in that house and sleep there for one week and come back to me and let me know how that experience was for you two. As for me? Never again. The other person who stayed with me is also still coughing. Please stop dismissing this as something not real.

Marilyn W.

Yelp
What a wonderful place to stay! So grateful to a friend's recommendations! Any question or concern we had was promptly handled, the accommodations couldn't have been nicer better, and enjoying nature with the deer, ducks and creek running thru the property were amazing! Can't wait to go back! Baron's Creekside was best lodging choice we ever made!

Yelp
Everything went well here. The accommodations are superb. I rented three of the units as we had a little family reunion here. Everyone loved their cabins. The owners are super nice. We brought our two dogs and there is plenty of space to take them on walks. The units are super clean and beautiful. You can go to The Club for dinner and music on the weekends, and the food, music, and wine is very nice. This is my second time staying here. I will definitely be back. I have travelled extensively all over this planet and I think this is one of the most enjoyable places I have ever stayed. You feel like you have your own little Swiss chalet. And the wineries are nearby. You can even walk to one next door! I cannot think of anything that went wrong during our stay or anything that could be improved. This place runs like a fine Swiss watch!
google avatar

Cindy D.

Yelp
My husband and I found this gem of a place last year. The accommodations are so charming and rustic. You feel like you are stepping into Switzerland. The lodging is so thoughtful, comfortable and the two cabins we stayed in have a Creekside view. I woke up this morning enjoyed a cup of coffee outside and enjoyed the ducks on the pond. They have everything you need in the cabin including an extra fan for white noise. I have some photos but they don't do the place justice. It's ten times more precious and inviting. This will be our go to place every time we come to Fredericksburg. We will be back and bring all our friends.

Yelp
A taste of Europe right in Hill Country TX!! We love to travel and wanted something different for our 30th wedding anniversary that was close to home and would accept our dog. This is like nothing we've ever seen in Fredricksburg!!! The property was as if we were in a small European village with rolling creeks, bridges, large trees, art, fire pits, watch towers, covered wagons, separate cabins, swings, chairs, views, ducks... did i say charming and all lit up!!? Our cabin was magnificently perfect! The decor represented Swiss heritage with every little item in there purposeful rich in heritage and design. Real firewood with a sunk in tub and a porch to enjoy the views. Everything you need to stay in with local coffee and pots and pans, dishes etc. We did not want to leave! Daniel and Deborah have done a fine job making their 26 acreage a romantic escape! Simon also made our stay wonderful! This Swiss family exudes culture and joy! We are grateful they brought it to Texas Hill Country!! The pricing is so favorable too! It's a must! 10 out of 10! We will be back.

Yelp
we enjoyed our nights four days visit! we were celebrating our 38th anniversary as well as join in a wedding. The cabin was close to everything and yet felt far away! our cabin worked well for us since I get up early and my husband likes to sleep in. RhineFalls was our cabin. Simon was great as well as a hug from the Owner himself!

Yelp
The Good: :: it's a local business! :: very cute, quaint, charming property and grounds. you cannot get enough of the ducks, fishies in the pond, property cats, etc. bring bread that you can use to feed the ducks and fishies! :: lots of options, whether you are looking for an intimate 2-person cabin or a larger place to accommodate larger groups :: the property is very well-kept :: did I mention how charming the property grounds are??? :: close to the main action in Fredericksburg, where you can check out all kinds of restaurants, shops, wineries, etc :: very quiet--you won't have a problem getting sleep out here The Bad: :: none The Ugly: :: none Would I go back? Absolutely yes--one of the most charming, cozy places you'll find in the TX hill country. Love how it makes you feel like you're not in TX anymore. This place is IN.

Yelp
Thanksgiving meal was great! Traditional roasted Turkey, mashed potato and gravy, dressing, amazing cranberries, green beans. Beer and wine choices are nice as well. Linde man's Peche beer was new to me, which I enjoyed.

Ed F.

Yelp
very quiet and beautiful place to stay. They have an excellent Club with great entertainment
google avatar

Jobie G.

