Barons CreekSide

It was an absolutely excellent experience staying here. Check in and check out were painless. The cabin itself was beautiful and well stocked. We were delighted to see the friendly outdoor cats and geese that would visit us. Overall, it was a great experience and one of my favorite places I've stayed away from home.

This is a GEM! We visit Baron's Creekside at least once a year and sometimes more. The history of this place, the owner(s) and their cabins are intriguing. The resort grounds are beautiful, peaceful, private, relaxing and just a few blocks from downtown Fredericksburg. If you don't want to leave the resort, you can take a nice stroll up the hill to their Bistro for live music, cocktails and a delicious menu. Everyone I've spoken with at the resort has been friendly and personable, but Daniel has always been especially accommodating with any special requests. You might find that one cabin that is your favorite, but I suggest trying a different one each time. Each one has it's own charm and interesting story.

Our stay at Baron's CreekSide was AMAZING! We stayed in the Rhine Falls Cabin. The cabin was cozy. We loved sitting on the porch at night while listening to music & looking at the stars. The Club was Fantastic! We went a couple of nights and enjoyed some wine, laughs & music. We will DEFINITELY be going again!

This is a great resort. We stayed in one of the Swiss cabins, which has a small kitchen, breakfast area, den, and bedroom with a shower-jacuzzi. While being right next to town with great access to the historic downtown of Fredericksburg, it has a very rural feel with a creek running through the property. Visits by nature were frequent with deer, hummingbirds, etc. Highly recommended and we will stay there again.

Our stay at Barons CreekSide was like a fairytale. We saw deer, ducks, kitties, raccoons and, my favorite, LIGHTNING BUGS during our stay. Our accommodation was the Zug cabin, which had a lovely location right by the creek. My husband and I walked the property at dusk, and it was so lovely. We were able to book massages (the therapists come to you!) and he had arranged to have flowers waiting in the cabin, for our anniversary. This was our second stay on this property, and we will certainly be back for another.

We stayed at the Swiss Cabin in Geneva and absolutely loved it. The cabin was cozy and immaculate… we truly appreciated the cleanliness. Every detail of the cabin was thoughtfully done, making our stay even more special. We especially enjoyed the balcony, which had comfortable rocking chairs and a beautiful view of the creek and ducks.. the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine and take in the scenery. The Club was also wonderful. We had a lovely dinner with wine while watching the sunset, and we had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Daniel and Deborah, who were incredibly warm and welcoming! We will be back!! Thank you!

Would highly recommend, everyone was friendly and helpful. Grounds were clean and beautiful. Loved the cabin. The club had great music and so welcoming. Will definitely be coming back.

Barons Creekside is a gem - a small taste of Switzerland in Texas Hill Country. The grounds are lovely and each cabin is unique. The property is well laid out and very easy to find your way around. We enjoyed the creek and ducks and were often visited by Jazzy the cat. Our cabin was spotless and the amenities were plentiful - so cute. The owners thought of everything! Enjoyed some serious porch time with music from The Club before we strolled over for dinner. It is a quick drive into Fredericksburg and also convenient to other attractions in the area. We loved our stay and it was perfect in every aspect. Will definitely stay here if we are ever in the area again.