Yelp
felt transported to a cozy cabin hundreds of miles from civilization. It was tranquil and cozy and everything you picture in a Hallmark movie, without the cheesy ending. However, just a short drive and you are downtown in the hustle and bustle. We found ourselves getting takeout and returning to the cabin for some quiet. Their restaurant/bar offers a mix of wines, which was nice when you dont feel like going off property for a wine tasting. I recommend highly for a couples retreat. Bonus some cabins allow dogs and we were able to bring our new puppy to explore. The floor in our cabin was stained cement, so puppy accidents were easy to clean (C.C. approves).

Karla K.

Yelp
Lovely spot very close in to Fredericksburg but quiet and country feeling. We staying in a little Swiss cabin (Zermatt) and it was sehr gemutlich. Great things were the wood fire that you could set and light yourself, a really great shower, great coffee and coffee set up, and a very comfy space. Lovely setting and Christmas lights, and Daniel was a gracious and thoughtful host. Friendly cats came to say hi too. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Note: couples only as the large bathtub/ shower is in the room (so keep that in mind! ) There's also a restaurant/club and they had some nice wine (rosé was lovely) so give it a try after a hike up enchanted rock!

Melissa L.

Yelp
Beautiful, peaceful, romantic getaway. We will definitely return. We stayed in the Morgarten cabin for the weekend. It was cozy, quiet and beautifully decorated. One night we enjoyed a nice fire in the fireplace. We were able to enjoy two evenings at The Club. Wine was amazing. Poppers and pumpkin cheesecake were great. We enjoyed listening the live blues band by the fire. Owner, Daniel is an amazing host and his staff is very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return.

Brian W.

Yelp
A beautiful location. An good food and wine. Our hosts were delightful. Sundown overlooking the Texas hills.

Yelp
We rented a cabin for 4 days/3 nights. This place is amazing. The history behind its origination is beautiful. We enjoyed it so much that we are looking to come back with our adult kids for a family getaway. We highly recommend it.

Aiden C.

Yelp
I cannot say enough about this place! It is A+++. The owner's are on sight and so accommodating. The cabins are quaint, warm, charming and most of all VERY clean!!! The bed was super comfy and they provide everything you may want or need for your stay. We will definitely come back to stay next time we are in Fredericksburg.

Amy G.

Yelp
This property is a fairytale and we couldn't have chosen a more beautiful location for our private wedding. The owners were very attentive and accommodating; we were given free reign to choose any spot on the property for our ceremony and we chose "the lookout."It was perfect We plan to celebrate our anniversaries at Barons Creekside and can't wait to return
google avatar

Christina L.

Yelp
We recently stayed at Barons Creekside, celebrating our anniversary. We chose the Grindelwald Swiss cabin and it was perfect! Rustic charm meets modern comfort. The details were outstanding. To add to the magical quality of Barons Creekside, we saw the mama and baby dear who live on the property. We also met the owner, Daniel, who is a wonderful host. Sadly, we didn't get to hear him play the Alp horn because the Club was closed on the days we stayed. We highly recommend for a relaxing and unique getaway.
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
I loved this rustic and charming little cabin. I have issues with walking and have to use a trekking pole and needed it to walk on the flagstone pathway to the entrance of our cabin. Once rounding the corner and stepping up on the porch I was able to turn and take in the creek and the entire view. It made me happy. The inside was so charming. My only pause would be if we were staying for a longer period of time, I would need a walk in shower. Thank you for a lovely stay. It was our 43rd Anniversary.
google avatar

Yelp
What super cute places. I luv it here first time and will definitely be back. So peaceful and quite nice views and being in the country. The cabins are so cute and cozy.little farm houses. They allow pets as well. And they have hot tubs in back yard. Very great place to stay and the cost is really good as well.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
This resort is the PERFECT getaway, especially during the Coronavirus pandemic. The cabins are secluded enough from each other that we rarely even saw anyone else. Check in/Check out was so easy. We stayed in the Mesquite Farmhouse. It was so quaint and expertly appointed. We had every amenity we could possibly need. As a bonus, a family of deer must live nearby as they were often prancing around the back yard throughout our stay. It's close to downtown Fredericksburg, it's a stone's throw from the main highway, 290 and close enough to the wineries, Luckenbach, and Enchanted Rock State Park. The only thing we will do differently next time is bring several of our friends to enjoy it with us.

Frank C.

Yelp
Second trip to Barons CreekSide, as expected, cabin was ready, clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the log walls make it a quiet night. Views of the creek from the porch made for a peaceful evening, and a restful night. Bluebonnets and paintbrush flowers were growing everywhere you looked. We'll be back!

Yelp
We are both employees for a major airline (Pilot and Flight Attendant) and have had the opportunity to travel the world over and spend most of our lives staying in some really nice places but from minute one we were both taken aback at the beauty and attention to detail that Daniel and Deborah have given this place. Staying at Barons Creekside was a last minute decision to escape from our airport life and find some peace and quiet. We found that and more during our 5 day stay. From the minute we arrived, the simplicity of the check-in process ( Just pick your keys up from the mailbox at The Club ), to having precut firewood available right by the cabin impressed us. The combination of amazing log cabins, outdoor fire pits and charcoal BBQ's, all nestled together on gently rolling terrain with a subtle but much appreciated hint of privacy, showed us we had selected the perfect getaway. The ability to just enjoy a quiet evening on the patio or join in the fun at The Club located on the property was the icing on the cake. Also, the proximity to downtown Fredericksburg, as well as over 70 Vineyards, Peach Harvesting, and Horseback Riding put the stay over the top. We had an amazing vineyard tour of Kuhlman's Winery one day and a relaxing 2 hour trail ride at the Blue Moon Ranch the next evening. Highly recommend both of these adventures. We even worked in a quick afternoon trip to Luckenbach TX (home of Texas Country Music). Evenings brought some amazing live music at The Club as well as some excellent wines right from the vineyard located on the property. Lastly, the amazing staff that Daniel and Deborah have put together shows what incredible people they are!! Their staff never missed a beat. Believe us when we say, this is a hidden gem in the Texas Hill Country you will want to come back to again and again. We will !!!!

Jordan K.

Yelp
I want to thank Daniel, Deborah and Simon for their incredible work on maintaining a true "getaway" from the fast pace of life. Barons CreekSide was inspired by Daniel's roots in Switzerland. He has traveled to over 200 countries and found that Fredericksburg, TX was an excellent spot to buy a plot of land and create this safe haven. Conveniently located a few minutes from downtown, it's right off the reservation to where you can enjoy nature and more importantly the amazing cabins he and his team created. I would give this experience 5 stars because he always checked in to make sure that we were having a great experience through text message, and there were no issues with getting settled into our comfy cabin. When we find ourselves in this part of the world, we will be staying at this quaint place.
google avatar

Tammy V.

Yelp
The Log Cabins are so unique and special. The location is perfect if you want quite and laid back atmosphere. Close enough to dowtown area makes this the perfect spot. We will be back.

Scott A.

Yelp
This place is the most awesome well kept in unique places that we are stayed !! The owners are amazing and right there too assist you with anything you might need. The restaurant is amazing with great food and live music. If you have not stayed here you need to.
google avatar

Betty V.

Yelp
We hosted a 50th Anniversary weekend at this property and it was great! The Big Lodge was our home base and we hosted dinner there 2 nights! It is a very roomy house with multiple living areas! Daniel and Simon were easy to work with and very accommodating! The ceiling fan in the main living area did not work when we arrived and Simon repaired it very quickly! We had guests staying in 4 of the cabins and they loved them! Tub/shower combinations in the cabins could be a problem for older people! Check out the specific cabin for info! Grounds are dotted with painted cows....very cute! The building of this "community" was amazing! There is a book in each cabin/house that explains the process! We had a perfect stay at Barons Creekside!
google avatar

Melody R.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. We went there for the first time for our 1 year anniversary and fell in love with the place. It doesn't look like it would be what it is, but it truly is a romantic getaway. We stayed in the Swiss Cabins. We had a jacuzzi and a shower in one. Outside our cabin is a creek that is lit up at night and during the day there are chairs beside the creek with a family of 5 ducks to feed and keep you company. Definitely a diamond in the ruft. We will be back!!!
google avatar

Yelp
My normal motto while traveling is to always try different places to uniquely experience each holiday/outing. Needless to say, this is the third consecutive time I have traveled to the Hill Country and stayed at Barons CreekSide. I will always pick a new cabin to experience, however Barons is a "regular" visit for me now. The cabins are so unique and tastefully decorated. We have chosen to forego lines and waits for dinners at restaurants and gotten take out to truly experience the relaxation of the cabin and fantastic porch views. The location is perfect; a feel of being isolated, yet so close to downtown Fredericksburg and winery's. I'm already planning my next visit Fall of 2022.
google avatar

Gina M.

Yelp
If you're going to the Texas Wine Country, this is the place to stay! The cottages are so comfortable and clean. They have everything in them you could possibly need! They have a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, hot plate, dishes, cork screw, wine glasses, and more. The grounds are beautiful and we loved the very friendly ducks. You can tell the owner put a ton of love into this place. It's super close to many wineries and Main Street, but when you're there you feel like you are out on a country ranch. The restaurant is great and was busy with live music on a Saturday night. The restaurant is situated away from the cottages, so you still get a quite get away even if the restaurant is full. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
google avatar

Kimberly M.

Yelp
We spent a wonderful anniversary weekend at Barons Creekside in the Victorian cabin. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The ambiance of Barons is peaceful, private and indulgent. The 'Club' at Barons is a two-minute walk from the cabin and is very convenient for sitting with a glass of wine and watching the sunset. The drive to Main Street takes no more than five minutes. Daniel, the host, is very gracious and attentive. We will definitely return for another visit.
google avatar

Dan M.

Yelp
Barons Creekside totally knocked it out of the park for my sons wedding this weekend. We have stayed here many times and its always wonderful. This time we were having a small wedding and Barons Creekside was ready and so accommodating for our family and friends. Daniel, Debra, and Simon were simply the best. The whole staff at Barons are superb. They helped us with dinner after our planned dinner in town was a bust. Barons scrambled and within minutes and called me and said we have your table ready and come to The Club. Disaster averted and we had a special dinner, wine, and music to start our weekend together. The wedding went beautifully the next day and again Barons staff helped us eminsly and with class. This place has many great memories for us but now its a forever memory of a special weekend with the wedding. Thanks Barons for 100% success. Dan & Kelley

Yelp
Loved our stay while visiting Fredericksburg. Clean, quiet, and such a beautiful landscape.

Yelp
The Interlaken cabin was quiet and peaceful. Very clean and very spacious with a charming front porch and CreekSide views. The interior was warm and inviting and filled with a variety of Swiss chalet decor. The mattress was soft with quality sheets and bedding. I come to Fredricksburg often but this was a first stay here. Sorry I didn't know of it sooner! already planning a return trip and will be staying here!

Juanita G.

Yelp
Best place to stay!!!! Very romantic, and calm... the wagon is a wonderful adventure!!! Very very clean and I am very picky with that!!! The cabin was amazing! Fireplace, Jacuzzi... Everything was beyond perfection! Finally, Deborah is a wonderful person always looking to give the best vacations ever! Very thankful and for sure I will come back!

Phil P.

Yelp
Outstanding! I have traveled all over the world. This is one of my favorite places to stay! The property is amazing and the cabins are impeccable! The club was so much fun to listen to live music and the owner is a great person who u might run into at the club. Can't wait to return!!

Yelp
Bliss! We first came here the Fall of 2013 and have visited twice since then. We fell in love with our little cabin-the Grindelwald. It was perfect for our small but growing family. Our pups enjoyed it too! The grounds were perfect and it was incredibly quiet considering how close we were to Main Street. Our daughter has enjoyed the tree climbing and duck feedings. She looks forward to the s'mores and "real fires"! The stone fireplace is quaint and the rockers on the porch are perfect for reading and relaxing. We always wondered what our "family tradition" would be. All signs point to Baron's Creekside. Daniel and Deborah (owners) have made us feel like family. We adore them. We cannot wait to come back next year. Note: there's a bistro on the grounds. Live music, intimate setting and hella good wine. :) If you want some good food, a relaxing atmosphere and to enjoy the walk back to your cabin, this is the place. ;)

Yelp
beautiful property. so relaxing, comfortable and peaceful. had my 50th birthday girls weekend there and we also enjoyed their on property restaurant one evening as well. checked in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. so close to downtown Fredricksburg. Will definitely be staying here for all my future Fredricksburg trips.

Yelp
Wow! This was an amazing little treasure nestled away in its own little paradise. It seems like your so far away in another world but actually very close to downtown. The sounds and sights were tranquil and pristine. This place was immaculate. I did not see one piece of trash. The attention to detail and artistry of the cabin was so cool! I can't wait to go back! I didn't want to leave but I will be back! I can't say enough good things about the beautiful scenery, birds, people and decor. Everyone was friendly and professional.

Mark D.

Yelp
Excellent accommodations, great ambiance, and great hosts! Additionally, the Club w/ food and music makes it even better :)

Margaret M.

Yelp
Cute cabin but not a restful stay for us. Couldn't sleep well due to windows not having curtains, lights from outside coming in. Large tub was older jetted style and not easy to get in and out of. Padlock on outside of cabin door. Old fashioned flimsy closure inside. Mentioned this as a security concern to Daniel the owner. This was after they'd sent me a customer feedback survey. He says they'd never had any concerns before and maybe we aren't the type of people who enjoy a natural setting with a bubbling creek. The creek is man made, we had no issues with that. Don't recommend staying here.

Yelp
Valentine's Day 2019!! OMG!!! What can I say about this magical place! I wanted to surprise my wife for Valentine's Day and found this little gem nestled in the Hill Country. This place is owned by Daniel & Deborah Meyer. We stayed in the Swiss Log Cabin Zermatt and I wanted to spoil my wife with a dozen red roses, a bottle of champagne and some chocolate covered strawberries. Keep in mind, these are "Log Cabins" not the usual hotel rooms with room service, that we are accustomed too, but Deborah went out of her way to make it happen for us! Deborah, you are absolutely amazing, thank you so much! From the moment we arrived on the property to moment we left, it was just magical! I don't know any other way to describe it. It was like living in a fairy tale. When the flock of Mallard Ducks crossed the road at the creek, in front of us and later surprised us at our cabin, was priceless!!! My wife and I couldn't stop smiling the entire day. From the sounds of the water cascading down the creek, to the crackling sounds of the burning logs in the fireplace, made for a very romantic and unforgettable Valentine's Day! We are recommending Barons Creekside to all of our family and friends! God bless you Daniel & Deborah for allowing us to experience this very special place! We will be coming back soon! PS: Everything you describe on your website is true. We encourage everyone to take the time to read your story! You truly transported us to another time and place! We absolutely loved it!

Yelp
I LOVED this place. So cozy, clean, and peaceful. I highly recommend if you're in the area. The best place to relax and enjoy nature. The animals (ducks and cats) on premise also are very friendly, I was concerned about an orange cat who was sick. I hope the very nice staff at the lodge will take him to the vet. He hung out by my cabin all night wanting attention. He came right up to me and I noticed he had a bad cough and cuts on his face.

Yelp
One of the best places you will ever stay! We stayed in the Zug cabin and it was beautiful! Everything was perfect and comfortable, and Daniel is awesome! So nice and accommodating to anything you might need. Such a romantic weekend for the both of us, and you'll get a loving welcome from the ducks and a few of the cats that live on the property! We absolutely cannot wait to return!

Yelp
My family and I were absolutely blown away bye our stay at Barons Creekside. The grounds were incredibly well-kept and featured several really cool trails where we would walk after dinner. The owners were very kind and generous and we will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
We rented out 3 houses and 5 cabins for our 40th birthday this month! It was such a wonderful time!! Everyone loved their cabins/houses. They were all so unique but cozy and clean. We ALL didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!!! Would for sure recommend for groups or even just a couple get away. Not far from downtown but just far enough away to feel like your in the country.
